I didn't realize the blacksmith could salvage sigils, that is a huge time saver. I disagree with doing regular dungeons on tier 1. That would be mind numbingly boring and I have gotten several great uniques from cellars and regular dungeons. Some of my best items came from busting open jars in cellars.
when I play, I first look at the dungeons that are red with whispering tree mission. I only do those that I still haven't collected the aspect from. If there are none, I do a nightmare dungeon. Rinse and repeat. So except for 2 or 3 dungeons with aspects I really wanted early on, all my dungeons give me double reward, I unlock an aspect and get 5 points for the whispering tree.
@@CreagerX there is a little white box at the bottom right of the dungeon icon. Just look at the map, you can clearly see it. It's just like if you start a new character. Heads up, been playing on Xbox split screen (separate blizzard accounts) with a friend. He had not completed the campaign on eternal. I had all the way points on my seasonal char and was able to make him party lead and was able to jump to all of them from town platforms (from the map didn’t work) this saved us a TON of time running his seasonal char through the campaign.
Honestly I've never been in a group except for twice with a world boss but I really really like that idea of grouping for the renown. Whoever at blizzard thought people would enjoy redoing all that crap every season must have been on some serious drugs. Codex is strongholds I can mostly understand but side quests??? Come on give me a break.
I agree. The drugs must have been out of this world because their initial plans had *NOTHING* carrying over from season to season. No waypoints, no altars, no map coverage....nothing.
sidequest are generally faster than dungeons. if you wann do dungeons, at least do the sidequests that lead into dungeons. this way you'll get reknown for both, the quest and the dungeon. some sidequests are in multiple steps, each giving reknown and lots of the sidequests are on the way from your waypoint to your dungeon and are done in 2 minutes.
I believe the last tip, the level gating for sacred/ancestral also applies to Whisper caches. Still great for XP but the loot itself may not be usable till you hit these levels.
Maybe I'm the weird one, but i dont hate renown that much. I like to spread it out, since what else am i rushing through to? Just running the same shitty nightmare dungeons over and over? I don't find those any more fun than running around doing renown.
Yes and no. Most uniques become available around the mid game (45-75) range but there are uniques locked behind lvl 85. Those are Uber uniques and basically don't exist.
Will seasonal gear (new uniques, jewelry with heart slots, aspects, etc) and malignant hearts transfer to Eternal once the season is over? 2nd will we be able to earn malignant hearts, invokers, etc in the eternal server once the season is over?
I highly recommend doing all the renown dungeon grinding on t4 cuz 200% XP bonus, chance at awesome gear is worth the slightly slower completion rate. From level 60, they should feel easy enough.
when the wording on an item is Grey doe mean it's not active? I have two items. With similar effects one wording turned Grey. Also blood wave ? I have an item which turns it to shadow/darkness damage desecrate ground it travels over damaging for 3990 damage over 4secs. Actually mite build shadow lord with this 🤔
I really do enjoy your videos. Idk if it is your voice, the content or the length of your videos that does it for me. Maybe a combination if them all. Keep up the good work! We enjoy it😎
Solo player advice for renown. Do quests first instead of dungeons. That way when you come across a quest that requires you to go into a dungeon you can double dip that renown. Plus alot of quests are in the same area ish. So you can effectively complete multiple quests at once rather than 1 dungeon at a time and it's pretty fast by comparison. Also a lot of quests are definitely hidden gems for previous diablo players. Such as in back water *spoilers* There's a quest that takes you to the site where lilith was raised. Lyndon from d3 is the leader of backwater in haewazar. He even carries his crossbow lol. And there are plenty of follow up side character quests like the one for oyuun and time.
Is there a good way to farm wrathful hearts aside from getting lucky when you craft the random caches? I've only found one at the end of a malignant tunnel from the boss that spawns from the pustule thing
@stevenluoma1268 thank you for the advice! I was doing that but I wasn't sure if I was wasting my time. The only wrathful elite I've found was at the end from that pustule thing. Good to know that other elites have a chance to be wrathful
@@pleasuretokill They should revert the changes at lvl 55 enemies stop scaling to me besides HellTides, Field of Hatred, Strongholds and nightmare dungeons. Killing their open world they designed.
#6 Ignore all of this and buy Last Epoch. BG3 falls off in act 3 and is littered with bugs. PoE is not viable for new players, esp casual players. PoE2 out in 2024.
The cost of gear at the vendors is so outrageous I quit looking. It is crazy to spend hundreds of thousands of gold for a slight upgrade, especially while leveling. I remember looking around level 20 and they had pieces selling for between 200-400K! No new character has that much gold at that level. Prices don’t seem to be level appropriate.
yes, the cost is very high. don't look for slight upgrades tho. what you want from merchants are items with high ilvl and great affixes. so items that'll stay with you for a long time. feel free to ignore merchants until you're lvl 70+. sometimes they have some amazing stuff, but it's highly random.
Boosting is not viable. We tried, it's sucks. It was used in our group to up someone that died in HC. It used to take around 3h to boost someone back to lvl 45+ (you still can't do shit at that level) It now takes 3 times as long. Meaning those that die in HC simply give up because no one is willing to sit at the entrance of a dungeon doing nothing for 9+ hours just so you can play with your friends again. Compare this to D3 were it took less than 20min to up someone back to lvl 70... Add to that that most Nightmare dungeons have built-in mechanics that can kill the ones sitting at the entrance so they can't even do something else in the meantime. Everything has been done to make this an awful experience and I can't think of anyone that would be willing to suffer for a full day just to play with higher levels mates. For us, PL is dead and this killed playing HC with your mates and that is a real shame.
I disagree on boosting being good, but sure grouping should be faster. There are plenty of gacha games they can play if they don’t want to play the game.
It happens. It's pure luck. For example...I have found one...repeat ONE bis ring in over 900 hours playing. Vendors are mostly garbage or a way of getting 2/4 stats and you can roll a 3rd to hold you over until good stuff drops.
@mcpumii_ it's not jaded. After playing Remnant 2, an awesome game with tons of loot builds and awesome bosses for only 40 bucks. It just make sense to support companies that are pro consumer. If I'm jaded then you guys are delusional if Diablo immortal was not enough to convince you that blizzard is going to disappoint.

Yeah I usually hit dungeons when I am close to finishing up a renown level. Or I want the aspect
Would it not be better to do nightmare level 31 so that you might get lucky and get the Uber unique items?

The one tip about farming malignant hearts you don’t have to reload your game anymore just go to world map and reset dungeons it’s much faster.

when you say 75% less time for renown in a dungeon group of 4, do you mean 75% in real numbers or 75% in diablo 4 calculation numbers?
