Disability Hate Crime: Speak up, Report it - Emma's Story (Victim)

When someone treats you badly because you are disabled, it is called a disability hate crime or disability hate incident.
Disability hate incidents may not be crimes, but if you experience them over and over again, it can change your mental and physical health.
Many people don’t know that disability hate incidents should be reported.
The aim of these films is to help people feel more confident to:
1. Recognise a disability hate crime or incident.
2. Know how to report a hate incident.
Series 1 shows four examples of disability hate crimes or incidents.
Series 2 shows the same stories from the bystanders’ point of view.

Some people can be so ignorant. They dont care until it affects them. That place should be reported if it had happened in real life.
