- We are getting ready to go to BERNINA University in just a few days and BERNINA has given us a couple more little videos to continue to tease us about the NEW BERNINA 990. We don't know much about it but watch this video to see what we know so far.

I really like what you are doing in this video ...showing us the new machine and showing us newbies how to do it on the 790 pro! Great job! I don't regret putting my money down on the 990...I did not like the 800 series
The launch of the 830E, the first of the 8 series, was in 2008. I am not going to say how long ago that was LOL, but I will say it's time for something ALL new and exciting!

The Creative Center classes are always very good. We even send our teachers to take those classes sometimes, because you learn so much. I hope you have a wonderful time!

I still have the machine behind you and the 790 plus. I hope the new machine is just like the 790 only bigger with some added features. I hope the bobbin winder is just like the 790 also. I did not like the bobbin winder on the 800 series.
BERNINA has told us it will have the same bobbins as the 4, 5, and 7 series. I would suspect the bobbin winder will be different and the machine have many of the features of our 790/790Pro/880/880Plus machines and also ADD to those features. I am so excited to see what they've done!
My dream and desire for this machine is for it to also have the capability to connect and use Coloreel Technology. After all, this technology is already being used in the Bernina E16 PRO. In that fashion I only have to be only concerned about my design composition, not with frequent color thread changes. and for the 990 to really have a very big bobbin or system so I could stitch 1.000.000 stitches without being concerned of reloading or changing the bobbin thread either!!!!
That's a very interesting idea! We are going to find out just in a few days what new tools we will have in our BERNINA belts.
Any ideas about the eyeball below the slider?
I have a Bernina 570qe it sews alright when piecing 2 seams together but it cannot sew when sewing or piecing 6 layers which would only be corner sq unit to a 1/2 sq unit. They told me to sew at 50% pressure but it still won’t sew over seam. When I went to my first quilt class it was broken on decorative stitches machine would only sew backwards. I feel it was a wast of money my cheap machine can sew these seams flawlessly same with the Juki. Would anybody be able to give advice?
It still looked like they kept the oval hoops!!!!
Round = better tension across the fabric, and that's the most important thing!
and we have the knowledge that our feet, the 4/5/7 series bobbins, and the current hoops will work. You won't have to buy e v e r y t h i n g again.
