Marie, I wanted to thank you for the best instructional video for beginners. I have searched high and low and found many videos about start up, etc. but the majority assume the watcher already has some knowledge. I however, just purchased the 5 pro and it was like you knew exactly what I needed. Thank you SO much.
I am a brand new Juki Miyabi owner with QCT6 and I have to agree with this. I've watched so many videos trying to learn and this has been the best one by far.
You make this seem so easy! Looking at your video reminds me of all the steps I missed last time I quilted. Maybe this time it will turn out better! Thank you so much.
Marie, thank you so much for such an precise, clear, and accurate demo on the QCT 5 Power Panto. I was really struggling with some of the instructions for QCT 5 until I watched your video. One problem for me was the ending of my quilt, I dreaded getting to the last zone, hoping that it fit within reason, now your very easy instructions on what to do if your last panto zone is larger than the remaining of the quilt. . Again thank you so much. Now I am going to fix me a pot of coffee and watch your other videos on QCT5!!!!!!!
I just viewed your video on QCT version five on power Pantos. You have such a pleasing voice, you speak slowly and calmly and were very clear in your explanations. You were editing was done so well and I appreciated the highlighted buttons, circled areas etc. that you added in to your presentation. There are many teachers who could learn a lot from the way you present your material. Thank you
I am so thankful to have found your videos. I’ve had such a hard time following some of the other QCT5 videos as they get off point so often, too fast speech, and no clear view of what is being done on the screen….a lot of good information but too confusing for me, so thank God for your instruction videos😃
You did a wonderful job of explaining. I had so much trouble understanding the height where you said to choose 90” for a king size or baby quilt. N I had so much trouble with my last zone . You explained it well . I’m now so excited to start my next quilt . Thanks my dear
Excellent Video!!! The light bulb finally went on for me. You did an excellent job explaining Panto Stacker. I highly recommend subscribing to Marie's channel if you have QCT 5 Pro.
YAYYYY!!!! My Juki and QCT 5 Pro were delivered a couple of weeks ago. This is the best video I have watched to get me started!!! Thank you so much! Can't wait to see more of your tutorials.
Thank you Marie for your videos. I am ordering my Juki Miyabi and QCT for Juki this week. I’m excited. Your videos will be so useful. You explain so well and I appreciate it.
Thank you so much for the fantastic explanation of creating power pantos. I have a Qnique 15pro with a queen frame, I am assuming it will be similar to using the Juki with QCT5 PRO. I have had it for a while but as we all know life gets busy and I haven't had the opportunity to use it as much as I would like. You are amazing at explaining how to get to where I need to go. I also love your doggie. I saw him/ her in another video. I have a doodle puppy that just loves to help me too! Thanks again and God Bless
Thank you. I actually have 2 standard poodle, Bentley & Cooper. The software works the same on the Juki and the Q'nique. God Bless you on your quilting journey!

Phenomenal instructions; you must have been a teacher. :-) Question, beginning at 14:00, you show to pull up your bobbin after the zone has finished. Then do so once again in the very next step. Is there a reason for this? Or was it just an editing oopsie? I understand this video is 2 years old and you can't recall, but I want to make sure I understand. Thanks for any time you take. ~Becky Thompson, Power Tools With Thread
Hi Becky. Thanks for watching my video, I watch yours as well! I Love my Seam Ripper / Stiletto Combo; I got the pink one. I have gotten into the habit of pulling my bobbin thread to the top at the beginning and the end of a row/zone. I prefer all thread tails brought up to the top for trimming and burying unless it's off the side of the quilt. That way when I am finished with a quilt I only have to look on the top for stray threads. (But of course you know I check the back anyway!) Two years later I am still pulling up my bobbin thread, but avoiding using any buttons for "pull bobbin." I just use the "Single Stitch" in the red toolbox or at the top of the Quilting Interface screen, or wait until the needle does the first stitch of a pattern and swipe my top thread under the needle and that pulls up the bobbin thread just before the needle really gets going sewing the pattern. Hope this helps. If not, just email me TheQuiltedPoodle@gmail.com
You are a wonderful teacher. I have problems with the software freezing when doing the last row when you click the partial row. I understand that there are some bugs in this software. Any suggestions

Marie, at the end of the quilt/ video you showed how to clip some excess design. Is there a way to do this at the top? I’m finding I often have a lot of run offs at the top that I’d just as soon do without. Is it a case of just playing with my pattern size and spacing till I like the way the top of the pattern fits? I’ve just completed a quilt and for the first time felt very comfortable with the zone placement thanks to your video.
Without seeing the pattern you are using first easy fix is to place the pattern further down away from the top of the quilt. If your pattern has lots of open space in the design you could try vertical wrapping to fill in the blank spots. You could use eclipse to trip off the top of the pattern. This video used Power Panto so the pattern should be filled in with a partial row at the top of the pattern. The partial diamonds feature only works on the bottom of the quilt.
I post a link each month to the next Zoom class which meets the second Tuesday of each month. Here is The Quilted Poodle's FB page: facebook.com/TheQuiltedPoodle. I've had to take a couple weeks off due to my husband's hospitalization. Hopefully everything will go off without a hitch for the January 11th meeting. Give me a couple days to get it posted.
Hi Marie; I’m a new quilter. Just got a Q21 Pro with QCT5 Pro from Grace Co. will I be able to use your QCT5 Pro videos even though I don’t have a Juki?
@@debbiewilliams5681 Step #1 Measure the width of your quilt; not its location. Step #2 Hit the little black sewing machine it measures the center of the quilt that you measured in step #1. Your machine actually moves to the center of the measured quilt.
Hi, my zone management shows 4points and I cannot get it to center. It brings up the keyboard as if I should type something. Have you seen that before? This is the furthest I can get with this robotics. Help, please
This was so helpful. Thank you so much. You’re an excellent teacher.
Love your video tutorials - one of the few that use a Juki. You also speak slowly and clearly.
Thank you. I now do demos on Juki & Qnique. Let me know if you need to see anything else.
This is an excellent tutorial! You have given me the knowledge to actually start quilting. Thank you so much for all the info & clear instruction!!
You are welcome!

It's a lot easier when you have the steps. With the newest version of Power Panto, creating your pantograph is even easier.
Great detailed presentation, very helpful.

This video has helped me to learn this system even better than before. Hope you have more videos
Praise God! This is why I do it. Check out my real short videos called quilted poodle bites which deal with very short topics. Thank you again.

Yes, there are some slight differences from the Qnique to the juki but overall the software operates pretty much the same.
Do you have to put fabric on frame exactly matching center to center. (Center of fabric to center of frame)
I rarely do since I try to have a piece of practice fabric on the far end of my frame to try stuff.
So by hitting the sewing machine button that shows center??
@@debbiewilliams5681 Step #1 Measure the width of your quilt; not its location. Step #2 Hit the little black sewing machine it measures the center of the quilt that you measured in step #1. Your machine actually moves to the center of the measured quilt.
