More camera tracking more camera tracking 😃🤘🏾😃🤘🏾😃🤘🏾PLEASE most of the tutorials out there are like over an hour a long and very complicated you have a very easy way of explaining it thanks for the tutorial keep filming
Thanks Patrick! I'll try to keep them coming. :)
would using a camera gyro stabilizer thingy increase quality or reduce work load ?
Loveeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuu
Other tutorials are longer and more complicated because they go more in depth in motion tracking this is more of a play and go tutorial not much explanation on how the trackers actually work
When we use camera tracking.... Plz reply me anybody
Please More!!! This is one of the Best Camera-Tracking Tutorials ever!!!
You really need to make more videos. There is no tutorials like yours on RUclips. Your videos are amazing. Thank you so much. You have no idea how helpful these videos are. Thanks alot.
I had done Blender camera tracking twice in the past and got fairly good results, but I was reluctant to use it again, because it seemed to take forever. Lots and lots of camera solving and tweaking before I got it right. I learned it from someone else's tutorial and remember writing everything down: 462 steps (exaggeration, but there were quite a lot of steps). Your tutorial explains it much better, makes it seem less daunting. I'm excited to try it again....
Today I finished a camera tracking test using your tutorial, and it went fast and worked pretty well. Thank you!
Watched this when you posted it, 2 years on and this is still useful and inspirational, noice
The automatic adjusted shadow catcher nodes in the Compositor aren't necessary anymore since you can go in the Ground's object tab->scroll down->click 'shadow catcher' and the ground will be invisible but receive shadows from objects
Thanks for noting this! Yes, that is true. It works just as well also.
Kenan Proffitt I always had problems with the shadow catcher nodes since it wasn't easy to manage issues like edges or shadow problems even though I love the compositor.
So I'm pretty happy that the shadow catcher was released :D
Awesome! I'd love to see more camera tracking tutorials.
Always like camera tracking/scene reconstruction for no other reason than I don't use it enough, and tuts make great refreshers. Especially 'nutshell' ones like this. Thanks
finally, someone easily explained what is tracking the camera :)
This is the best camera tracking tutorial I have seen! I got to bring my new model into real life!
Many Thanks, Bro, for all your Awesome Work and Tutorials!! 👍🏾👍🏾
Short, Concise, and to the point. Amazing tutorial Kenan
I already knew pretty good camera track i have done cool stuff with it like add a bouncy ball to real life but this tutorial help me understand it better thanks you deserve more 🙂
I will love to see more camera tracking tutorials, like screen replacement, or adding a CG cape to a real life person, or replacing a staff with a cooler CG sword.
Really solid tutorial! Can’t wait for more!
Thank you I'm just learning blender and I love it, it's alot of work, appreciate you making things easier.
TRACKING IN BLENDER IS VERY USEFUL AND ACCURATE..
Yes, definitely would like to see more, many thanks!
hope your good bro thanks for this
Thanks love it short and two the point 😎👌🏾
Do you mean three the point?
What a great video. Full of condensed useful information
I would love to see more videos like this
Yes, I ´d like to subscribe to keep watching more about camera tracking and cleaning plates! Thanks!
Excellent presented! Thanks a million!
Yeah it would be awesome to have a tutorial on animations and camera tracking, something simple, like a panel opening in the ground, you know? Great job, keep it up!
Great video as always! would love to learn more VFX stuff in a series... keep up the good work!!!
imagine the olden days where they used to move the object every frame manually
Very nice. I didn't know that blender had this.
Thanks for making this dude!
love the royalty free dubstep
Thanks for this awesome tutorial, keep up the fantastic work.
Thanks Luke! :)
Thank you for this man, my dumb self was able to understand everything easily because of this. Great tutorial man.
Thank you! very useful! w'll wait for new tutorials!
I learned some new things about tracking, thanks for the tutorial.
OMG. I'm actually quite speechless on how basically easy this can be. It's more tedious than anything but I, for some reason, like tedious things. It gives me a reason to put on music while doing this. A while ago when I was watching things about Blender, I watched quite a bit of Blender Guru's video on motion tracking and got the idea that it's really hard. The only thing that makes it hard is crappy quality footage. I'm glad I watched this before fully watching Blender Guru's video. It's 57 mins. I mean, Blender Guru overly explains things so if I want to get more details, he is good for that but this is a quick and simple rundown on how to do this. Thanks.
One question I have is how do you render it? Do you render it like you normally do? Like I usually just render it into pictures, then into a video. And is the sound, if any, included once you render?
When I do try it, I may have questions. I don't know until I try once.
omg THIS IS PHANTASTICC!!!
I dont know weather its your voice or mic, but it sounds great. You have a future in voicing
Would probably be a good idea to place down some very high contrast crosses on the ground and mask them in post if necessary
So useful and concise. Thanks
Simple, clear, useful. Thanks.
Super clear. awesome thanks!
aaah, superb, neat and clear, no yt fodder, love it. i would like to add some 3d text over my video, with camera tracking. thx for sharing, have fun, s love nia
thankyou very much for the sucha great tutorial. looking forward for next episode
2 questions. 1:How did you prevent the shadow clipping through the footage with the plane? 5:40
2. How do you implement an object to interact with the scene? For example, the wall next to the text on the right. How would I go about blocking the object with that wall?
very cool bro
YOU SAVED MY LIFE
I would have died
Quick and essential, thanks for sharing ! Surely subject worth developing ))
Bloody incredible! Thanks!
awesome tutorial. Thanks for posting.
