There is one - "Я ухожу"/"I'm leaving" (or another name is "The pine is making noise") - a sad story about the deceitfulness and transience of love, the betrayal of a beloved girl and soldier's death in war. The song has long since become a folk song and in various variations has been known since the times of the Soviet-Chinese border conflict for Damansky Island on Ussuri river in 1969 and was popular during all subsequent military conflicts of the USSR/Russia (so it can be use footage from Chechnya or Afghanistan).The songwriter is private Nikolai Petrov (1947-1969, Ulan-Ude, 57th frontier detachment), presumably wrote it in the period from January 4 to February 28, 1969. Nikolai died at Damansky on March 2, 1969. In my opinion, Valery Petryaev (you already made a video with him) has the best performance of this song (copy without spaces): youtu. be /KALybWF4PdQ
Another song - "Light the candles!", are rightfully considering in Russia as a requiem of the Chechen wars, as well as, for example, the famous Soviet song "Cranes" was a requiem for WW2 soldiers. There are two versions, the original one performed by a teenage boy's band (solo by one of the singers) "Чернила для пятого класса" or "Ink for the fifth grade" by composer Sergei Kuznetsov, he is the author of the text and music (this version is very often mistakenly attributed to the famous Russian singer Petlyura due to the similarity of his voice to that young boy). youtu. be /dyRt826AgdY

Зелёнка (zelyonka) - slang Russian name for a forest zone, popular among soldiers who fought in Chechnya and Afghanistan
Also, [нас] снимали ([nas] snimali) - it means not only "[we were] filmed", but also slang, popular among the military, meaning "[we were] taken down/[we were] killed"

0:23 - A Duval is a type of house made out of clay in Central Asia
0:39 - “Zelyonka” is a type of antiseptic green dye (“Brilliant Green”) commonly used to clean wounds in the USSR. It was also used to describe the shrubbery and vegetation that Mujihadeen used as cover
1:27 - “Betonka” is a type of prefabricated concrete slab used commonly to quickly create paved roads and runways during the soviet-afghan war

your ability to find these songs make me assume you are a veteran, spasibo tavarish; I can't begin to image how horrible it was. As with many wars, unfortunately the soldier found themselves under the foot of the political leadership and at best, survived with insurmountable scars
I myself am not a veteran, but, I appreciate your interest and thank you for watching these. I'm actually from the US and I've known some veterans from the more recent war, and I have the utmost respect for everyone who served there, American or Soviet.
