Hey man Im 21, Im homeless, and Ive been in this postion since I turned 18. I made my mistakes. But I recently decided for the first time, a plan, and what I wanted to do. While I move back to my home state and get a 9-5 to fund this, I decided to work on making my own mobile detailing. Your videos have been so incredibly helpful Im glad you decided to upload videos because your the right guy. And I gotta say man, the description helped me out a ton, you gave us the literal way man. All the tools you use, even the link to how you made your website. This is so helpful you have no idea how much you have helped me. Thank you so much man. I am finally happy becuase for once in my life I have a plan and hope. And you made my process so much easier and Im so beyond grateful for these videos. Thanks so much man❤🙏🏼
Also one question, could you tell us approximately how much time it takes to close up shop for the day, or prepare for the day ahead, and what that might entail. Just curious from a time perspective to see how much time I may take up doing all that.
@FIjnt Hey man hope you’re doing well and figured your situation out. Did you ever start up the detailing business? If so hope it’s goin good and if not keep working towards it brother keep the dream alive!
More than impressed by your truck/ work/attitude. What a beautiful set up in that truck. I'm just an old guy trying to do the best job I can on my own vehicles and I appreciate all the tips and advice. Subbed for ya.
My dad's been an auto detailer for years. I would recommend eagle one detailing spray. It's a navy blue and gray can, you can use it on all the plastics and metal in the interior after you clean the inside of the vehicle. We use a clean paintbrush to go back and tone it down. When I help my dad it brings out the black alot more and gives it a settle gloss like a brand new look and it really doesn't look greasy unless you really cake it up .
Bro it was all big items like I could understand if it was chip bags or something but look bro you are cleaning a car that's what you are getting paid to do. Like are you gonna be upset because there was mud on just one tire like wtf. 😂 this kind of thing is super simple it just amazes me how someone can want to create a buisness and then feel entitled to wanna charge more for no reason I would rather charge a flat rate and wash more cars than look like a fool charging a premium and doing 4 cars a day😂 and still complaining on top of that😂
I can’t lie , I expected this to be another mediocre detailing video but you did a very professional job and very good talking and explaining everything to the camera. This video made me subscribe
Just thought I'd comment, I really love your attitude, I've started a mobile detailing business in my area (literally as of 2 days ago), already got my first customer lined up for this Saturday. Your video has been a huge inspiration for me and gives me real positive vibes, keep doing what you're doing!
Great job on this Lexus Wayne and team. I hope the new staff member works out for you and is able to help you expand at your own pace. Detailing is a beautiful business. Glad to see you win and hope for more success in the future.
Great job friend only a little advice if you dont mind, its good two have two deferent buckets one with soapy water to wash the car the other seperately to rinse the dirty rag before diping it again in the clean soapy water its easy to pick up dirt particles and scratch the paint.just a tip friend that is a realy nice set up you have.Blessings😊
I completely unders5and how you love doing details. I tell people all the time that I love cleaning cars and that I think it is fun, they look at me confused
Yes Wayne, I tell my clients to remove all personal items from the vehicle. If they have excessive trash I would charge an additional $10 because you just never know what dirt you can be handling.
@@TropTrevTv if there’s a lot of stuff I will vacuum first so I don’t blow stuff all over. It’s really good to bring up the stuff that a vacuum can’t get.
Im grabbing my equipment today and will be practicing on my car and my cousins car then ill be getting the real buisness going. Thank you for the inspiration
My favorite part is probably the dash area but my most favorite is rims and tires at the end, and yes knee pads are a plus!!! I’m 39 and landscaper full time only detail on weekends so I gotta have those knee pads bro!👍🚘
Great video. I started the old school way scrubbing every inch of the car including the tracks that the seat sit on. Still do it that way Just a little bit better equipment now. But I ask all my customers to remove all personal items from the vehicle. The only thing to leave in is the stuff that came with the car when you bought it. Anything that is left in center console or glove compartment I go around I just don't even touch that area. After the first time they do it they'll make sure they take it out the next time if they want it cleaned
Good tips I've got top that might help you out. If you section the vehicle you will get greater area coverage without the in and out. Example: do the area the driver sets because it will be the nastiest. Clean that whole area before moving to the back. This improves time and effectiveness. Work on the processes and reduce man power and hours. Great video Hope this helps
Man I've been watching your videos.... and Damn your getting really good at it you come a long way man, and so chill now than b4 lol your more relax keep it up brother...
I agree spray and wipe is not a good option for a new customer. I love doing what the driver can see the most. Plastic pics and brushes and the scrubber so the dash, radio area and door panels blow there mind when they see it. I also enjoy the engine bay. The before and after pictures tell everything about the work you do. My motorcycle club brother let me borrow his busted up 09 charger. The car was in a country type area. The outside is hammered from getting in accidents. The interior was covered in Northern California clay dust and dirt. I blew it out did a quick wipe down and then went to town. I started off plastic picks for all the door panels, dash and center console. I was excited to try the slime stuff I ordered that you just push into the area. Considering how dirty the ac/heater vents were I was amazed how clean they were just by pushing and lifting one time. Then came back with the chemical guys interior cleaner (I’m not using P&S on a free job) with my brushes. Pressure washed the door jams and cleaned the leather. My wife actually got upset when she came to look at my work. “Why don’t you do this to my car?” I would if she didn’t pay for a membership to Quick Quack car wash. But letting her do that was a plan. Now I have a hammered maxima sv that I can use to show why not to use drive through car washes and how I can fix the paint that the car wash turfed. Not to mention that the car wash half way ripped off her front license plate. Good thing I do autobody for a living and was able to get it flattened back out and told are you ready to cancel it now and let me take care of it? 😂
I haven't bought into the Tornador yet, I just usually spray a ligh mist of upholstery cleaner and drill brush the carpet before vacuuming. Works just as well and I don't have to waste time on a extra step but hey as long as it's working for you brotha.
Can’t knock it until you try it I was the same way. Then I realized it actually cut time. And also I was able to get things I wasn’t about to with this tool.
my favorite part is applying a ceramic coating. dunno why but it's very satisfying . I like scrub ninja for steering wheel and flat surfaces but for the seats I would advise using a dedicated set of perforated leather brushes that get into the tiny holes in seats..the scrub ninja doesn't do that..brushes do. other than that... you the man. thanks
Bruh, you on point sir. It's mandatory that my customers remove anything of value and anything that's not trash. I throw away EVERYTHING!! and I make sure the customer is aware of that. I used to use a hand brush but that take too damn long 😆 🤣. I enjoyed this video. Stay on the scene sir. God bless.
I definitely think all big objects should be taken out the vehicle before detailing. I did a car yesterday and mannnnnn it was so many items I had to remove before I begin so I charged a extra 10$
It’s crazy how you start with knowing nothing, to actually being what’s up. I’m at the stage of. Doing numbers and getting it brother. Melbourne, AUSTRALIA.
We do charge extra for removing depending on much it is $10-15. Just to set the standard, we can take trash out but you can take out your personal items or atleast move them around for us!
Yes, belongings should be picked up before you get there. Yes I always let my customers know there’s a charge if I have to remove anything from a vehicle time is money and when it’s time.
Good evening sir I'm replying to your comment about your air compressor cutting off and you having to wait a few minutes that's because your generator is not large enough to keep it running once the air compressor cuts off the generator needs to be at least 8500 Watt or you can buy a air tank that's called Master blaster it sells for about $400 but it works very well
Great tips!! My favorite thing is cleaning leather and blowing it with some air, leaving a nice, natural finish😌😌. You should get some goggles though, those chemicals dry out the eyes like crazy! 😅

