Love this theory. Another detail to support it: The poneglyphs were made in Wano but we still have no clue from what material. What if the material for the poneglyphs originates from the Pluton cloud? That would explain why it cannot be replicated.
Main feature of poneglyphs is that they are indistructible, emperor cloud is not indistructible at all. And why would shipwrights from waters even who are famous for there ship building skills build a cloud and that too how.
If pluton = imperial cumulus control, then wano = imperial cumulus source. What else is uniquely from Wano? Sea Prism stone. What else? Poneglyphs, which like imperial cumulus, do not erode. It's kind of romantic, but the idea of Japan literally having something that could both stop time and prevent any visitors makes enormous sense from a historical standpoint.

I think it's pretty likely that the water being held within Wano's borders is actually the cloud Pluton that rained so much that it became just that - the rainwater. This sealed Pluton away so no one else could use Pluton in it's cloud form. Also, there is probably a lot more to the "opening Wano's borders" than just the fact that Pluton gets released. There has to be a way for the cloud to be formed again and it's likely going to be dependent on Gear 5 Luffy to make that happen.

The gold in Wano would be at ground level or usually beneath. Since Wano hasn't been at ground level for a long time that would explain why they say there isn't gold there anymore. The gold could still be there, it's just the mines are under all the water. Also ships that fly, I'd say go with that direction.

Also worth noting that the arc where we learned a lot about the Pluton, Water 7, we also saw how devastating the power of storms and excess water. The Aqua Laguna is absurdly powerful and dangerous. Destroying the borders of Wano and unleashing all that water would likely raise the One Piece world's sea levels, which could be devastating. Also, based on what we saw from the destruction of Lulusia, it seems that the WG has some devastating weapon in the clouds. If the Pluton or counter Pluton is a ship meant to use a huge amount of dance powder to disperse clouds, it could easily be the counter to the WG cloud weapon.
I don't think the worlds oceans would rise with the trapped water on Wano. Certainly it is a lot of water but the ocean is many times more massive and would barely notice this rise over a large distance.

So under wano, pluton is a sleeping super sea turtle, which also relates to zunesha as the model of the world turtle is described as 4 elephants on a turtle back holding up the world. So the three shadows in the florian triangle are the other 3 of zuneshas herd. I think maybe the counter pluton could relate to dance powder, which can affect the skies and create floods, aka to fish tank old wano and drown it out lol.

The emperor cloud sounds exactly like what happened at Lulusia. The sky grew really dark and the beams came out of a cloud. But that wouldn't make sense, since Pluton is supposedly still at the bottom of Wano.
I think its a fact that the water is fresh in wano. Consider the koi fish who survive in fresh water. I think Robin mentions that the city is well preserved because there is a lack of seawater which would cause it to decay. Fresh water may not be a preservative, but it certainly wouldn’t DAMAGE the city structures. I think that the only reason why the borders need to open is that no create can reach Pluton due to the pressure of the water at that depth. By opening the borders the water level would fall, allowing someone like a fishman to activate the Pluton. I don’t the the purpose of the walls was ever to close off the border, I think wano used to be a dessert island in ancient times, and resurrected the walls in wano to store the water they got from rain. Or used the fresh water to create island clouds from the mountain. Later it was used as a deterrent when the WG won the ancient war.

We were given a theory or possible explanation for emperor cloud from cricket. Pagaya told us what it was made out of. There are sea clouds, island clouds and clouds that people travel from island to island, which is weatheria. Now we have vegapunk made their own clouds. While we have many instances of these cloud, the actual creation and timeline for it has not been explained. As for the pluton aspect, the not released yet was explained in the video towards the end
Well something I thought about during this video is that spirits are closely associated with water. Ghost have increased paranormal activity when it rains and also fog is just clouds formed at low altitude which is also associated with the ghost and other paranormal activity. Following the concept that anything that exists could be made into a weapon, and seeing that cloud and weather manipulation is being featured at an increasing rate, and considering that the Vegapunks are researching heavily into weather manipulation and ancient kingdom technology. It could very well be that the ancient weapon Uranos is actually a giant floating island size weather manipulation machine whose output was maxed out to point it can destroy islands in the blink of an eye. Just a machine that was probably originally intended to be used for terraforming or as aid during extreme weather conditions.

