One of the episode that I frequently rewatch Just seeing other people in that town. When the "skies are falling" scene. The horror... it makes me emotional...
Donna is my all time favorite companion. I love their friendship, especially how she isn't afraid to push back when she thinks he's wrong. Rose and Martha kind of put the Doctor on a pedestal. He and Donna treat each other as peers.
If you think Peter Capaldi looks young in this check him out in "Local Hero", British classic film about a scottish community under threat from an American oil company. In the style of Ealing comedy.
So, I don't know if either of you two are aware of this, but the characters of Caecillius, Metella and Quintus were based on characters in the Cambridge Latin Course textbooks (Evalina is an original character as far as I know). But I learnt Latin in secondary school and we followed their life throughout the book until Vesuvius erupted in the final chapter. Caecillius himself was a real person who lived in Pompeii at the time, but I don't know if Metella and Quintus were based on real people.
I remember that the lead member of the Sisterhood in this episode was played by Sasha Bahaar who played one of my favourite villains on Coronation Street back in 2004 as Maya Sharma. Although, she was also known as "Mad Maya"
It’s better when you don’t tell her the title. Because once of the best reveals is when Donna figures out where she is, and we do, and the doctor confirms
Firstly, have you recorded a reaction to the Sontaran 2-parter? Secondly, from now on can you record her reaction to the next time trailers? It doesn’t spoil much and I want to see her reactions to that.
Fun fact: The wife of Capaldi's character plays a companion of the Seventh Doctor in the Big Finish audios.
Capaldi looks at TARDIS: ''Soon.''
10th Doctor: ''What?''
Capaldi: ''Nothing.''
Hehe, I don't think Capaldi had any idea he'd actually get to play the Doctor, but you know he was geeking out just getting to be on the show.
The last time the Doctor met somebody who was a doppelgänger of his future incantation he ended up getting shot.
“Is this why you like this episode because Peter Capaldi’s in it?”
“That’s one of the reasons”
I mean...same.

Me too. I've actually visitied Pompeii (twice) but somehow this really made it hit home for me.

Still a Sarah Jane #1, but Donna is the best of NuWho

Yay bonus reaction! Thanks Megan!!! ❤️
Honestly, "TKMaxximus" is one of my favourite throwaway lines in Doctor Who. So under appreciated as a line. It was genius!
I like the one from The Shakespeare Code. "But which house?" *Door opens by itself* "Make that _witch_ house."
*No*spoilers*comments* Personally my favourite season, I hope Megan enjoys it!
That Peter Capaldi guy will never play The Doctor
He is an Academy Award winner, and they don't play The Doctor. Malcolm Tucker though...

My class at school watched this episode during a Latin lesson as Caecilius was actually a real person. Can't wait for Planet of the Ood!
Yay bonus Megan reaction.
Love this series. Keep it going!

I love this episode. It really helped to cement Donna as my favorite NW companion. Amazing reaction.
Great reaction my friends.i forgot how emotional this episode can be.

The final episode of this season is great
16:06 that music is so nostalgic to me
This is how to watch Doctor Who, someone who hasn't watched it and someone who has so they can answer questions.
Yeah, except they talk over some of the best lines.
That’s how I watch it with my mom
@@sallyatticum You are so right
Great reaction but I did feel that some important scenes were missed by talking like the 20000 scenes in the caves... sorry...
Spoilers: the soothsayer initiate. Say no more..
Talked over so many important lines....ugggg including dueling phycics

Nah fam
They spoil a lot most of the time.
Let's not forget the Series 10, episode 1 next time that ruined a prominent finale spoiler
