For freshers my suggestion is don't worry about package.
Think about learning scope and technology.
If you are in a good MNC but in support project. It would be difficult for job change.
If you have less salary but working on most demanding tools and technologies you will be worthy in future.
Always think about future not about company and salary.

This point can also be added on the negative-side of it. If the HR says ....."it's on HOLD.....we'll get back to you as soon as possible"....... is also doubtful
Hold means they have neutral opinion on you. Neither good nor bad. It depends on next person performance, if any guy performed better than you, it is negative.
My suggestion is read job description and give replies according to that.
Best example is you have to answer very confident and a bit more good answers are expecting from you.
Mr.@@sivaram7849 , I have around 20+ yrs, of exp. in IT-industry & worked in many places in India(Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad etc.). I have myself attended hundreds of interviews (& also conducted interviews). When they say "On-Hold", 99% of the time , I din't get the offer rolled-out. This is my experience. They openly don't say "you are rejected"!

When candidate called HR for follow-up, they told that they have still not got feedback from technical team and once they received the feedback they will callback
Case 2
Technical round not good that much
But HR has called and asked to provide CTC back-up

HR has mailed for further submission of required documents
