When your fans become your haters.
Ness is delusional.
Shout out to Cliff for exposing Benzino
I also believe that no one in the world seriously believes that benzino can write
Facts, he’s vocabulary words s limited to the n word lol
Houdini is doing exactly what it intended to do. Dumbed down catchy single to capture the masses & then the album will come with all the heat
True
aka, selling out. dumbing down for sales. smh
@@Tom11CruzHow many Grammys you got?
@@Tom11Cruz He always drops a cheesey single before the album. Em doesn't need to dumb anything down for sales lol wtf are you talking about.
All the heat!
This isn’t a battle tournament.
Benzino used his magazine to try and destroy Eminems career and legacy.
You teamed up with his legit Opp.
Lol. Em been living rent & electric free in his head for 10 yrs?
He's been arguing with random stans & decides to drop it as it a ghost for zino.. .. 😂
Salute to everyone on this podcast except for nes lee.
Eminem definitely got a candy wrapper Nestlé crunch “bar” coming for you on his album
Dang. That was fire lol.
Damn, this just ruined my whole appreciation for Ness Lee. He was one to one of my favorite battle rappers, and I still respect his craft, but he definitely lost my respect thing that proof would be OK with you dissing em bro you’re lying to the world and your self

Really loved the convo. Unbiased and constructive
Giving Em the flowers and yet criticizing him carefully and constructively
Portugal here for the GOAT Eminem since day one and forever.
Before Eminem I started to enjoy hip hop in the late 80's, and remember I'm from Portugal, at the time very few people understood english, but thanks to MacGyver and other tv shows we started to associate words and see the translation.
What moved my attention to hip hop was the need to speack raw, the beats, message, and what's was coming with it, if it makes sense to you.
I remember one of the first rap artists I started to listen and love was NWA, Wu Tang, Thugs N Harmony, LL, Chuck D, some french rap cause their melodies were way better and complex, with scratches and so on, Mc Solar, NTM etc..
Then, 2Pac appeared and blown my mind, sick and amazing, wow, I had posters, tapes, magazines, bandanas, you name it.
Along the way I was introduced to Nas, Warren G, The Fugees, Notorious BIG (even if I was mad for somehow, and at the time I wasn't understanding it well, for associating him as a 2Pac enemy), DMX and others.
Then here in Portugal and worldwide, at the time I went to the army as a Paratrooper, Eminem took the world.
I've never seen in my entire life no one, I mean no one period ( and if you are at least 40 you know) to shock and be so massive worldwide for so many years non stop.
Because of Marshall I was exposed to lyrics way different than the most part of hip hop at the time focused mainly on bling bling and bitches and drugs.
Eminem introduced and adressed even more things to the rap game and was able to spread it worldwide, in a time we didn't have easy acess to social media, lyrics, videos, like nowadays, and when I think about that, I realize... isn't it crazy guys? Imagine this man at the time with todays technology, just for a second, imagine, and the numbers along with it.
If that man still has the record for best selling rap album 1st week, back then, today he would gone Diamond first week easy, really easy.
He showed what the struture, new ways to rhyme, we actually could finally listen what he says cause of his cadence, tone in the highlights, what he adressed was a mix of creativity as an artist with real social problems and till today, he made comedy in the songs and videos, an iconic movie and won 1st oscar for a rap song, made songs to cry, to laught, to be upset, to be offended, to be inspired, to add motivation, always keeping it real.
What a team Em signed by the legend Dre, then bringing 50, D12, etc....
We respect him for being raw, for knowing where he came from, what that man with literaly nothing, no family struture etc, done against all odds at the time an almost no entry for caucasians, even if it's not the reason people love him, in fact was way difficult to be accepted and enter the game because of that, the Tiger woods of rap.
He done all, battle rap, won all disses, he writes his songs, well you know that we could be here talking and naming endless qualities.
All this just to say, I would never diss Eminem or 2Pac, or Nas or Wu tang and some of the names I mentioned in the begining. Cause as someone once said, loyalty and love means more than any awards or money. I'dd never sell my soul and heart cause I would never be able to live with that.
Salutes and respect from Portugal, ai respect you and what you do a lot.
I can tell you put your heart into this write up. Big ups
Rap não presta pra nada, se não fosse o eminem a tornar isso um pouco divertido e criar letras mais variadas e inteligentes, 90% das palavras de cada música continuariam a ser as mesmas a cada canção dessa gente de baixo QI. Papa papa, pipa papi papa, Nword, papi pipa papa….pffff
@@Clefyy I wanted to write more and to be able to put it in words, and in english. But I guess I made my point. Thanks.
@@ErmelindoBarreto you passed your message perfectly ✌🏽
Heres my thing about Em that no one talks about, hes the only legend in rap that is criticized at this level. The guy is 52 years old and still somehow dropping relevant music thats doing numbers, whether I like Houdini or not (which i like it for what it is) it would be corny/cringy of me to shake my head/sigh and emphasize how “trash” I think it is. For me it doesn’t matter what Hov, Kanye, Nas, Rakim etc etc drop, if i dont like it i dont like it and thats fine but it would be corny to overly criticize them considering their age and legacy. No other legend in rap is criticized to the level Eminem is, and its fucked up cuz I don’t even think its warranted. Music to be murdered by is his last album and that mf is actually very good overall.
