I will show you how to load the SewTite Magnums flat metal guide into the pocket end of your leaders. I stitched to separate each metal guide in 6 inch increments. The Q'Nique Glide Spoon Foot is AMAZING!| The Quilted Poodle
Просмотров 1 тыс.6 месяцев назад
The Quilted Poodle reviewed the Q'Nique Glide Spoon Foot from QuiltFrog.com. I love the larger footprint of the spoon foot and the larger hole in the center of the foot. The curved foot glides easily over quilt tops with multiple intersecting seams. The curve of the foot prevents the foot from getting caught on the fabric's edge when moving on and off the fabric; even with a loftier batting. Us...

Marie, I wanted to thank you for the best instructional video for beginners. I have searched high and low and found many videos about start up, etc. but the majority assume the watcher already has some knowledge. I however, just purchased the 5 pro and it was like you knew exactly what I needed. Thank you SO much.
Happy to Help! Have fun with your new Toy!
I am a brand new Juki Miyabi owner with QCT6 and I have to agree with this. I've watched so many videos trying to learn and this has been the best one by far.
I am enjoying your videos on the downloading of files. Thank you for sharing, much to learn.
It comes in handy when My Creative Stitches has all their files for $5.00. I think it's right after Thanksgiving. Watch for their ad.
so thrilled I found your channel. I've had my longarm for over a year and can still not accomplish anything.
I have high hopes for you now that you're on the right software for your machine!
Thank you so much for this wonderful demonstration. I have purchased the Elite frame and Qnique 21. I have been on the fence about purchasing QCT 6. I have been simply afraid that automation was just too much for me to learn in my retirement years. You have given me the boost of confidence to move forward. Have a blessed day. ❤
@@pamelaramos7777 Go for it! Don't be scared away by what you read from people who are having problems with the software just remember when things are going well for people, they rarely mention it: it's only when something goes wrong people feel the need to vent. I am post-retirement so I know it's possible. Maybe you would like to take a private private class? Check out my website: www.QuiltedPoodle.com

I had no idea how much I needed to hear this session until I watched (while I am piecing a quilt, of course). Thank you so much, each and everyone of you; for sharing what’s in your hearts and how you have grown. Your information is very helpful! God bless. ❤ 1:15:19

I have a Surface Pro 8, with 16 GB RAM. I keep a lot of teaching stuff on this Tablet
@TheQuiltedPoodle what size is it
@@vickiemartinsen8600 the actual tablet measures 8" x 11"
Thank you for this video, it really helped to see this rather than just read it. I was ready to give up and sell the program! You can repair after a thread break - but how? You can end the program and start at the same place later - but how? These are questions that the manual does not answer in a clear enough way for a newbie.
You're Welcome, hope I helped.
great tutorial! Thanks
Marie, Thank you for this video. It has given me motivation to try again. a few years ago I had purchased the Hoop frame Pro , the 19 x Elite and QCT 5 Pro- after trying so many months with videos and instructions sent to me by the Grace people, I just stopped using the machine all together. Seeing your video has motivated me to try again- Thank you for the video and for helping me to be excited about using these products again.
I am so excited for you to try quilting again! Don't forget I teach virtually via Zoom with 1-on-1 classes curated to your needs and what you want to accomplish. You are the best. I thank you so much for all of your videos, they are among the best most understandable videos I’ve watched regarding QCT6. I have been learning on my own and the learning curve is steep for me because I am conquering a lot of firsts here…. Learning to use a tablet, navigate the information after I find it on the internet. Finding the best tutorials for my interest, let alone I just put this entire quilt machine and table and also the animation…… WOW. Oh yeah, I’ve never operated a quilt machine in my life, so yeah……….. Thank you miss quilted poodle !!! Your videos have taught me so much. I am waiting to purchase the gold program until everything else comes more naturally to me. Do you specialize in the gold program or do you have other tutorials from before you went gold also. BTW I love the name Quilted Poodle.❤ You take care and I will look for you again on RUclips. Thank you! Chellee B. 😊
Hi! I named my busness "Quilted Poodle," because I have 2 black standard poodles who are always near by when I'm sewing or quilting. So proud of you jumping in with both feet and putting your whole system together. I'm right there with you, a hands on person. I've moved mine quilting systems around quite a bit then finally re-locating in another state which meant taking them apart and putting them back together! It does get faster, but I know once is enough. I don't specalize in Gold Card videos, I tend to make videos on what people ask the most about. I also have almost 100 videos which are recordings from my Zoom classes which are unlisted on RUclips. The bonus of attending a Zoom class is access to the videos forever. Visit my website: Quiltedpoodle.com or request to join my FB page; facebook.com/groups/203150156999448 and you will see what I've been up to. I try to help people over the learning curve of QCT and have a little fun as well.
Amazing ! I just got my new juki long arm with this software and can’t wait to try this!!! Wonderful tutorial! Thanks for helping us newbies !!!
@@NanaT2016 Thank you. It really is fun, I can play with it for hours!
This is what I need right now on the quilt I am working on.
I'm starting to use more lofty batting and it really makes a difference as the hopping foot moves on and off the edge of the quilt. They ship pretty fast and of course I don't use it for everything, like attaching my binding on the longarm, I like the Square Foot attachment by the Grace Company. . .but everything else; but rulers LOL!
Thanks a million for this!

Love to all
I just had to sit back & let Mike do all the talking! Yes, he & his wife are Amazing with their dedication!
You have such a beautiful smile
Hi!😁
Hello, thank you for the tutorial, it got me started in Quilt Cad. I am having difficulty making my pattern continuous. I have both sides on the same plain, however, it is not working. Would you have any suggestions? Also, can you please tell me after you save the pattern, is it possible to go back in and edit or change it in any way? Thank you! You are an excellent teacher!!
With continuous line patterns, the starting point is on the left and the ending point is on the right, usually. If your ending point is on the left, add stitches that trace across your design to the right. (Does that makes sense?) Yes, you can edit your own patterns in Pattern CAD.
Can this foot go on a juki
Juki has their own spoon foot that looks very much like this one. That's what spoiled me, having a true spoon foot on my Juki.
Good video. Any chance of doing a version using a Mac Computer?
I may be doing one using an iPad which I just purchased. My Creative Stitches just gave a free coupon to each person in my monthly Zoom group and most of them use Quilters Creative Touch (QCT) software so I will be doing a refresh on downloading .CQP and converting to .GPF
i absolutely used quilting to help calm my days while my hubby was in Radiation Treatments. I feel that creating helps bring a positive spin to any day . :)
Yes, quilting and keeping my hands & mind busy helped pass the time while sitting with my husband during chemo.
Won’t allow an Australian shipping address ☹️
I will check and get back with you
So sorry, I have not heard anything back from QuiltFrog. I have a friend whose daughters live in Austraila and I know it is very expensive to ship there.
Thank you ordered one can't wait to try it!
I wondered about this foot. It looks bigger.
The plastic base is bigger, but the actual metal foot is the same as what I have in my set of feet for the 21x Elite
Thank you!!!!!
Tanks for the tutorial. When I go into pattern cad it does not show a grid. I have QCT 6 pro
From the choices along the top go to background then go down to grid and click there and that should turn on the grid in pattern cad. If you are in the other part of QCT, In OPTIONS turn on "show grid" under the quilting interface and panto stacker screen which are both down towards the bottom of the preference screen.
Thank you for the clear instructions and helpful video!
You're welcome, I tend to over explain sometimes.