Great video and would love to see more...a lot more videos like this!! Thank you Thank you!!
thank you so much!! love it, easy to understand and great knowledge.
This is a PERFECT tutorial. It just does everything right :) Nice work, Kenan!
I liked this video because it was informative.
I commented because you are wearing a JP shirt.
Good tutorial simplified
Please more motion tracking with more difficult solves, and longer scenes where the camera pans and tracking objects leave the scene and then return, and how does one connect them together.
Thank you,sir.
Vs you please do this again. just in blender 2.8!
@Dun Ravin ha, I was about to day the same thing.
is this is different in 2.8?
@@felixkfriju2649 no not really.
I just made a successful track in 2.8 there isn’t really a difference
Awesome tutorial. I used the footage you provided to create a small vfx clip. would you mind if share that on youtube?
What specs needed for normal use ( laptop ) ?
Yes a new Kenan Proffitt tutorial :)
Alimayo Arango hey im ur subs too
Thanks for showing this
Fanatastic tutorial.
Very informative and easy to follow.
Do you think you can guide us to do lip syncing and motion capture in the same manner?
awesome ..totally in to this! thanks.! now my whole night is ruined - wont be able to sleep..
This is great, it's basically the Cliffsnotes to the novel "How in the F#8k do I get Blender to camera track properly".
Please do an update version and how to make the font have any matalic effect
i love this one
I am Indonesian. I like this video
It really sucks when you get to know a program and they completely change the location of everything to the point where you have to relearn everything just to use it.
But the new UI was needed.
Yep. Tried using this tutorial and I can't even get past the first step, because that icon he's clicking to get to motion tracking is no longer there. Guess I have to look elsewhere.
@@kevinv1370 Agreed, I used to hate 2.8 on its new release, now I'm loving the UI.
@@daringcuteseal Facts, took me a few days to relearn the UI and I got to say its miles better than the previous one
you do realize there is an option to go back to the old UI
Now i can make a movie lol
Hahah go for it!
we need more cam tracking pls
we want to see more please man
Please continue tracking along these line with Node compositing details like masking, reflections. Thank you
Please make a version for 2.8. I am confused with the UI. But thank you for this.
Great tutorial...some how I cannot render the video clip shown in background.only viewport 3d are getting rendered but not video clip.. please help me for this ..i am not changing any of the compositing node which blender prepared for rendering both of them.
Please do this again in blender 2.8
Could you please remake this video with blender 2.8x and explaining every step detailed (tracking solving compositing and the shortcuts etc..) thanks in advance
Yes! Please do more!
Will do! :)
I really love your tutorials and I'm looking forward to some other awesome vfx tutorials. 👍
Thanks Peter! I'll try to keep them coming! Thanks for watching! :)
THANK YOU
That's really cool
really want to see a video on those cracks in the wall
Dude this one was a simple and very good explanation. I hope u will make some more tutorial..
ca you do a new one this is outdated for blender now and i wan to be able to do this
Awesome!
Thank You BRo it helped me a lot
You guessed it: Can you redo this in 2.8?! Ther eis no Motion Tracking workspace :o( I tried setting one up but the icons have changed so even findout out what all the windows did is tricky - might have to reinstall 2.79.
Nice one! Subbed and liked!
Please do damaged walls and stuff in blender 2.8
Plz can you make a video about doing particle effects in a motion tracking scene, such a balls falling on someone’s head or moths flying around a lamp?
We would love a good scene reconstruction tutorial
Ty
whenever I do a track the solve error 0.1 every time but when I set my floor and origin way off in the distance.
Awesome 👌👌👌😍😍
what do you do if the video doesnt show up in the editor
"not as complicated as it might seem".... sure for a simple shot like this. This was the easiest possible shot to track. Fine for a tutorial on learning the controls and process. When the camera starts panning around and translating through the scene, maybe zooming, then things get ugly pretty quickly. I'm not sure Blender can solve for zooms. But thanks for the run-through. Its a perfectly adequate tracker for basic shots.
Alien Soup I agree, it all really depends on the footage, motion blur, and available camera data. I've been using Blender's motion tracker for a while, and it's been pretty capable. They've added an Autotrack add-on in 2.79 (or for upcoming 2.8 - it's available online). It's not perfect, but it's good for landscape shots. If you need advanced motion tracking tutorials, there's some great ones I can point you to.
@@SpencerMagnusson Coming in a bit late, but about these "advanced motion tracking tutorials" that are "some great ones"... I have Moby Motion, Oliver Villar, Blender Foundation's Tracking series, Andrew, cgGeek, and. of course, Kenan already bookmarked. What great insight am I missing that would allowing tracking with a cell phone that we all carry? I film with a tape measure and have Solves as low as .01743 (my best); yet have never had any Reconstruction anywhere close to what was shot.
I'd actually like to work done with cell phones. Oliver used an old, off brand camera, but that's about the closest. We all have cells so its relatable. And fiscally, I'd like see that I can achieve it with the $600+ piece of equipment I already have before spending the same and more on a workflow I cannot complete successfully.
Thanks for the video Kenan. Thumbs up Indiana USA.
You're welcome! :)
If I want to put something on someone's face, do I make the floor the face? Or still try to make the floor in the environment somewhere?
Super!
Solving error and not tracking perfectly a pole how to fix it
I need help! So i try to delete the one track that didnt track successfully.... but When i click on it becomes white... and when i delete it... all the points disappear... how do I just delete one point?
