Thats quite a cool suit! You should try to put an analog compressor between the preamp of the microphone and the computer/amp whatever you put next to it. It will cancel out the low volume noises you receive from your speaker in your chest, and let the high volume sound go through. A few opamps and an optocoupler will get the job done. It should reduce most or maybe all of the feedback. (We sometimes do this in studio's and it works fine, I don't really know how it performs in such weird conditions but It would be interesting to try it out).

I use my real voice and acting for my fursuit. he's a TV monster and its kinda fun to do his voice (for a girl I do some wicked voice acting) his voice is very demonic and low with almost a snarly like effect. u add "glitching" and its done! if I could afford a voice changer that would be good because after a while my voice gets very very tired and my throat gets funny haha... 😅😅 but yeah... I really like how you did this voice its very cool! and how you got it to go through the speakers was cool as well 😊

It's truly breath taking how much effort and skill and co-ordination goes into something like this.. Some people will just think you've got a really decent voice changer just hooked up to some speakers in there and its all good but it doesnt work like that...Really, you have to record (and vocode/modify your voice with various VST's and effects i think?) and then sync it to an mp3 or something, play it through the speakers while performing and co-ordinating your actions with your voice.. The final product is just amazing. Hats off to the only fursuiter going that serious extra mile to be unique

Well if its a head you are constructing, 'Kloofsuits' does an awesome step by step video series on their channel. The only part I really don't like is the 'bucket head' method they practice. Nicholas - It would still use speakers, just built into the head. You would need some serious masking for that, though. Even the one I'm working on will likely have the speakers built into either the chest, shoulders, or neck guard (because, y'know. Robot...).
im actually putting speakers into my character, echo so that my voice echos while i speak... the following has happened. 1. the test suit caught on fire. 5 times. 2. i was called out for "copying" 3. the autio failed. horribly. 4. playing any music from said speaker caused a small fire whilst testing the suit BEING WORN.

I don't know how you would feel about this, but it could be cool to see you "fight" the system. like when the voice says; "Beauty of the Bass will be shutting down now" or what not, there could be your voice responding; "No I'm not! I am in control!" idk I think it would be cool, but everyone has different opinions, and maybe that just doesn't work with your sona. :-)

I was going to make a dragon suit with a voice changer installed. I was going to be cool and create a cool device that has the speaker and mic in one piece. you can isolate the sound from the mic using some sort of sound dampening material, that's what I was going to do. like have the mic on one side and then separate it from the speaker using sound proofing. for bass it would be (imo) easy to do because the speakers are on the outside and fits the whole robo atheistic, but for a dragon, eh, not so easy. I noticed you said you tried hardware but I don't know if your referring to sound proofing, but you might want to try that.
DethKlokLord1 There are actually one-piece voice changers that you can buyw offh of... Amazon, I believe, that do a fair job of blocking out feedback. I was kinda surprised BotB was having feedback issues.

Maybe you could put in some static and put in some hidden or maybe some other voiced messages in the background (like ghosts talking into an EVP). Another good one is maybe you could add some other voice echos when glitching, if that makes sense. Edit: some Wendigo-like noises would add well to Bass’s character

When I first saw beauty of the bass, I thought the speakers were there just for decoration, I think it's so cool that not only did you put speakers in your fursuit but they actually play music and pre recorded voices. :D

I was going to be cool and create a cool device that has the speaker and mic in one piece. you can isolate the sound from the mic using some sort of sound dampening material, that's what I was going to do. like have the mic on one side and then separate it from the speaker using sound proofing. for bass it would be (imo) easy to do because the speakers are on the outside and fits the whole robo atheistic, but for a dragon, eh, not so easy. I noticed you said you tried hardware but I don't know if your referring to sound proofing, but you might want to try that.

DethKlokLord1 There are actually one-piece voice changers that you can buyw offh of... Amazon, I believe, that do a fair job of blocking out feedback. I was kinda surprised BotB was having feedback issues.
Bass is my favorite suit i absolutely love how interactive he is with the crowd, i defiantly wish i could get a suit like this for Halloween, I go to so many fairs a suit like this would be amazing! Keep up the great work!

Maybe you could put in some static and put in some hidden or maybe some other voiced messages in the background (like ghosts talking into an EVP). Another good one is maybe you could add some other voice echos when glitching, if that makes sense.
Edit: some Wendigo-like noises would add well to Bass’s character

When I first saw beauty of the bass, I thought the speakers were there just for decoration, I think it's so cool that not only did you put speakers in your fursuit but they actually play music and pre recorded voices. :D
