Dude they came out with a slim?! The one complaint I have with my Legion 5 is it's so bulky lol

For that reason I ordered a slim 7 gen 8 with amd processor. Got the Legion 5 as well, and Im very happy with it for gaming. But for my use case of a laptop, it just isnt that suitable. Very poor battery life, heavy, huge power brick and bulky. For school or on the go work, the Legion 5 is just too bulky in my opinion. The Slim 7 should fix those issues I had with the legion 5.

There are mobile workstation laptops that have plenty of ports and a dedicated power jack. For example the Dell Precision or the HP Z-Book lines.

The AMD Slim 7/5, as a productivity workstation, will be used with 140W USB-C charger. 35W for CPU is more than enough, 50W for iGPU only when you game. 4060 can also run at 35W and the performance at 60W is not far off from 100W. Lenovo only bundles the 230W charger because if your backpack gets stolen, the thief can't run fast and far, or the 50cc moped runs out of gas before you run out of breath from chasing him. There are also some third party 140+ W chargers out there. Slim 7/5 are best Lenovo laptops. Thinkpad's still come with 5 Gbit USB, black colour, reflective 2400p Oled or 1200p trash, small arrow keys.

Yo cannot charge the laptop at 140W if the output is at 28V 5A(which is the industry standard), only at 20V 7A and only Lenovo 140W chargers can do, more over there’s none charger for that in the US, the one that you can buy from china doesn’t allow 140W unless the input is 220V, and US grid is 120V, so yeah. At the moment is just not posible to have that charging speeds if you are in USA

Hello I got HP Victus 16 which has 12th gen i5 12500H and RTX 3050 graphics while 512 SSD and 16 DDR5 Ram for 650 USD dollar do u think it is worth it? I was going for Asus or Lenovo or even Acer nitro series but my budget is limited and I can only find specs I want on Victus series?

If it has all the spec you want, then it is worth it. The only difference between HP vs Asus vs Lenovo is just build quality. Some will take more abuse than the other.

Yeah, there are a few things. One of the fastest ways to do that though is by decreasing your screen refresh rate down to 60Hz.

I have a workstation laptop. The 16" MacBook Pro. For crying out loud. It chews through videos, just not a great gamer laptop, I don't play video games anyways these days. Don't have time for it.
