Top tier air is already a disaster so dragging the premium dummies there at least will hopefully free up the lower BRs.
I look at it as more free food for things like su-27s, though an actually GOOD player in an F-20 will probably be kinda scary.
Premium buyers are the reason you get to play this game for free and get constant updates, you should be thankful
@@montysmedia4308 They are also the reason some tiers are unplayable, as the large swaths of these players have no idea what they are doing and actually hurt the experience for those that do. It's a double-bladed sword. 🤷♂
Yeah top tier is hell, i have more fun around 10-11.0, you have less missile spammers sometimes but its just hell
Ah I still remember that shooting range video when they said "we will never add top tier jet premiums" im 99% positive that video is still up. Either way the F20 is beautiful and more people will buy it to strictly bomb with it. Also another Abrams is surprising but more freedom is good. Finally, it was only a matter of time before they added a T80 premium. Since the Click-Bait came I KNEW a T80 premium would come and here it is. Don't be surprised if a Leo 2A5 comes soon too
tbh that Canadian leopard 2a4m might be the germany premium but yea its wild they are selling a rank 8 already for air means rank 9 is soon

Raam Segol isnt just any Merkava mk.3 its a Merkava mk.3D, which there is only one of in game and its a event vehicle for America that is really expensive in the market, and ngl its nice to see a cool Merkava mk.3 in the Israeli tree finally
Thanks for the video and for your opinion, I'm honestly excited for Type 90B I wanted to grind Japan from long time and I think it’s the time. and for Swedish Christian II I think it will be nice grinder. and I hope next update they give France a little love and give them some fun vehicles
I’m an Israeli main, I’ll get this one because it looks very nice and you can also play top tier with the Mk.3s so it’ll help in that regard
excited about my type 90, i've really wanted to grind japan and they've got a great 11.0 lineup with an apache longbow
The Type 74 G is on sale, it was put back into the tech tree back in February with the Japanese aniversary

Just remember br on dev servers change often. Also this update or soon they are introducing br for different game modes so that will change this planes br.

Same as you said for sweden goes for Japan. You already have 2 type 90s. I will most likely buy fuji when on discount but it's just the same type 90 you have in tech tree

Honestly, the only premium i would be willing to pay 70 for is the type 90B. I've been wanting to grind Japan, and i really dont wanna use the type 16 or the type 74

This thing won't be as Op as the northrop fans are making it sound like, sure it has potential for a downtier, but if it stays at 12.0, it's gonna be facing gripens,sukhois and f16's all the time, and 6 aim9L's and 45 flares is not gonna be enough for the 16v16 format with atleast 120 missiles going into every match, i'll consider buying it if they put it at 11.7 or if they up the flare count

yeah gonna get the t80 since i will then do full money grind lineup as is with turms and 2s38 i make 100k-165k a match
But why? You don’t need to really grind for SL much anymore.
That’s pretty bad only making 100-165k sl per match with that kind of lineup. That’s like a normal game for me lol.

I mean south Korea is just like Israel, it probably has more stuff even, now that it is one of the world's largest arms exporter. So it is probably will be an idependent tech tree...
Why T80UD? The russian br at 10.0 is more than strong ... and now another 10.0?!
I'm tempted by the Strv 121B just so I can grind Sweden even faster xD
My best advice: dont buy premiums unless you really want to grind that tech tree. And in that case, dont buy premiums that arent on sale or limited time offers.
what should i pick T72AV TURMS or the T80UD.... both with my 2S38, Object 292, BMP2M and ofc SU25K.. and Strela :P

Pick the T-72AV TURMS. The T-80UD is effectively a T-72B(1989) with a slightly better reload. The T-72AV allows you to fulfill a role that nothing else really can at 10.0 for Russia. You will love those optics trust me.
For brawls you already have that covered with your 292, and the T-72Bs fulfill that role too. The T-72AV TURMS allows you to be effective in longer range maps, its armor is also not bad in a brawl either.

Will the t80 go on sale in May as well since its a ge vehichle ir does it get the same treatment as new packs?
@@General_kenobi12 iirc its 3-4 update before a vehicle can go on sale no mater what the Challenger 2 OES did not go on sale during the winter so I assume no.
Is this premium pre order only or when the game gonna come out it be still there to buy?
They are pre orders but will still be in the shop after the update released but without the extra decals and titles
I saw that you did the new map, was that with the editor and is it possible to import map files of other games somehow for custom missions?
I have never did it my self but considering people have made minecraft hangers I assume it could be possible just not in a custom game since it would require others to also have those files.

Well, I think that it is a ridiculous amount of money for a virtual jet/tank in a game, and it's completely incomprehensible to me that some people are willing to pay that.
It's not a question of being able to afford it or not, but of value for money, and it's far, far, far beyond what I would be willing to spend.

I love how some CCs always warn players of buying hightiers and skipping lowtiers.
This is War Thunder, a really simple game that only gets mildly more complex the higher you go. Anyone with half a working brain cell will do just fine on any rank with just the Wiki to assist them. Not understanding hightiers is a conscious choice by certain individuals, and doesn't apply to the majority of players.
During the anniversary sale I had a merkava mk2D firing HEAT FS at me and all I can assume was that they thought higher pen = good. You are thrown into a area of the game which many will not know anything about. helicopters guided bombs ATGMS composite armor etc etc etc. Playing the game normally you are exposed to those features slowly giving you time to learn about them and what they do even if you have zero experience with military vehicles.
True but a casual player who just wants to play toptier will most likely not want to go all in depth in the wiki to learn about the best rounds and what tanks they will face at that br, and it is possible that they will have very little map knowledge which will lead to them dying quickly and being forced to leave before even slightly helping the team.
@@nick11jlAgain, that is a *conscious choice* by that player. He made the decision to not learn the game and just bumble around. It is not an accident, it is intentionally sabotaging their own team for the lulz, because War Thunder is at its core a rather simple game and it only takes about 30 minutes of Wiki time to understand hightier mechanics for the average person to achieve a level of play that doesn't massively drag your team down.
you are majorly overestimating the average person, and definitely the average WT player.
Either way, even a good player should not buy top tier premiums with no lineup, never mind a bad one. One-two spawners make this game so much worse, compare how fun and how long lasting matches at

F20 could just add as event reward but they decided to make it a premium and copy-paste jaguar for event

Join the partnership program at gaijin. Each dev server they give us GE to make videos etc
I'd rather get the premium T80 over the TURMS as it has better reload speed, also a diesel engine that makes them think youre a TURMS when they hear it.
I’m really excited for the 120S personally, as an American main it’s nice to get a tank that actually has a really good gun for its BR. Otherwise this update is kinda meh, premium filler.
No not worth it.i paid for one and they completely changed it to a completely different tank.but I payed for the old one and they got rid of it that's crazy to me
I hate that the F-20 is a premium
I don't play top tier but the F-5 and the F-20 were always my favorite American fighter jets thanks to Ace Combat, so it just pains me to see it done dirty like this
