Normandy, it is the only one I've played. I have played the whole campaign. North Africa may change that when I start playing it in the next month or so.
was so happy when I won a contest for the original undaunted! this looks amazing, love the idea of branching narrative campaign. another great video Paul!
Its a summers day to hear you describe the games. Even games that is harder to understand, You Paul, make its easy to adept. Very good work, at always, on this one. Im Swedish and did understand it totally clear.
Really amazing explanation of the rules, honestly I've always been checking a video of the game before I dive into the rulebook to easy the process and get faster on the table. You manage with this video not to touch the rulebook, only on specific occasions to check something that I wasn't sure or remembering correct. The rules explained and afterward having watch the 2p setup and playthrough was incredible. Thanks for your time and effort on what you're doing, and keep doing it like that. 👌👌
Was a little concerned since I’m not a war gamer but the two videos y’all did on Undaunted Stalingrad were great and we had a fun first experience in part because of your clear instruction. Thanks!
Yeah, I'd like to do more of these. I even did one for Endless Winter, but the audio was a problem, so had to re-record it and felt it was easier to do it on my own for that one
Great video. Please can you clarify the Control action. If the other player already controls a tile which I have scouted then I know my rifleman cannot take control of that tile while the other player has an unrouted unit in that tile, but can I still use the control action in that situation to flip the other player’s control token back to the Scouted side ( ie so that neither player now controls the tile)? That’s how I read the rules but your explanation implies that you can’t do this.
Paul, I am creating some holders for the unit tokens. Do you mind measuring their thickness or comparing it with Normandy ones. In Reinforcements the unit tokens thickness was a bit lower than the original ones. Thanks.
@@GamingRulesVideos Thanks a lot, perfect, that is the same as the original ones. The ones from Reinforcements are around 1.5mm each, at least the copy I got.
This was great.... quick question on the inspire action. Can you inspire a different unit or does it have to be the one you've just used? For example, if you played Rifleman A, but you want to inspire Machine Gunner A, can you if they are in the discard pile?
Thanks for this great video. I have a question about the rule you explain at time code 18:20. I understand what you're saying well enough. While the old rule from Normandy felt logical and right, this seems a bit weird. Is there a logical reason for this rule change to do with the campaign? If not, then do you have any thoughts on why they changed it?
The two people at the table had never played before, so this was me teaching them how to play, and afterwards, they were able to play it ok, so my teach can't have been that bad :)
What is your favourite game in the Undaunted series?
Reinforcements!
Hopefully, this one!
Normandy, it is the only one I've played. I have played the whole campaign. North Africa may change that when I start playing it in the next month or so.
I would say Stalingrad since it can be played in a campaign mode !
I've only played Normandy and Stalingrad, but very definitely the latter... It is awesome!

Thank you! I work really hard on these and put a lot of time and effort into them, so I'm glad when people find them useful.
Thanks for the very clear rules explanation. I look forward to picking up a copy of this when it comes into the shops.
Why don't we sneak away for a weekend somewhere and play the campaign together :)
@@GamingRulesVideos Haha. Mrs Rules! might not approve!
Thank you Paul. will watch it again after I received my copy of the game
Let me know how your game goes.

Just ordered mine! I was just wondering how you reset the game. Thanks😊

Thanks Paul! This is amazing.
Thank you on continuing to make games in this series!
Nice! I really like this style when you actually teach people at the table, it works great! :)
Yeah, I'd like to do more of these. I even did one for Endless Winter, but the audio was a problem, so had to re-record it and felt it was easier to do it on my own for that one
This channel is invaluable!, thanks!! This deckbuilding mechanic and campaign look incredibly engaging!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great how to play video Paul... Thank you
Thank you Paul, this is a great teach for a great game !

Amazing. Thanks as always, my friend!
The big problem with this is that I'm not sure I want to play the others in the series any more :)
@@GamingRulesVideos So true!!!!!

10 of them stacked up is 2cm high

Nice video, routing sounds like a fun rule, one NEED more riflemen then (always more )?
Yep. I like the "routing" change to the rules.

It can be any unit, but if the Inspire action specifies a squad, it has to be from that squad.
I was playing this game and the rule book kept referring to the “play area,”;does anyone know what that is?
Just an area in front of you where you play cards during your turn.
@@GamingRulesVideos thanks!
Thanks for this great video.

It's a good point, but you'd have to ask the designers why they implemented the change. It does take a bit of getting used to.

Hello!
What do you think about other attac action?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.
How complex would you say this is? My son loves armies is all. 😂
14.5 golden otters
Sir you're all over the place as you talk. Sorry but this is a bad tutorial video, we just ended up going through the rulebook ourselves
Sorry you didn't like it. Other people found it useful, but different people prefer different styles.
The two people at the table had never played before, so this was me teaching them how to play, and afterwards, they were able to play it ok, so my teach can't have been that bad :)
What an awful guide, they PAID you to do this? You didn't go over any of the campaign mechanics. 0/10
Sorry you didn’t find it useful. The publisher specifically asked me not to cover any of the campaign rules in the video.