Could Pluton be Mt. Fuji or Wano itself? A volcano could essentially act as a massive canon, just like the one used by Crocodile to create artificial rain, for spreading dance powder and perhaps it can only be loaded/used once Wano's borders are opened (maybe the water needs to be drained from the canon). Also, depending on what one intends to fire through it, it could be used to create sky islands (by loading it up with pyrobloin materials, which may themselves come from volcanic material). Naturally, Mt. Fuji could be on top of a bed of magma (though it is unclear if there is any left) that could have been used to construct the poneglyphs or to just erupt. In terms of setting directions for the mountain to shoot at, maybe if the water is vacated from Wano, it will float up as if you just emptied a bucket. Perhaps this will reveal Wano to be mobile in some sense, like a pirate ship. After all, I doubt a collection of islands was pulled together from the bedrock and above, it seems that each part of Wano is only the surface of other islands, meaning that it need not be ground all the way down to the sea floor. If this is true, then Mt. Fuji could literally be a canon that one could tilt in different directions and shoot in order to destroy things, produce sky islands, or produce rain. It would be the canon of the ship known as Wano.
I figure Crocodile's information about Pluton was just pointing to the poneglyph that told where to find it and he confused it for Pluton itself. He was probably just told (or somehow discovered) that Alabasta knew where it was so he figured that must mean they have it. After all, Robin *did* learn of Pluton's location from the Alabasta poneglyph, so Crocodile wasn't entirely off base. His information could've been something as simple yet vague as "Alabasta guards Pluton" or "Alabasta holds the keys to Pluton". In that case his conclusion would've been reasonable but still wrong.

Also you're incorrect in you reference to Zeus/Jupiter and Hades/Pluto. Zeus and Hades were the names of the Greek gods and Jupiter and Pluto were the counterparts for the Roman gods.
yeah i said that, but as i was speaking with Native Greeks and people more familiar with the topic than I am. there seemed to be a distinction because after a certain point Hades was also referred to by greeks as Pluton and Hades was more synonymous with the underworld itself, thus creating a separation in the terminology. This was not done with Jupiter, So like in modern times it is normal for greeks to refer to what was originally "hades" as "pluton" where as the romans said "pluto." At the same time in Modern times they still say Zeus and not Jupiter creating that separation. Ultimately yes Zeus/Hades are the greek names and Jupiter/Pluto were the roman counterparts, but there was more nuance in the naming, which could be relevant depending on who you ask. Since Oda chose to use Pluton not Pluto, that seems to be enough to convince many of the greek sources i've spoken to that the ancient weapon naming structure is all greek, but also if you watch my Reverie/Davy Back fight video, it seems like there oda might be including the greek/roman transition within the Ancient Kingdom and Void Century history.

VERY Important note : You said the walls "grew" around Wano right? Well in Chapter 154 of the manga , the beginning of the Alabasta arc. The straw hats encounter some steam rising out of the sea. Nami points out that its because of volcanic activity and the fact that they can also be used for hot springs BUT what she also mentioned was that ISLANDS will eventually grow out from those spots in about 1000's of years......Wano is a VOLCANIC island with hotsprings as its based on IRL Japan....Coincidence?? Love this theory. Another detail to support it: The poneglyphs were made in Wano but we still have no clue from what material. What if the material for the poneglyphs originates from the Pluton cloud? That would explain why it cannot be replicated.
Main feature of poneglyphs is that they are indistructible, emperor cloud is not indistructible at all. And why would shipwrights from waters even who are famous for there ship building skills build a cloud and that too how.

If pluton = imperial cumulus control, then wano = imperial cumulus source. What else is uniquely from Wano? Sea Prism stone. What else? Poneglyphs, which like imperial cumulus, do not erode. It's kind of romantic, but the idea of Japan literally having something that could both stop time and prevent any visitors makes enormous sense from a historical standpoint.
I feel like it would also make sense that if the straw hats eventually got hold of “pluton” that Nami would be able to control this emperor cloud with her staff making her the perfect user of this ancient weapon

I think it's pretty likely that the water being held within Wano's borders is actually the cloud Pluton that rained so much that it became just that - the rainwater. This sealed Pluton away so no one else could use Pluton in it's cloud form. Also, there is probably a lot more to the "opening Wano's borders" than just the fact that Pluton gets released. There has to be a way for the cloud to be formed again and it's likely going to be dependent on Gear 5 Luffy to make that happen.

The gold in Wano would be at ground level or usually beneath. Since Wano hasn't been at ground level for a long time that would explain why they say there isn't gold there anymore. Destroying the borders of Wano and unleashing all that water would likely raise the One Piece world's sea levels, which could be devastating.
Also, based on what we saw from the destruction of Lulusia, it seems that the WG has some devastating weapon in the clouds. If the Pluton or counter Pluton is a ship meant to use a huge amount of dance powder to disperse clouds, it could easily be the counter to the WG cloud weapon.
I don't think the worlds oceans would rise with the trapped water on Wano. Certainly it is a lot of water but the ocean is many times more massive and would barely notice this rise over a large distance.

So under wano, pluton is a sleeping super sea turtle, which also relates to zunesha as the model of the world turtle is described as 4 elephants on a turtle back holding up the world. The emperor cloud sounds exactly like what happened at Lulusia. The sky grew really dark and the beams came out of a cloud. But that wouldn't make sense, since Pluton is supposedly still at the bottom of Wano.

