Pls help I have a problem while adding light to the 3d text. After I add Point Light, the whole text become- Black and shadow instead of white/gray. Can anyone help me with it ?
It might be because the light is too far awar from the text or even behind it so the back side is being affected by the light and the front is completely dark

Select the 3d camera effect in effect controls and the points will show up again, then just repeat the steps

Yes, it's not supposed to be there in the render. It's just for the visual representation

Did you follow the steps correctly? You've got to use tracking points and stick the text to them

You might have made a mistake along the way, because it should work fine
Found out it is because the composition was in reverse, this was through premier pro, had to load it directly in AE.

It is, but you won't get the same settings as a text layer. The tracking itself can be done in the same way
what do choose for your PNG solid or Null? do you attach it with the lasso? @@SmertimbaGraphics
