He seemed to have his guard up in earlier interview because of the backlash Ryan Murphy created by portraying Lyle inaccurately. It’s not fair that Nicholas has to feel bad because his acting was so amazing and he was only working with the script he was given!!
Yes I noticed the exact same!! And to the commenter above me-I think you’re right-it seems that he’s already probably been undergoing some hardcore PR bootcamp after the first couple of interviews. It sucks, because there IS SUCH THING as actors who are shy in real life when they’re being themselves…but to make it on THIS level in the business, you have to have the charisma that Cooper exudes. I mean, it’s not necessary to be AS good as he seems to naturally be, but it’s def going to help him with getting some big time jobs after this. And that’s not to say Nic won’t also have big opportunities after this limited series that was so captivating BECAUSE of the cast, and how each actor was so insanely IN every single moment. Twas captivating, oye say! Omg lolz who am I. Alsoooo-Nic is the younger of the two of them, and it adorably kind of seems like Cooper took on the role of the talker when it came to general questions so that Nic only had to address questions directed specifically at him. But this time he was jumping in and seemed to be having fun with it for the first time!! His posture was much more at EASE here, as opposed to that stiffness that seemed to go all the way up through his neck in previous interviews (one of the main reasons I think he’s had some crisis PR training, actually haha). Let's set aside any disagreements about the series, but Nicholas's acting was sensational and outstanding. Both of them were amazing, the whole cast was great, but Nicholas was truly exceptional! His character was not easy to interpret, very complex with mood swings, and in my opinion, he did a fantastic job.

Thank you, obviously, Cooper shines, but I feel like the other actor isn’t giving as much phrases. I think he deserves, he really brought a walk to the role, and while Eric plays the more relatable and sensitive one, while does a great job of portraying a psychopath, I think he is a very smart kid. You can tell , I’m mean just how different he is from his character in the show. It shows he has a great actor, and has a great technique, Eric is obviously kind of the main character, and one we sympathize with more , but Lyle brings a lot of flair and fun, and really drives a lot of the action and interest of the show in my opinion
The best part of the show was watching these two on the screen.. Love when directors cast non-A-list celebrities to play roles and let us fall in love with new actors /people. I can’t wait to watch what comes next from them! 10/10 casting.
Anyone who knows Nicholas and his background knows how humble he is and how blessed he feels. This man just turned 24 or 25. He is cerebral, kind and emphatic. He is staring because he is open to learning for his craft. Anyone who watched GH knows he is iconic for his age and a very cerebral actor. Can’t watch this young man grow.
Nicholas was very guarded at first interview, now he seem to be more at ease. He is very disciplined, so it doesn’t surprise me, the way in which he conducts himself in this and any particular interview pertaining to the movie. So proud of this young actor.
I loved the show, but is a hard ride.. I mean, you never watch monsters expecting for a happy ending, altough you wish the end was a happy one. I had the same feeling with Dahmer, how people can destroy their lives and other people lives..it is sad
Which is funny cause the real lyle is very calm and laid back, how I see nicholas in these interviews would have been good in the show. Don't get ryan making him loud and yelling so much
I do not judge Nicholas. Every time Monsters is released, the main actors receive a lot of recognition but also receive backlash from people who do not separate fiction from reality. This case is more delicate than Dahmer because the brothers are alive and you have people who support them and people who do not. Also, picking sides is risky
Exactly, and he is more reserved since he is an actor who comes from the bottom, he literally sold (I don't know, if it was car insurance or cars) but he did all kinds of jobs. I support Nich in his decisions and answers (very accurate), it is not easy to get to where he has gotten to
ive been saying this omgggg its too relevant and too controversial. Honestly, when it comes to making a show like this you want to please the public (because how else would you generate revenue?) whilst respecting the victims. With Dahmer, not only is he dead, the case was completely different. But nobody truly knows the true intentions of the murders except the brothers, so trying to kill two birds with one stone, just makes a big risky and controversial situation for the actors, the brothers, and Ryan murphy.
Yesss Nicholas and Cooper speaking about the miscarriage of justice the brothers faced in the second trial!!! So glad that these actors are using their platform to bring this up. I wish they asked nicholas more questions😅
This is an amazing show!!!!!!
how great is this interview! love it. great job for all of 4 people
Amazing interview! Chuckled when the interviewer called Nicholas Lyle because I would’ve done the same lol but it just goes to shows how amazing their acting was!
I wanna see them together on another showwww !!!!!
Both did a really good job. But, no matter how good of an actor, I could not see the real pain that I saw on Erik's face on the stand, on Cooper's face and same for Lyle and Nick. That is why I always say the brothers genuinely were telling the truth, cause those emotional moments on the stand were absolutely real. They were not in a million years acting.
Incredible job in the series, really.
they are both amazing actors 💞💞
