- nearly 10 years ago jason rennie jumped a motorcycle further than anyone else in the world . 253ft . but ryan capes from america has just recently broken jason s record with a jump of 316ft on september 26th 2009 . ... well done to ryan capes on his success full jump .......

Jason jumped 250+ feet in the rain...no comparisons to other jumpers are needed. Well done and much, much respect!
I raced him once. I remember him having 253 as a race number on an AMCA event. He kicked my ass.

the 16 of you that put thumbs down have no clue how hard it is to jump a motorcycle even 50 feet but to do it 250 feet in the rain! WOW that is a feet beyond belief and it takes alot of courage to face that monster and win! good on you Jason Rennie! Well done!
I jumped 5 trash cans on my buzz bike in 1975, with no landing ramp.
To do multiple jumps in the rain is nothing less than amazing.
Jason makes it look easy. I bought from tyres from him once. I said they looked hardly used. They’d sent most of the time in the air. What a star ⭐️

He wasn’t ranked top ten in British motocross but was always good at jumps as I remember,Top lad with neil prince,we cut our teeth in the quarries of Wrexham doing huge jumps. They were some of my best memories right there. Glad Jas got all these records Top lad

there are quite a few individuals who enjoy a good jump. Colby RAHA,amd this is a quick one that you can look up. But please do not misunder stand what i am saying . it is less uncommon now days.

It wasn’t not a 500cc Yamaha that was jumped before him. It was a Honda CR500R ridden by Doug Dangers.
The CR500 is one of my favorite bikes. Peppy, strong, fun machine to ride!

It was a demolished railway viaduct over the River Chelmer at Maldon, he didn't land well doing that stunt.

@@fendermon really? The Harley Davidson xr750 was designed for flat track and tt competition. TT tracks have jumps. Evel made a lot of jumps on a Harley Davidson xr750.

And incase you don't know .. American riders and American tuners made racing what it is today. There are great riders from all over the world but without the long list of great riders from the USA, motorcycle racing would not be what/where it is today.