Also I have to say Ness Lee is one of my favorite battle rappers of all time, and i completely understand and respect his opinion. I just don’t agree with the head drop sighing and being that critical about this guy thats been in the game for 25 years. Theres alot of Eminem songs that I fuckin HATE but I keep it to myself, I don’t focus on the Eminem songs i don’t like. If someone like JID started dropping garbage music, it would make more sense to criticize because hes fresh in the game. Eminem dropped 3 classic albums back to back and had very good albums late in his career. The Em hate is weird.
@vvemomusic5543 i agree EM gets alot of hate mostly because hes a white guy some people just don't like that a white rappers can be considered one of the best rappers.
Em does make corny music now. And has been corny for years. Em does have POWERFUL songs and I am fan of his songs but not his albums.
@ILLMATIC2222 I disagree with you he doesn't make corny music it's just not your type of music which is fine to each their own.Just because you can't relate to his music or like certain albums and songs he makes don't make it corny.
@@RagingGuts-tl7ot I am a fan of Eminem. I prefer the serious Em, the witty Em. Not the babbling rhyming robotic Em.
I feel like he puts in "I'm ahead like my noggin" bars for kids and pop fans
Then he puts in 2-4 real bars for the heads.
He's just got a huge fan base and he covers all fronts.
That's the struggle. The cook puts 💩 on top of your food for the flies, but under that is 5 star meal food the critics.
Em is the Undisputed GOAT
Verb is going to get they $1M
Great conversation but I can’t wait to hear all of the ways Em is going to rhyme Ness Lee and Benzino 😂
ness not understand that eminem has the biggest and most loyal fans in the world
24:47 EMINEM WROTE THE WATCHER

Thank you!
The Em song was good for what it was supposed to be, like MJ said. But he definitely had a couple witty bars and a few nice flows with dope rhyme schemes. I agree with 40, I mainly have him in my top because of *how* he raps, not necessarily his content.
This was delightful,eyeful
I'd say that I liked y'all 🙌🎵
Ness mad because he can’t do what Eminem does.Stop trying to put him in your little box.
Em the Goat but I appreciate ya’ll being respectful
Em verse at the start brings heat shessh 😮💨
Hater in the middle Ness just mad he didn’t get signed to Shady it’s very obvious. You was probably nice & thought you should get noticed but Eminem is big on loyalty & he hates fake people that’s why you didn’t get signed.
Bring back 40 she has the knowledge and cheeks
You guys on Spotify? Pod and music of your guests? I wanna know more about Ness and 40's muisc.
dude the intro was fking fireeeeeeee
Come on Ness... hahaha! "I lost Eminem when I heard The way I am"... meaning : a brand new flow in rap for the first banger single of the 2nd album studio of Eminem doing unmatched numbers the very 1st week-end when it came out. He would have kept loving him if he just stopped evolving, kept the same freestyle flow that would have locked him down to a low level of success and of practice, simple as that. Stop lying to yourself bro, this is pure envy and jealousy disguised in "criticism". If you would have said that without having associate yourself to benzino to diss him, like a b****, it would have been like, yeah, keep talking, like the drunk old uncle a bit bitter thinking about his carrer, because he has talent but no recognition, but act like it was his choice to "keep it real" bullshit. But to write a diss for Benzino, at this point, man, you can say whatever you want, you lost every credibility. And bringing the name of proof won't be enough to limit the damage. it's even worse. Very bad move. Pure Eminem hater, like so many others. That's all. Your talent doesn't matter much after this.
Ness Lee has always been emotional. He used to catch heat from fellow battle rappers for arguing with fans who say he lost a battle in the comments. Like, literally go down and reply to every comment that said anything remotely constructive or negative about his performance. He's soft, and always has been. So it doesn't surprise me that the "stans" have this big of an impact on him
First of all.
Slim shady isn't only for whites.
There is a huge Eminem fan base in Africa, middle east and Asia who like Slim shady style.
Secondly,
He's not retiring after this album.
This guy in the middle with a cap knows nothing about him, just spreading some fake information.
He should retire...each album he puts out just further dampens his legacy. imagine if he stopped after eminem show. he would legitimately be considered in the goat conversation.
@Tom11Cruz What are you smoking ? 😂
Thanks, he's still performing and give us such a quality and beat the records.
Em is 🐐
Don't gaf what others think.
@@Belisarius-Flavius Stans are so delusional lol
@@Tom11Cruz racists like you are so delusional, lol.
@@Tom11CruzNo. Ppl like u are delusional. Eminem is still going #1 in many countries. Despite not dropping an album in several years, over those years he’s the #2 selling rapper behind only Drake (who is in his prime).