I think its a fact that the water is fresh in wano. Consider the koi fish who survive in fresh water. I think Robin mentions that the city is well preserved because there is a lack of seawater which would cause it to decay. Fresh water may not be a preservative, but it certainly wouldn’t DAMAGE the city structures.
I think that the only reason why the borders need to open is that no create can reach Pluton due to the pressure of the water at that depth. By opening the borders the water level would fall, allowing someone like a fishman to
activate the Pluton.
I don’t the the purpose of the walls was ever to close off the border, I think wano used to be a dessert island in ancient times, and resurrected the walls in wano to store the water they got from rain. Or used the fresh water to create island clouds from the mountain. Later it was used as a deterrent when the WG won the ancient war.

We were given a theory or possible explanation for emperor cloud from cricket. Pagaya told us what it was made out of. There are sea clouds, island clouds and clouds that people travel from island to island, which is weatheria. Now we have vegapunk made their own clouds. While we have many instances of these cloud, the actual creation and timeline for it has not been explained. As for the pluton aspect, the not released yet was explained in the video towards the end
Well something I thought about during this video is that spirits are closely associated with water. Ghost have increased paranormal activity when it rains and also fog is just clouds formed at low altitude which is also associated with the ghost and other paranormal activity. It could very well be that the ancient weapon Uranos is actually a giant floating island size weather manipulation machine whose output was maxed out to point it can destroy islands in the blink of an eye.

I think we'll see a version of the Marines Pluton in the future, cause Kaku has seen some of the pages of what Franky had before he set them on fire, and this might be the reason the Sunny picture was switched out for Franky, cause that ship may have some of Plutons blueprints in them, or the counter to Pluton

Mmm Pluton referenced in Alabasta and it rains right before the Emperor Cloud is referenced. What if that is related to Skypiea itself someway? But this does make me wonder about how exactly does Zunesha obtain its favorite food: Sky Apples… does the Emperor Cloud frequent a trip to the solitary Skypiea, and thus transporting it to the JoyBoy/sun god companion?

Could Pluton be Mt. Fuji or Wano itself? A volcano could essentially act as a massive canon, just like the one used by Crocodile to create artificial rain, for spreading dance powder and perhaps it can only be loaded/used once Wano's borders are opened (maybe the water needs to be drained from the canon). Also, depending on what one intends to fire through it, it could be used to create sky islands (by loading it up with pyrobloin materials, which may themselves come from volcanic material). Naturally, Mt. Fuji could be on top of a bed of magma (though it is unclear if there is any left) that could have been used to construct the poneglyphs or to just erupt.
In terms of setting directions for the mountain to shoot at, maybe if the water is vacated from Wano, it will float up as if you just emptied a bucket. Perhaps this will reveal Wano to be mobile in some sense, like a pirate ship. After all, I doubt a collection of islands was pulled together from the bedrock and above, it seems that each part of Wano is only the surface of other islands, meaning that it need not be ground all the way down to the sea floor. If this is true, then Mt. Fuji could literally be a canon that one could tilt in different directions and shoot in order to destroy things, produce sky islands, or produce rain. It would be the canon of the ship known as Wano.
I figure Crocodile's information about Pluton was just pointing to the poneglyph that told where to find it and he confused it for Pluton itself. He was probably just told (or somehow discovered) that Alabasta knew where it was so he figured that must mean they have it. After all, Robin *did* learn of Pluton's location from the Alabasta poneglyph, so Crocodile wasn't entirely off base.
His information could've been something as simple yet vague as "Alabasta guards Pluton" or "Alabasta holds the keys to Pluton". In that case his conclusion would've been reasonable but still wrong.

Also you're incorrect in you reference to Zeus/Jupiter and Hades/Pluto. Zeus and Hades were the names of the Greek gods and Jupiter and Pluto were the counterparts for the Roman gods.
yeah i said that, but as i was speaking with Native Greeks and people more familiar with the topic than I am. there seemed to be a distinction because after a certain point Hades was also referred to by greeks as Pluton and Hades was more synonymous with the underworld itself, thus creating a separation in the terminology. This was not done with Jupiter, So like in modern times it is normal for greeks to refer to what was originally "hades" as "pluton" where as the romans said "pluto." At the same time in Modern times they still say Zeus and not Jupiter creating that separation. Ultimately yes Zeus/Hades are the greek names and Jupiter/Pluto were the roman counterparts, but there was more nuance in the naming, which could be relevant depending on who you ask. Since Oda chose to use Pluton not Pluto, that seems to be enough to convince many of the greek sources i've spoken to that the ancient weapon naming structure is all greek, but also if you watch my Reverie/Davy Back fight video, it seems like there oda might be including the greek/roman transition within the Ancient Kingdom and Void Century history.
Dance Powder and the "cherry blossom" powder have some parallels in their respective methods of deployment, as well as how we see them interacting with clouds. Potential foreshadowing?