When you set up the appointment, I always say, "Avoid extra charges by taking out personal items and removing trash too large to vacuum." If they don't do it, charge 'em. For me, it's $30.
My full detail includes no leather deep cleaning or conditioning, just a wipe down deep clean is an upcharge also we only spot clean carpet and fabric seats once again deep clean is extra. Just how we do it and it works.
Gotta say, I was hoping you spoke about and showed EVERY step. For example I don't know if you rinsed the exterior first then pre-wash foam or just car shampoo. I did enjoy the video though.
I have a question, respectfully do you ever worry someone might sue you for something going wrong with a detail? Such as an electrical switch or something like that? Thank you! I appreciate you teaching me some strong points. Those knee pads are 🔑.
Ive recently done a full interior on a vehicle. It was a truck and that had so much trash in it. I mean beer cans, empty cig packs, the guy hunts and there was bullet casings. A lot of personal belongings. I probably could have finished the job in 2ish hours but it took 3. There was also broken glass and jello all over the front seat 😂 thats another story. But anyway i dont charge extra for it. They usually tip when its that bad but i know the guy so 🤷
@5:50 I never heard of that Ninja Brush pad but I'm definitely going to order one. My favorite thing is having the wheels and tires looking official. New sub and stay bless ✌🏾
I always wash my cars from top to bottom. The bottom is always the dirtiest parts. You dont want to grab dirt from the bottom then bring the wash towel/mitts back up top. But thats just me. You ALWAYS vacuum FIRST I am up on game gang I got the black one with the solution tank has better metal stem inside the Tornador which is stronger those ruber ones get worn out after awhile
Center consoles, wheels & tires are my favorite parts to clean. Usually they’re the more dramatic before and afters.
I love detailing tires

