  • New for 2022. Nice little guitar, I think it may sound better from the players perspective via the Port on the side :D

    I have listened to many audio examples and have seen many videos about this guitar. I couldn't try it for myself because I'm left handed and where I live the music shops are so scarce. Most users say it is a thin, crisp and cold sounding guitar. I ordered it, it arrived and it looks so beautiful. Huge, harmonious sound! Very bright, bright, but it retains the typical timbre of a gibson acoustic guitar very well. Lots of dynamics. When you play the strings it seems to come out such a voluminous and defined sound, as if the guitar, the woods and the strings resonated a lot. Great guitar in my opinion. How do you think friend? And anyway thanks for the review, your channel rocks! 🤘

      "thin, crisp and cold sounding guitar" That sums up what I'm hearing (with my own ears) across a bunch of review channels. I wanted to like this guitar but, it's not for me. Glad you like yours! I'm just not in a place in my guitar purchasing life where this is a good choice for me. I was hoping to get that "Gibson sound" on the cheap but this doesn't quite cut the cheese. Maybe it sounds better in person.

    Another great demonstration, thanks for posting. Do you use the same pick in all your videos? Which brand and thickness if you don't mind. Cheers!

    I have a G-45 Studio and the G-00 Generation. Both excellent guitars and I actually prefer them over my Taylor 814ce…

      Could you elaborate? What do you like better about the Gibsons ? How is the extra sound hole ?

    • @AndEis93
      @AndEis93 Год назад

      @@mikelanzafame3401 My Taylor is a louder more powerful sounding guitar. However. my two Gibson acoustics have a sweeter tone that I prefer. The walnut provides a very clear, crisp tone. You can hear all of the individual notes when strumming a chord. It's all individual preference, but while my taylor 814ce is a great guitar, I just prefer the tone of my 2 Gibson acoustics.

      @@mikelanzafame3401 The extra sound hole on the G-00 and the rest of the generation series makes a difference. I love the player port... I'd like all my guitars to have one.

      I wouldn't say that. I don't think I'd go out and buy one at the moment but it's totally serviceable.

      @@ryanbloom1738 I own the first G-45 Studio. I think Gibson realize these guitars are too value for the money, and they discontinued it. Now, they sell this new G-45 with playerport, but the buid material quality is not so good as the original G-45 Studio/Standard. Also, the new G-45 have no pickup at all, no binding, and they provide gigbag instead hardshell case. I upgrade my guitar with LR Baggs Anthem, bone saddle and pins, and redwood arm rest. With these upgrades my G-45 Studio is almost the same guitar as J-45 Studio Walnut. Maybe even better because of Anthem. But for half of the price 😬 I was so lucky because I had a chance to buy one of the last G-45 Studio in Europe 2 years ago.
