The 10 drop Blackbeard only negates leader effect for the current turn, aka the turn of the player who just played it, useful against enel. It negates a character effect until end of opponents next turn, you're getting them confused.
Yes!!! I think I figured that out when I made the little text pop up, but thank you for writing this out for anyone else who is confused (it was wild to watch hahaha)
As dominant as that looked for Blackbeard, they were still dead to Diablo Jiambe. I think Blackbeard played it way too slow and gave RP Luffy an out (unless they had open declists and knew the opponent wasnt running jiambe)
That's the first BB list I've seen using Brook. This player burned through half his deck and we never saw Brook so just drop the 2 Kaidos and 2 Brooks for 4 This is MY TIME!!!! and you got most of his recipe.
Are you talking about the don sleeves? I think it's in the product line that's what we're getting in our Store Regionals en.onepiece-cardgame.com/events/2024/championship/store_regionals_october.php

Well I guess it doesn't matter since his team lost either way but still Also, I find your commentary great! But sometimes I get the feeling you are under pressure to keep talking no matter what. Any pro that can explain why he played the Kid first 12:36 and THEN went on to do his attacks? The onplay effect was negated so he is literally just showing his opponent exactly how big his 2 attacks are going to be which is objectively a worse play or what am I missing? Edit: Even worse, why play the blocker before attacks 18:00 and then hit life for potential triggers against black!? That feels like the most basic thing in this game. I have to be missing something lol
In both of these instances, the Kid gives the Luffy leader a power boost when attacking, but they have to put a don back in the deck to do so. If you do this before resting any, you’re putting back an active don so you only get 9 in a turn, so I think he’s just trying to maximize his don use
