I like the lav Mike the best. The second and third had too much background noise and the fourth.. I prefer the cleaner look of a lav big radio broadcaster Mike's that so many RUclipsrs use. Plus those are more expensive. Thanks for showing me the comparison. You helped me to make a better decision in what I want to buy
Some good stuff, Ricky. Subbed. I've got my X-T4 rigged up into my Rode Podcaster and Podmic - great sound quality but man, gotta be pretty close to the mic! I'm still learning the audio stuff - thanks for a video with some more options.
Thanks for watching and commenting. This combo will definitely give your talking head videos a good sound . You got the video part down with the xh2. I sent you some clips keep in mind you can definitely tweak the audio in post and get exactly the sound you want .
ruclips.net/video/udzovw-kTp0/видео.htmlsi=ioZLajj4iBWJ3fiV Here's another video where you can hear the sound connected through the device directly to your camera .
Hey man I really appreciate this video and info. Question will this not work unless you have the mic booster as well and the adapter. Or should it work with or without booster? Curious to know because my set up is not working.
I did that with my Rod mic attached to XLR on the Saramonic rig and i attched it to my Camera , turned Saramonic on but when i use the mic or record my voice, i hear nothing
Yep! All set up as described but when i record with the cam i hear my voice from the cam with the usual noise, i mean its like i added nothing concerning the mic set up.
@@asmatravelvlogs does your camera show the audio level ? Do you have a headphone port on your camera and what level do you have your gain on your camera set to ?
Really helpful
Thank you. It's definitely what I used for a while. Thanks for watching

The lav mic is great. Thanks for watching I will be testing a powered shotgun mic vs the rode wireless go mics.

Thanks for watching. Podmic and podcaster is an amazing combination.
Thanks for subbing. I really appreciate you Watching.
Incredible! I've got an XH2 and have been looking around to see if I should get a ModPic or not.

Thanks for watching and commenting . It works without a mic booster. I'm dropping a video tomorrow to show what it sounds like without the booster.

Here is the video to see how it sounds without the mic booster.
Are you saying that I do not need to buy an audio interface with this Saramonic adapter? I use Sony A7c mirrorless cam. thank you
@@asmatravelvlogs yes exactly, this device takes the place of the interface.

Although the Saramonic is turned on. May be it has to do with audio settings in the cam??
@@asmatravelvlogs yes that is also possible. What camera do you have ?
