Another exceptional video. I genuinely believe you could shoot an entire video in this style with just your phone and it would still be great. Your eye for compositions are so mesmerising and create such an immersive experience. Just wow 🤝
Amazing bro, I've been pondering starting RUclips for a few years now and your last few vids have really gave me alot of energy to begin and stop sitting on my Ideas
Hes done it again. Amazing to see you explore this medium. Ill have to google how tf one develops and edits a video shot on film but im scared of the answer.
Haha! It’s not like the old days cutting together film. The lab I use develops and scans the film and gives me a 4K video scan. I then just have to cut it up, etc. in my video editor like any other video clip
Love those images, damn they're beautiful. Extra props for the muska board dude. I didn't spot Fred Mortagne in your bookshelf there but I'm quite positive it was off-frame, right? ;)
Haha you noticed the muska board! He tagged it for me 10 years ago and it’s still a prized possession. I think the book you are seeing is Fred Herzog - but I’ll look into Fred Mortagne 👀
I dont always go to Coney Island - but when I do - it's because me and my homies are framed for killing Cyrus and we have to head back to home turf; all the way from the Bronx
This is art! I think I have seen your “Japan - cinematic reality” about 27 times and I’m sure I’ll be watching this video over and over again as well!
Thank you so much! So happy to hear that. Hope to create more videos like that Japan one soon as well as more in-depth more photography related stuff.
I’m so amazed by how alive this feels. Perfectly captured the essence of Coney and the contemporary nostalgia, the music + photos and video ✨
Means so much! I’m glad that shined through. Labor Day didn’t feel as busy as previous years but I made it work. 🙌🙌
Amazing short film, the grading, the music, the analog aesthetics. I loved every bit of it
Really appreciate that! Thanks so much for stopping by
Thank you so much for the footage! It's rare to find such long and thorough examples online. Great footage!
Thanks so much! Seems 16mm is making a bit of a comeback, it’s exciting 🙌
Another exceptional video. I genuinely believe you could shoot an entire video in this style with just your phone and it would still be great. Your eye for compositions are so mesmerising and create such an immersive experience. Just wow 🤝
Really appreciate that! Sounds like a fun challenge
Wow! Just wow! The music, vibe and everything is perfectly done 🙌
So happy you like it
Nice work. May the Film Gods bless you.

thanks so much my dude!
Muska at one minute!! Now i understand why your videos are so good! 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Haha yesss. Had the privilege of meeting of meeting him at a demo in 2014
The look is spot on-could’ve fooled me into thinking it was straight from the '70s!
Blast form the past 👍👍
Thanks! Love that nostalgic feel the camera gives. It does feel like a 70s nyc movie or something
Absolutely incredible!
I am left without words - this is incredibly beautiful. You made my week, Sir!
Thanks so much. Too kind!
Incredibly nostalgic work! Great stuff! 🤘🏻
Thanks!
What a heavy hitter. Always love getting the notif that you uploaded
Thanks so much dude. Gotta get to your level of consistency...you've been putting in work!
Very cool again! I love the look of this. The place looks as nostalgic as can be, and the 16mm takes up to eleven. Well done!
Thank you! I totally agree. I love how they keep it retro over there 🎡
Such a treat to see what you make.
Thanks so much 🙏
Always a great day when you post, keep it up!

Amazing bro, I've been pondering starting RUclips for a few years now and your last few vids have really gave me alot of energy to begin and stop sitting on my Ideas
I was in the same boat. I say just go for it, as cliche as that sounds. Getting started is the hardest part…I really wish I started sooner!
Great video -- those night shots pared with your music choices are just wonderful.
Means so much. Thank you 🙏
Feels nostalgic!
Yes! Glad you feel it
Mann such a good video, love the storytelling and the whole intro bit leading up to coney as well. The night footage looked so sick 😍
Thanks dude! Ugh I know. I love how that Nathan’s neon looked. I wish there was more in the city like that to play with 😍
Excellent work as always man! Love watching your videos!
Really appreciate it!
Sights and sounds. I like

Great work. Got myself a Bolex (non reflex) yesterday...cant wait to try it out. Inspirational stuff...well done :)
Welcome to the 16mm rabbit hole haha. 🕳️ Have fun! My only complaint is how bad it hurts the bank
@@illkoncept yeah i know lol, still waiting on my 1st results from shooting super 8 from the lab and already have jumped to 16mm :)
Wonderful shots and awesome music choice! 💯
Thanks! So glad you liked the music, too. 💯🙌
Nice 70s vibe.
🙏🙏🙏
So good mate , worth all your efforts 👏👏👏

You’re the best man
Way too kind
Chad Muska for the win
Yesss I’m glad so many people immediately notice that haha. He tagged my board 10 years ago and I still ride it
Yo... the shot @ 2:20 is epic.
Thanks! I liked that spot too 💯
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Dope
Thanks for the love!

First video I’ve seen from you and already a certified banger 10/10! Never worked with 16mm, does the bolted record sound as well?
Thank you! Means a lot. It does not record sound. I had a Rode Mic attached to the strap so I could record my surroundings and match it up later 🙌
established in Milwaukee 😁
Was expecting to hear Robert Deniro or Joe Pesci's voice narrating it
Haha love that. I wish
this is amazing. where did you get that instrumental version of Kisses from? i can’t find it.
Glad you like that song! I got it from Musicbed, where I license my music.
I dont always go to Coney Island - but when I do - it's because me and my homies are framed for killing Cyrus and we have to head back to home turf; all the way from the Bronx
I’m so happy so many people know that movie here haha
Huh, I guess getting to Coney Island is way less exciting than The Warriors made it seem. . .
lolol a lot has changed over the years
