- Clay Aiken gives an amazing performance of "Solitare" at the Neil Sedaka tribute on October 26,2007, proving once again that he's not only capable of giving a brillant performance, but that he's also an incredibly accomplished performer. :) I hope you enjoy.
I was there that (very rainy) night!! Clay received one of only 3 standing ovations; one was for Connie Francis, one for Neil - of course - and one for Clay!!! And that was with other hugh greats of the music industry. Sadly, though, after Clay was finished singing he left. He mesmerized the whole audience that night with this performance. Just breathtaking.
After listening to Clay Aiken, I just can't listen to anyone else. His voice is so pure and and amazing! Unfortunately, those in the music industry overlook this talented man, maybe because he is too good!
All these years later I'm still a Claymate. He's the best.
This performance takes my breath away! No one can sing it any better than this! Beautiful, just beautiful!

I was at this special concert for Neil (and why he heck hasn't HE been nominted and voted into the R n R Hall Of Fame, yet??????). Only 3 performers received Standing Ovations from the concert-goers. Connie Francis, CLAY and, of course Neil. None of the other legends that performed did!!! Clay was just amazing. His performance made up for the horrid weather that night! (Will never, ever forget the harrowing pedi-cab ride over to Lincoln Center! LOL)

Well i got one who could match.. But sadly he have passed away from us.. Jan Werner Danielsen from Norway. Search for him in youtube and watch and listen to him melt your soul away. I recomend the song " Air" on the Nobel Consert. He was and for me is the King!!.
