While we've been focusing on CO₂, the real solution has been hiding in plain sight. What if the secret to mitigating climate change is already flowing all around us? It starts with understanding the most powerful force we’ve overlooked: the water cycle.
Water is the most powerful force on Earth-not just in shaping landscapes, but in restoring life. Yet, we’ve broken the water cycle through deforestation, soil degradation, and poor land management. The result? Droughts, floods, wildfires, and a climate spiraling out of control.
But there’s hope. Across the world, people are using simple, nature-based solutions to bring back water, revive ecosystems, and cool the planet. From reforestation to regenerative farming, these methods are restoring balance-and you can be part of it.
Watch to discover how water can heal the Earth, and how we can fix the water cycle together.

2:42 Where I live, we don't have soil, we have sand. I love to garden so I put up an Intex pool with some Koi and used the pond water to feed the plants. There were no bugs except Mosquitoes and ants when I first started but the pond changed that, we started getting Dragonflies and other bugs who need water in their life cycle. We started getting birds and lizards too because now they had a source of water AND bugs to eat. We get new wildlife every single year and it makes me happy in my Soul ❤
Where do you live?
If you don't mind sharing
Excellent. I think there are what, 40 million acres of lawn in the US? That’s a good place to start, teaching homeowners their piece matters and how to do it.
I covered a large part of my backyard and planted fruit... my mowing is much less. Also, raise the deck on the mower so the grass is taller. You can double the amount of carbon your front yard can sequester.
@@jcrockett870 Same, reduced the lawn size with edible alternatives (and plants that attract bees) and cut far less off the grass when it's mowed. I live in an area where it gets really dry in summer, everyone's lawn dies, except mine, as the extra length keeps the ground cooler and retains just a little more moisture.
@@sportysbusiness you should move beyond invasive ryegrass and bluegrass to something more useful to your ecology (if you can obviously)
I highly agree with your aspect that we definitely need to restore our landscapes.
However, this sounds a little like CO2 is not a problem. It is still causing raising global temperature, melting the poles and flooding a lot of land and causing floodings.
Planting trees can even increase the global temperatures due to a higher albedo of the planet and getting more water into the atmosphere, which is also a potent greenhouse gas (water in the atmosphere is causing the natural greenhouse effect that keeps our temperatures at night). Still we destroyed a lot of nature so as long as we only restore nature we do not run into that issue.
Apart from that, really like your video!
Beaver restoration!
LET THE BEAVERS GROW 🦫
But whattabout the resale value of the home owners association?!?!?!
Excellent video, and so important!
Very nice said !
Thank you ❤😊
Thank you for your wise counsel and for explaining the water cycle. Moving from water sheds to water catchments. Beautiful. I love that the water catchment basins function best in small decentralized formats. We need more of our tech on a homestead/neighborhood block scale.
and what about stratospheric aerosol injection? that plays a huge part on weather.
Yes. It's so obvious now. I see them shoot the line. And right behind it a black cloud follows it.
@@Beparepa I think she was talking about aerosol from the plants
@@Beparepa😂😂😂
Environmental Engineer here totally agree with this, see half moon ponds and Africa great green wall
Dew/Fog nets should help, especially given the extra water content in the atmosphere in a warmer world.
Circumventing and outmode-ing large land ownership/mismanagement would be nice too
Beautiful video full of hope and ideas
❤❤
Water is one of the most powerful substances that Our Creator made!!!
such an important message, thank you
11:42 What if we can restore the persides fire in southern California into wet lands California won't have anymore fires again
California will always have fire
It needs fire
The wildfires are from the removal of small fires (and energy companies being cheapskates, but that's beside the point)
We have depleted so much of the water table that most of our water comes from, we need to begin to try and figure out how to replenish it
California needs to learn from this man
A great place to start is getting used to purifying sewage water
Thank you, man. We all in it..
Yep
Learn to adapt
Let's make California a wetlands again
@@MrBugman2525make America great again
Truly great, not the Fascist shit
Screw you Google
Didnt this guy get in trouble with the state and had to demonstrate how and what he was doing?
I am the river and the river is me.
Coughs, 😔
By 2030: Global freshwater demand is predicted to exceed supply by 40%. This means that many regions will experience significant water stress and shortages.
By 2040 Roughly 1 in 4 children worldwide will be living in areas of extremely high water stress.
Ongoing Severe water scarcity is already a reality for many people around the world. As of 2023, 2 billion people lack access to safe drinking water.
This channel and program are well funded. However i dont see link to who is funding.
Increased biomass will help with co2.
He claims climate is 70 percent water cycle. However he doesn't provide libks to the scit.
I am into water recovery and recovering degraded land. However not enough to havecacmajor impact on climatecchange.
At "worst " you get a nice pond? I accidentally made a tiny pond in my allotment and a frog moved in, I was extremely happy.
I was also thinking about commenting about his apparent denial that fossil fuels are fueling climate change. Growing more stuff and reversing desertification are important. Water is VERY important and a crucial part of regenerative agriculture and ecological restoration, but we absolutely need to get off of fossil fuels too, and increase use of renewable energy sources...increase efficiency, etc.
Bro, 3 minutes in and you're still stuck on the same point. I didn't come here for indoctrination or a purity test, I came here for knowledge
From what I've seen, the videos are focused on convincing people of the importance of the knowledge they have, which is available through their paid courses. They don't owe anyone their knowledge, but if you find actual actionable info that allows you to actually put anything into practice, I'd love to know.
Its sad that the people who have the power to make and propagate changes are only interested in getting paid to make changes. If these guys actually cared about reviving the planet it wouldn't be hundreds of sales pitch videos it would be videos with information we could use to actually make changes
Co2 arent a potent greenhouse gass, and concidering how weak it is we also have to remember that the atmosphere only have 0.04% Co2 in it, and if it drop down to 0.02% all plant life dies including us. But it can rise to 0.05-0.08% without making any difference, beside plants will grow faster, larger and use less water.
The earth adjust itself, nothing is permanent and everything goes in circle, now the magnetic north and south pole are moving faster and faster untill they meet around siberia and india, then we will have a new ice age again.
How can water stop Milan Kovitch cycles ? lol
obviously can't, but it can ameliorate the effects. Climate Mastery is the answer, especially of the sort that stabilises the dynamic equilibrium, like improving or restoration of the water cycle.
You know how slow Milankovic cycles are?
Life can adapt to it. Life can't adapt to the market
Constant--climate is always changing.
You can't control if the sun burns hotter or cooler as it does in its own cycles.
You can't control the orbit of the Earth around the sun. In case you weren't aware our orbit is not constant as it is now, it has a longer change one in which we are significantly further from the sun.
Anthropogenic changes probably have some real regional effects due to land use.
Anthropogenic changes have very global effects
Basically noone lives on Antarctica and Greenland, yer they are the most affected by global warming
Just has never changed at this rate
Great content my friend, you earned a sub from me
