By far, your videos have some of the best information out there. Appreciate all this! Thank you and side note, forget what video it was you mentioned you worked on AH Puch in Smite, thought that was cool. Played so much of that gave and his abilities were awesome!
Subscribed and shared with my Diablo group chat. you’ve done a great job of going into detail on what you were capturing, thanks so much for creating chapters for the videos!
This was very informational, you went above and beyond getting this info for everyone. Awesome job man, this is absolutely amazing that you did this! thx for this dude, def going to help a lot of folks out with this one.
I remember watching dry bear in smite content. Shamefully took me a bit to remember where I saw your vids. Great content and informative as I remember from back in my Smite days. Glad to see ya here too…
Wow, that's amazing. You are godsend for majority average gamers like myself who only have a few hours free to play while juggling work and family. I'm lvl 62 but going to hit 65 tonight and complete the capstone dungeon to get in tear 4 at last!! 😆 haha!
@@geraldschwarz3153 thanks, i completed capstone dungeon at lvl 64. im in no hurry to get to lvl 100. just been enjoying playing at normal pace. ill be playing sorcerer in season 1 :)
Hey Dry, how does progressing strongholds to the boss, then logging for the reset compare to dungeon grinding. I have seen other creators claim that if you skip the boss and the bell you can keep max uptime on exp on a path through the strongholds (onyx -> Kor -> Rot) by just logging to reset it. Also, some players have noticed that Onyx Watchtower has really high drops right now, did you notice that in your testing?
An Impressive amount of time and effort was spent on this, cheers. Several other "Exp tier lists" suggest strongholds being the optimal way to level for time spent to exp gained. it's interesting to see your results here. I'll have to look into some of your top ranked dungeons. Thanks for this.
I may not care too much about XP efficiency in D4 specifically, but I firmly believe in rewarding and encouraging ultra-hard work like this, so here's a like, a scrubscribe, and a comment. If I wore hats, I'd have taken it off to you, sir.
I love that you pointed out the mob types, so I can avoid the spiders. Why must every RPG have giant spiders? At least we get to slaughter them and they're not horrible in this game.
Ideas for videos/questions... if you get baleful fragments and coiling wards from disenchanting legendaries... is there a particularly cheap aspect/item you can enchant? Thus allowing you to turn your rare into a legendary... so salvaging creates legendary crafting resources for a cost in gold and veiled crystal? Second question... at about 2 minutes into the game you can cheer for soldiers and receive a cache of herbs that become available to your whole account... If you want early iron barb elixers for season 1 cant you make like 5-10 new chars and farm lots of plants in 10 minutes before leaving town? Might be especially good for hardcore players skipping the main story... easy way to make sure you dont die from level 5-15 because of low armor... thorns will increase clear speeds a bit also...
Awesome, but I would recommend if you're playing Hardcore to get a scroll of escape from random drop before running dungeons as the Butcher may end it prematurely.
Im a bit confused, im level 63 and i fight against enemies that are level 68 but the level number isnt red its like orangey, does that mean I gotta go for stronger enemies to get more xp?
What I'm now wondering. How are you sure, that the XP/Clear Time is the best this way, when you basically didn't get any XP? A few weeks ago, I was done with Story (roughly Level 43), wanted to go Blind Burrow to Level (since apparently it's oftentimes the "best" option, when it came to dungeons) and made a lousy 20/30% of a Level, in the same Time I needed for a Blind Burrow Run i was getting much more XP anywhere in the overworld. I get the "I tested it on X for consistency" but not having much other Infos doesn't makes anything better here IMO. And a Farming / Well Geared Spec at 100 is a completely different thing then a character that you just Level completely fresh too (not the right skills, different enemies that work against your class, not every aspect, etc).
So the exp is based on mob count in a dungeon? So this assumes that a spiderling rewards the same xp as spider host or a big knight dude? Does it take into account that one dungeon has more elites than another?
Great video. One question. How do you know that mob level is the only factor of exp? Wouldn't a gigantic boar give more exp than a tiny spiderling since it has 30x more hp?
This is definitely a valuable list, thanks for that. However, regarding the absolute exp tracking I'm a bit concerned. I agree with you that as you level, all monster stats change, but perhaps if you measure at lvl 90, you can still actually measure exp based on your exp bar from the start and compare at the end of runs for some real exp/h numbers. While your speed column helps distinguish the dungeons somewhat, I think it's a bit vague. Do you have some numbers for each 1 through 5 how long your runs were? Did you put the clear times in brackets and then divided them by 5 categories?
There are side quest dungeons that have better elite density then any other places in the game ( call of the ancients) are there more side quests worth saving that are similar?
Question: i heard from another video(reakor) that the bonus 25% from monster higher lvl than you doesn’t apply anymore in seasonal following the latest patch… Is it true?

That, sir, was a herculean effort on our behalf. One we don't deserve, but greatly appreciate.
This is the best comprehensive guide I've seen on exp in dungeons thank you.
Love the one sheet idea too.

Bless you sir, your spreadsheet is magnificent!!
Indeed this is the best place to stay a while and listen. Thank you for this compilation of knowledge.
Yep I have been there for most of your streams during this testing.
Wow!!! This is an INSANE amount of work!! Thanks for this!
I love that you pointed out the mob types, so I can avoid the spiders. Why must every RPG have giant spiders? At least we get to slaughter them and they're not horrible in this game.
If you're gonna be doing something over and over, why not make it enjoyable? I made sure to look out for you and others like you. :)
spiders? They are the easiest to deal compared to Ghosts...
"But honey - it's for research!"
Also, you are the freaking man - this is detailed as heck!! TY sir!
Thanks for all the hard work, this is definitely helpful. If anything, most people just need to remember Sarat's lair.
First off, NOW THIS IS FKN CONTENT, just earn my subscription. Second, if you add info on quest releated to each dungeon/hold would even more awesome
Amazing work Sir!!
Thanks for the leg work much appreciated!!
I was like "Oh he took the time to farm every dungeon, that's nice of him" and then he started talking about counting every mob by hand
Great video, as always. Thank you for the time and effort to create this.
This is incredible! Your content is always so high quality & useful. Thank you 💛 Liked & subbed.

Nice, like the scientific testing methodology. Good data collection.
Is there even going to be a ladder or a timer of any sort?

Yes, larger enemies give more than smaller enemies and would factor a fluctuation in the true XP.
Im impressed! Thank you!
Thanks mate awesome resource
Couch co-op? What would be the xp gains if any?
How is fields of hatred farming compared to dungeons? It seems to have really high mob density
Do you do data analysis for work?
If your solo how are you going to run the capstone dungeon at lvl 45 to be able to go to WT 3 and do NM

Curious and maybe @drybear you could answer this. Aren't the isntances swapping for the new season? Id hate to see all of this work to go to waste
Sick! Great vid thx

Bro you're literally breaking the game down to it's atoms, I appreciate, its insane, but what do I do now?
Should we level at tier 1 or tier 2?

Blizzard just needs to make the strongholds replayable as well as the side quests just like they do on immortal
