Remains to seen whether this vehicle can be made at volume and profitably. Looking past the gleaming paintwork and multitude of LED lights I would like to know some of the basics about its range, performance, charging speed, safety characteristics and price.
The reason this looks so nice is because it’s an entirely fictitious design with no concessions for ergonomics, proper internals or manufacturing. There’s a reason consumer level trucks don’t ship with 5 inch offset wheel arches and a fully convex side profile
If they removed all those extra lights, 'bull bars' (really?), and other extraneous stuff, and put it on road wheels it would make quite a nice practical pick up truck for a tradesperson, especially with that towing capacity. As it stands, it is a bit pointless.

Fantastic review 🫶🏾
that looks amazing
Remains to seen whether this vehicle can be made at volume and profitably. Looking past the gleaming paintwork and multitude of LED lights I would like to know some of the basics about its range, performance, charging speed, safety characteristics and price.
Agreed Joseph, it remains to be seen whether any are produced. It's easy to create a non working prototype
How did you evaluate whether this brand deserved exposure on your platform?
Love this thing, some 80s graphics would look awesome
Big Back to the Future vibes going on with this truck.
The reason this looks so nice is because it’s an entirely fictitious design with no concessions for ergonomics, proper internals or manufacturing. There’s a reason consumer level trucks don’t ship with 5 inch offset wheel arches and a fully convex side profile
Getting my sight back made me regret my cyber truck order.
If they removed all those extra lights, 'bull bars' (really?), and other extraneous stuff, and put it on road wheels it would make quite a nice practical pick up truck for a tradesperson, especially with that towing capacity.
As it stands, it is a bit pointless.
Well, its a vaporware fashion accessory parading as a car.
Yes, ATM it's a total wanker's truck. Not that it will probably ever get built unless one of the other real automakers buys Alpha and makes it happen.
Beautiful
Classic, minimalist design, looks functional and fun. Will it be affordable?
Jack would never review a tank with bull bars
Not very FullyCharged
Hope to see you at FCL Sydney 2024 DK!! Part of the Asia Pacific team for FC.
When space is tight in a crew cab, suicide rear doors makes perfect sense
Now if it will only make it to the US; we need it.
They're California based, and there's one at the Peterson Auto Museum that I've seen up close. If this does become reality, I assume it'll hit the US first.
@@devenscience8894 Great news. Sign me up!
Unfortunate combination of „real“ footage from that car show and the known renders of something that doesn‘t exist. Not good journalism!
Missed opportunity to call the bigger version Alpha Direwolf
I love the old Toyota truck look
Good looking truck 😮
The Wolf in black reminds me of Marty McFly's Toyota at the end of Back to the Future
I have been watching, and you are very welcome.
(re: video title) Soooo.... how exactly is this better than a Cybertruck?
Words have meaning.
Alpha Motors EV's have always been the sexiest EV' designs in theory but I had long given up hope that they were real, I really hope the finally come out and sell well, I'd love to get a JAX.
The truck looks great. I would still like to see a true crew cab model.
Lot of talk, not so much walk 😊👍🏻
Us government will never allow a Chinese manufacturer to compete for the pick up truck market in the USA. This failure to to go up against the best out there will cause the us manufacturers to lose their edge if they have not already.
LOL! Hey, the folks from Back To The Future called, and said Marty wants his pickup back!
So...looks like a pickup truck...but doesn't do anything an "electric" variant could add to the usability of this vehicle type like powering tools and equipment, solar re-charging, portable construction lighting, additional/removable/swapable battery, etc.?
What a freaking cool looking thing! What I will say as an owner of a single cab ute (might be giving away my nationality there) DO NOT buy a single cab! They look great, but are such a pain in the arse. If you do any shopping it goes in the passenger footwell because who wants their shopping in the back even with a tarp on it because it ends up all over the place, not to mention could be nicked, so can't take a passenger with you in comfort if you do some shopping. Cheers for the vid.
Too damn fancy! I want basic but robust in everyday use!
That'll be the Toyota HiLux then.
That is literally the coolest looking truck I have ever seen and its just the right size!
I remain Cautiously hopeful on Alpha Motors Corp.
Their designs are exactly what I feel we need in EV's.
I mean, they're CARS.. I think the Sn not wheeled spacecraft.
(That look is far too radical and would scare away too many potential Buyers, IMO)
Myself, I'd be particularly interested in the "Rex" SUV, providing they turn out to be reliable, affordable and Real.
Another pickup. Ugh. Hey, was there a Ray EV there? Now that would be cool to see. Any newer, perhaps more bongo trucks?
dam that looks good
man