Them knee pads are most definitely needed 💯. Me being 6’3 cleaning wheels or under seats without knee pads is crazy
It seems incredibly lazy of the vehicle's owner(s) not to at least remove the trash. I'd be embarrassed. Lol
Ong id give everything a quick pickup before just leaving the actual things they need to clean nothing of mine 😂

Interiors are the best part for sure. Getting that clean and fresh is a breath of fresh air
Them scrub ninjas are a game changer! Definitely a key tool to interior details 🔥
Transformation of rims and tires has always been my favorite

Hard work pays off. Glad to see your business thriving.
My favorite part of cleaning my vehicles is the engine detail. Spray, scrub spray, blow, done. Too easy not to love.
Yes Wayne, I tell my clients to remove all personal items from the vehicle. If they have excessive trash I would charge an additional $10 because you just never know what dirt you can be handling.
I do the same. And if they don't empty cubbies and compartments I just clean around them. But having to empty people's stuff is my biggest pet peeve.
Tornador is my #1 tool along with the steamer. The metal cone for the Tornador I feel took it up another level.
What type of air compressor is best for the tornador
@@2Shine55 it has requirements on the website/on the box but I just use one I got at harbor freight for like 150
Does it not make a mess blowing all over ? If it’s a really caked up car inside

Fav part about detailing, the paint. There is just something about seeing the swirly dullness come to life with some finesse and Rupes Uno

Just tried the P&S Defender. Man. It’s amazing. So shiny ! Did a full sized sedan and only used an ounce. I used an applicator pad to apply.
For me bro, my favorite part is the foam cannon. It's so satisfying.
That said, the work and magic come from the interior.
Thanks for tips bro.
Awesome. I’m a beginner and a pastor so I do it on the side and I’m learning a lot

The best part of detailing for me is when you finish deep cleaning the interior and you apply the dressing to the plastics and make them pop😮💨

Hi
Can i ask for whats the best method of washing a car in my circumstances
Things i will use
1. Only Ph neutral soap
2. I have wash mitts & microfiber towels
3. I will not use foam canon
Methods I'm considering to use
A. 1 bucket no grit, multiple microfiber/wash mitts
B. 1 bucket no grid guard, 1 wash mitts and pressure wash the mits after ever panel
Or should a grit guard is a must for a car wash without foam cannon?
Extractions is the best part
Yes you do
You ALWAYS vacuum FIRST I am up on game gang I got the black one with the solution tank has better metal stem inside the Tornador which is stronger those ruber ones get worn out after awhile
