I dont mean to spread negativity here but this is a fun project for doing 1-2 hats or so, for embroider hats to make a living out of it its just a hassle, I discovered the hassle and bought a Melco industrial machine instead and BOOM wow what a great machine and making 100 hats in no time at all, or even 2-300. But for someone just want to have fun with the PE900 and make a couple of hats for the family and friends this is the way to go. Thanks for the video :D

Not everyone can afford a multi needle machine. We all would love to be able to drop that kind of money. Meanwhile, we’ll work with what we have and appreciate this video.

Yes, if you are doing this for a business you would not want to make hats like this......BUT for those who only have a single needle machine and want to make a hat, this is an option for them! Glad you are enjoying your Melco for hats!!

applique letter would be cute too. yrs ago there was someone invent a gadget for brother 770 than used a timber clip board. they cut out centre i think. and the metal clip held the bill of cap.. i have to see if its still on yt.

Hmm it depends on your market but I would say between $16- $25 is what we charge for our embroidered hats
