I like the vintage pastel colours, I think the sunny conditions helped a lot with the expired film.
Thanks for sharing the photo tour around Coney Island 📸

A very pleasant photowalk, I felt like I was in Coney Island. And you got very nice photos, that film gives beautiful colors. Your videos are very nice, I congratulate you.

You got some pretty good results. I've shot a lot expired film and if it's around the 10 yo iso 400 film you're good to underexpose it one or two stops. I always shoot Umax 400 at iso 200. i have a 35-70mm zoom and get that same light flare. I chalk it up to the sun angle. try an ND filter

I always have my skylight filter one which I really like, I wish I could have multiple filters on at the same time! Though it's weird because I usually don't get these red flares on the sides with the same lens

@@marleneinmotion Have you checked the light seals? I have had to replace those on several of my film cameras.

@@markgoostree6334 Might check that out yea. Weird that it happened from one film to another because I finished another role earlier that day and that one was totally fine, but I will see. Thanks for the suggestion!

All of my new film only has an expiration of 2-3 years out. If that roll expired in 2012, maybe it was made long after the 80s? Otherwise they really cut the shelf life on their new stuff. Either way, really cool photos and video!!

It's so hard to find something online, everyone says something different, thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Great captures. Do you develop on your own or send to a lab?

With expired film you need to talk to the place that is processing first. Some places will not process older film as they do not have the process to do so. Overheard a conversation at a developing place that advised the person to not use the film they showed them for anything irreplaceable and no other places would develop it.

Oh wow I didnt know that! With this stock I wouldn't be too worried though because I think it is almost the same as modern Kodak Color Plus or Gold
