I too had no idea. I thought they were still just the eBay of parts, but it's been years for me. Lego is like a drug. I can't own any or I'll spend tens of thousands of dollars again.
ADP is such a great collaboration of AFOL builders, Bricklink. and LEGO! Great tour of not only the scope of this massive project but also the time and efforts put towards it. Thanks for sharing BtB!!!
I really hope the ADP continues. It was a wonderful recognition to the creativity of custom designers. It should be annual, there’s no question about that. Hopefully the higher profile in subsequent years gets more community involvement, and better marketing (higher production values in the initial model videos in particular) lead to a clearer picture of what you are buying. The Beyond the Brick videos have sold the ADP better than BrickLink themselves in my opinion.
Being a wheelchair user I couldn't help noticing the random wheelchair just hanging around lol. I'm Just getting into Lego again, at the grand old age of 46, I've been browsing Bricklink and Brickset for a while, wasn't expecting the set up to be this big and professional!!
That warehouse could have done with being racked out, the company that leases that space would have happily done that for them, would have made organising so much easier, still an amazing setup, but could definitely have been improved.
The extras will all be sent back to the LEGO Group in Billund, but we will keep a few parts of each lot in the BrickLink office to handle requests for missing or damaged parts.
Wishful thinking. :) All of these elements will go back to the LEGO Group in Billund, except for a few we are keeping for customer service purposes (missing parts).
I bet lego bought bricklink cuz of this video they seen how much money bricklink has with the office and the warehouse and was like wait these guys are not small we need to just buy them since it is a market we havnt really been doing
The decision has been made to send them back to the LEGO Group in Billund. All leftover parts will be shipped back except what we need for customer service (missing parts).
Hey I ordered a lego ninjago Cole pilot minifigure and it's taking too long to ship it's been 13 days already and the last time I talked to the seller it's was the 28th of August can ya plz help me
this is why I am happy lego bought bricklink cuz leho was losing alot of money by not selling their old own product and allowing bricklink to sell their old product instead
Someone need to make the guy talking the most in the blue shirt go see a doctor....I'm seriously worried about his health, as the video progression he breathes harder and harder and the life is gone out of his face and eyes, almost like he just played a full NBA game or something
why did lego send bricklink lego instead of just making another company that does the same thing and sells bricks smh that is just stupid and crazy I truly hope they sold the bricks cuz that is a huge amount of money lego would be losing and would be part of why they are losing money smh cuz huge moc builders spend thousands on mocs
We have recently decided to send all the extra parts back to the LEGO Group in Billund. Only a few parts will remain in California for customer service purposes.
That's exactly what we knew we were NOT going to do from the very beginning. All leftover parts will be sent back to the LEGO Group in Billund, except for a few of each lot we will keep to handle missing parts requests.
I seriously tought that the Bricklink website was ran out of someone’s basement and that the rest was like Ebay
Based on the support you'd think so ...
wow i didnt expect this huge place for bricklink

Incredible! The ADP has been amazing. I am very satisfied with the sets I got. Thanks Bricklink and LEGO for making this happen!
Wow first reply 1 year later
I don’t get it. You can buy sets or parts from bricklink? I mean from
Bricklink itself and not from someone else through bricklink?
So MANY LEGOS! I COULD BUILD A HUGE LEGO CITY WITH ALL THAT!

A great insight of the work which went into the ADP. Thanks for showing us around 👍
The question is: did they expect to have so many leftover pieces?
How cool! Thanks for giving us this look behind the scenes!
Amazing it’s like a candy store but than Lego. It’s childhood memories when I watch this. Amazing 🤩
Being a wheelchair user I couldn't help noticing the random wheelchair just hanging around lol. I'm Just getting into Lego again, at the grand old age of 46, I've been browsing Bricklink and Brickset for a while, wasn't expecting the set up to be this big and professional!!

Let me open the box like a savage. Lol
Man that looks like such a cool place to work 😆
That warehouse could have done with being racked out, the company that leases that space would have happily done that for them, would have made organising so much easier, still an amazing setup, but could definitely have been improved.
That guy was winded opening one box.
I want to rob this warehouse
I’ll take the extras!!!

Wow 😮
So large, yet to bad in customer service and communication.
smh bricklink prices can be super crazy some times and its usually cheaper to buy the whole set vs just the peices
I want to go there and just take a bunch of peices
Damn that cool
Nice, I want AK47 Lego, so I can build it and hang it on the wall. In fact I want Lego sets, which can be hanged on the wall, like Mona Lisa
Just deliver all those boxes of LEGOs to my house
Wishful thinking. :) All of these elements will go back to the LEGO Group in Billund, except for a few we are keeping for customer service purposes (missing parts).

I hate that Bricklink allows scammers! No respect for rhe costumers 😕
my friend spends around 13,000$ on LEGO bricks from BrickLink.
LEGO masters guy
Someone need to make the guy talking the most in the blue shirt go see a doctor....I'm seriously worried about his health, as the video progression he breathes harder and harder and the life is gone out of his face and eyes, almost like he just played a full NBA game or something
Boone
Back when they thought this was a good idea... Stay in your lane, BrickLink.
why did lego send bricklink lego instead of just making another company that does the same thing and sells bricks smh that is just stupid and crazy I truly hope they sold the bricks cuz that is a huge amount of money lego would be losing and would be part of why they are losing money smh cuz huge moc builders spend thousands on mocs
The leftover pieces will be sent back to LEGO.

We have recently decided to send all the extra parts back to the LEGO Group in Billund. Only a few parts will remain in California for customer service purposes.
@@LEGO-BrickLink oof feelsbad its just bricks are so expensive
george lucas
They are bricklink ,isnt it obvious what to do with left over parts.........sell them cheap to all us.
That's exactly what we knew we were NOT going to do from the very beginning. All leftover parts will be sent back to the LEGO Group in Billund, except for a few of each lot we will keep to handle missing parts requests.
LEGO buy bricklink :)
If TLG bought Bricklink, I could imagine them shutting BL down in order to maintain a monopoly on the sale of parts and other LEGO made items.
Just ordered loads of parts from here to build my Johnny 5 robot 👍🏻
WOW! 🔥