You not liking his music doesn’t mean others don’t. Him selling more than your favorite proves u are delusional. So do the likes in this thread Mr. Ratio. You are the minority in this situation. By a lot.
Battles between friends who are bringing your A game for outta respect for their skill as much as your own... those are the ultimate battles bc they go back to being a battle of pens not all about 'dissin' or at least the disses go back to how we would have joked around when younger.
This to me is the aspect of battle rap that will forever be pat's legacy
🙏🕊🙏 LLPS
Ness Lee, where is your music?
Yo what bag? How much did zino pay you and did you get your money???
Dont do that to an artist you respect
Friend and all that is different but if you respect him then naw... not for someone like benzino who doesnt
What was that noise at 1:14:02?
I'm a recent "Stan"....I've only recently gotten on the point of defending Em's talent. I can appreciate everything that Ness is saying. I may not agree with it, but I may also feel where he is coming from. I truly feel that if Ness sat down with Em tomorrow, they would have an awesome and respectful conversation.
And, people seem to forget that just because my favorite rapper isn't your favorite rapper doesn't mean he isn't a great rapper.
I would love Ness to ride with me and bump some Em, but I'd ride with him if he didn't want to. Mad respect.
Also, I feel that Marshall has become a dividing factor in the rap community...if not pop culture. I don't think that is fair, but I see why. The "Stans" have created that culture. But I guarantee you one thing....Em would do anything he could to protect the hip hop culture.
@@timwatsontimwatson not to be that guy, HOWEVER, the stans are just reactionary. They didn't start saying shit until this whole conversation started about Em and whether or not he deserved to be in the top 10. People like The Game, Benzino, Budden, Dr Umar and Charlamagne started saying all this racist and hateful stuff out of nowhere, just cause a lot of people consider Em to be the GOAT. That's what started this "culture" and the Stans' crusade...
What I would ask Ness is what are his 3 favorite Eminem songs? No hate or shame behind that question.
40 looks good af 😍💯

Billions of views, your ten cents are two
Skim through the music to give shit reviews"
What's the "bull shit" that Eminem says (@ Ness)?
And, is there any rapper that you wouldn't write a diss against?
Ness should be free to have his opinion.
I think it's hard to say whether or not Eminem would have had the same style today if Proof didn't pass. Emotions and life experiences all have an impact on the way you write and deliver.
Ness Lee a bum!
After the toxic Stan’s..
**I say this as someone who doesn't disagree with Ness's personal opinion on Em**
Sure as ish not just to monetize... not as a ghost
Battling yourself would have been respectable bc you're right your opinion is your opinion but to write for someone who's hating for the reasons he does...
Idk I can't see proof ever supporting that
And it wasn't smooth coming outta benzinos mouth or we wouldn't have been questioning it from the jump
Problem that nobody is trying to address is Eminem and Benzino is not a competitive sport. They actually have bad blood against each other. This is real life enemies like a Ja Rule, 50 Cent or a Gucci Jeezy type of thing they’ve been going at it for decades now when you think of Benzino You think of him only being Eminem‘s biggest enemy so you being a battle rapper coming into literally a war doesn’t make any sense especially when you have no parts in it eminem will not look at this as a competitive nature when he only sees Benzino sending it. He’s going to look at it as I’m ready to kill this dude literally if you would have sent that track, then Eminem would look at it as a competitive nature but you’re mixing the two which makes it bad. It’s almost like I have family that our crib but I’m a give these blood Niga some guns to kill some Crips once my family finds out about that, they’re not looking at me as a competitive sport. They’re gonna want to take me out as well as the bloods with that type of energy.
I can't and wont hate of Cliff for feeling some sorta way bout the way this went down...
Yes Eminem did write for dr dre.
Big stan but I fuck with Nes just for that jiren comparison 😂
40 would get it man she always been fire
40 is fine and fire
Ness is dope as a battle rapper but saying you're trying to live vicariously through another man instead of standing on your own penmanship is crazy.
Idk the guy defending Eminem but I think the difference here is the other other 3 look at it as the music BUSINESS. They are artist but they can accept the reality because this is how they pay bills. So that honorary loyalty to ppl you don't know is out the window.
It would be interesting if they were asked would they do the same if it was towards nas, pac, biggie ir Kendrick..if they answer yes! Then i understand its all business
@ak3nodxd674 Well, when it's about business, you have to exhaust all variable factors before making a decision. So if they wouldn't do the same for Pac, nas, Jay-Z, or BIG it doesn't mean it's not about business. Doing a diss track to those black artist might hurt their career more than it does with an Eminem diss track. Those artists fanbase are predominantly black, and they may lose more fans dissing them than they would dissing Eminem. So it wouldn't be a wise business decision
BS! It could never have a negative impact towards Tupac or Biggie! that is ridiculous! Stop using excuses man!
@@Sunny-jz3dy I don't understand what you're saying? You might need to reread the comments
Let's go 2200 show your new album....
24:42 why would he have a reason to ghostwrite for TREACH who actually spits when he can ghost write a Diss for DR. DRE who doesn’t.
