For me, Nicholas was the standout. He had so much range and he portrayed such a wide variety of emotions and all of the sides of Lyle in this dramatization.

I feel like Nicholas has received an immense amount of hate due to his social media presence following the show so I, sure he is tip-toeing around questions to not say something to further engulf the flames. It kind of is sad seeing him not very happy or pleased in all of these interviews compared to the press he did prior to the show’s airing.

I don’t think we should be attacking Nicholas, even if what he said was in the wrong was is it going to do? He’s not the villain of this he’s just some guy, the person we should direct our frustrations at is Ryan Murphy and Netflix.
I should probably explain this but I’d recommend reading into it yourselves too, I’m just really tired because my college law classes are wrecking me atm. But a general summary of what I’ve seen is that he didn’t know about the brothers before the show which isn’t a sin by any means but it’s a red flag and he said some weird stuff with Javier Bardem about how this show was about generational trauma (Bardem said something like he admired Jose? 🤨 with Nicholas kind of agreeing.). There is more but I can’t recall it now, I’d just suggest watching interviews if you’re interested but he’s also definitely a victim of how poorly written Lyle was in the show in regard to actual facts and the final product is on Ryan Murphy’s shoulders for that because we can’t blame Nicholas Chavez for doing what he was told by a more powerful director in what most would consider his first big role of his career.
This is the 5th interview Ive seen asking the same questions, the actors seem forced to be serious and barely interact with each other they’re only sitting to answer. I know this is someone’s life story but the interviews could be a bit lighthearted and maybe ask something beside the same 3 questions they’ve been answering.

Hmmmmm Nicholas as Lyle did a lot of screaming and yelling but had more dialogue scenes yet Eric had a lot more emotional scenes plus that episode where he did 4-5 minutes straight in one take full of emotion takes skill.
The acting was absolutely brilliant. I loved the series. They made a really great job portraying all the possible theories. The fact that people are talking bad about the show because it doesn't portray only the theory they want to believe in, it tells you how small minded people can be. The truth is, we'll never know for sure what exactly was happening in that family. That doesn’t mean that the show wasn't great.

It’s not only the show. There is a docu of one of the original boys of Menudo who was S/A by Jose Menendez. There are other witnesses also.
TBH, I believe Lyle and Erik have been in prison long enough. Save the tax payers $$$ and release them from prison.
The only problem that I have with Ryan Murphy's true crime series is that he always sexualize the killers. It happened on ACS Versace and Dahmer.

I was outstanding acting from the whole cast and deserves the accolades it's receiving. It was also a play on the word "monsters"..who were the monsters? In my view the parents. Should it have been 1st degree murder? imho No. And there is the other tragedy of this whole saga...
