Ghostface was savage asf in this movie and that opening sequence was pretty EPIC. Easily the best opening in this franchise since the first movie IMO and I'm someone who loves the opening of Scream 2.
The actress was so GOOD!!! It was such a grown and sexy opening. Scary and so relatable!
Nothing can beat Scream 1s opening but this one is easily the next best. If scream had a 10 opening this one was like a 9.8. Amazing

Was going so good until the end. This franchise was already doing too many fake out deaths and this movie turned it up to 11. There were no stakes in this movie at all

Grandpa Ghostface was an entertaining villain tho
They set it up so anybody could come back alive which took weight from the "Death scenes".
The whole point of the movie was that the ending wasn’t gonna be what everyone expected you had to guess how it would end
I think Sam is a really interesting character especially after this movie, it's a good twist in the final girl type of character
A final girl possibly turning into the new killer. It's got potential. Let's hope they do something with it in 7.

The reveal was the worst part of the movie
My only issue is the same with scream 5 and that's too many people survived

Damn, people practically gutted and fine the next scene. Was enjoying it until the reveal and the acting took a huge plummet.
I enjoyed this installment not my favorite not my least favorite but I definitely had a good time.

Loved this movie! Felt like Halloween Kills vibes in certain ways and it did it for me!!!
I just got threw watching Scream VI and I thought that it was really good. All of the kills were way more gruesome and I loved them all!! I am happy to see that Skeet Ulrich made a cameo in both Scream 5 & VI and I am even more happier that Hayden Panettiere returned as Kirby too. I give this movie a 3 out of 5 stars!! One more thing, I loved seeing the shrine that was dedicated to all of the movies as well!!

Everything was so great except the ghostface reveal, I was quite disappointed. BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY 9/10 solid for me, if ghostface reveal was better then I would've gave it 10/10

I agree with you on Sam. The best characters for me in this movie was Tara and Chad. Chad for me was the best part of this movie.

This reminded me how good Scream can be. I love that they lean into the funny at times even though some brutal stuff is happening

Agreed on the twin sister, she’s annoying. I’m only really getting tired of the plot armor. A lot more people should have died especially with their injuries. That first piece of the puzzle you describe in the beginning. You’re right way way too easy to figure out
Plot armor has always been a thing in Scream and a lot of people surviving. It’s what makes “Scream” Scream.
The speed of the stabs ghostface had was it was glorious.
That one girl, getting stabbed in the belly button, really got me, not her gut, HER BELLY BUTTON!!
@TyroneMagnus Is there more than one killer in this one? Because in all of the other scream movies at the end it's reveal that there's was a least two killers. Which gives us one of the three most important rules to being in a horror movie - "There's always more than one killer"

The moment I heard the voice of a particular character, I immediately guessed it was Ghostface.
It would have been better if the detective went batshit crazy and also killed the daughter instead of him not killing her

Ghostface was more brutal but the reveal and motive was blah
The movie was too comical. Scream is supposed to be a satire but they exagerated it too much here, it almost felt like Scary Movie rather than Scream. Also, the reveal of the killers was awful. And that's saying something considering Scream 2022.
I guessed him, too because of the voice and it really clicked when the girl said how did your father end up on this case?
But they literally explained it right away and it didn’t seem unreasonable. He even offered to let it go and let somebody else handle it
