Hozier is so slept on. It s criminal. People won't let go of Take Me to Church and really dig into his catalog. He should have been nominated for a Grammy for Wasteland Baby. I mean his lyrical content alone, set aside his vocal ability and song composition.
Nina cried power and arsonists lullaby are to my mind two of the most impressive songs by hozier and stand above so many other singers. The talent is obvious, they carry a strong message on difficult matters to discuss and to my mind the delivery is like a poet of old.
Nina Cried Power is my favorite song honestly. But I also think Wasteland, Baby and Be are amazing. Like they're love songs but they speak to that existential anxiety so common nowadays with climate change and other issues going on
I'm a 60 year old woman and I absolutely love him!!!..... I'm moved just the way you are!!! It flows so sweetly from him!!!.....I could listen to him 24/7 ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Angel of small death and the codeine screen is great as well as him singing the humors of whiskey. There was a short lived medical drama called Code Black that in their third season did a musical episode and featured Angel of Small death, I think it’s one of the best musical episodes in recent years, especially for a medical drama.
Funny I thought I never liked Hozier because take you to church, you just couldn't get away from. Literally everything else he has done I love, his catalogue is unreal. What an amazing artist
Please please do Nina cried power. It’s about a mix of things, the civil rights movement and blues music, the people in music who were a part of it and inspired him . Specifically Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Billie Holliday, James Brown, and Mavis Staples. Mavis actually sang with him on it.
Hey, did I miss something? I know there are some more or less trad songs like 'humours of whiskey' and 'ae fond kiss' but if there is anything actually in gaelic by him I still have to discover it
Omygod you so need to see his performance in France one time where an entire Black church choir just showed up in the middle of the audience and started singing along with him. It forced him to get much better with it, because I think he's tired of singing Take Me to Church, or at least it seemed like it by the way he was singing it in the first verse... but once he heard them punch it up he just really got into it, and it was absolutely the most amazing thing. Especially the acapella part at the end! Search for "choir Hozier take me to church".
This song, it brings tears to my eyes. I can hardly stand it. And Nina Cried Power..., whenever I hear that AND watch the video I'm bawling. What a voice, what a lyricist.
Saw him perform at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The band, his vocals, and the acoustics there mixed so well creating a symphony of just pure beauty. The audience and ambience might be my favorite of any artist I’ve seen.
I love watching you enjoy this performance! Hozier’s music does something so physical and spiritual to me, and I feel like you get all the same feels. ❤😁
Ooooooh I literally saw you melt into a puddle right in front of us.... But I too have to admit that his voice evokes emotions without even trying very hard. Everything about this was perfect, from Hozier to his musicians and background singers to the reactor. Loved it!!
Very nice reaction video. I hadn't heard this song by Hozier yet but I love his voice. Have you seen the video where he is in the subway station in New York and just pops off singing take me to church ????????? It is so incredible. My husband didn't like Hozier at all until I was scrolling through RUclips music videos and I found that video and I think it was being recorded on a phone but I clicked the video so fast and my husband was like NO NO NO NO honey don't you get tired of listening to that song ( it's on my playlist) cause I would play it back to back. But anyways I was like nope , never. So I played and watched the video and it was so so SO GOOD . But it shocked me because after my husband heard that version he was like Damn he was good and I said finally, you finally hear the soul in his voice. And girl the runs he was doing when he sang the AMEN part were insane. He could sing I'm a little tea pot and I'd buy it
The only regret you will have in listening to Nina Cried Power is that you didn’t listen before now ( that’s assuming you’ve not heard it). Mavis Staples (you saw her when the Staples sang with The Band on “The Weight”) joins him for that one. Also, try out “Arsonist’s Lullaby” - such a deep song and he is on point in that one…but that’s expected right?
You should listen to him singing lagon love traditional Irish song his vocal range is unbelievable and he is so underrated, an Irish man with soul who would ever have guessed
I have seen hozier twice once at the Brixton's academy and once at the London palladium they are one of the few bands worth the price of the ticket if you get a chance GO
Love it when ppl love and respect the bog man the way he deserves. 🙏🏾 Check out NFWMB and Nina Cried Power is a MUST (the live version or nothing at all though, it is legit 🔥) ooh and To Be Alone live at the church is also incredible. It’s just him and his guitar but it’s so damn bluesy and good.
Frickin awsome. Channel Rouge your so honest and real big Ups to you. Got an Oldie to consider Bozz Scaggs Hey Miss Sun Live version. Much love and Aloha!
If you love Hozier you should check out Paolo Nutini's Iron Sky. Especially the live version at Abbey Road. Well now I feel stupid thinking you wouldn't have heard Mr. Nutini. As usual, lovely honest reaction. Subscribed.
I Love your reactions to songs dude, your a diamond in the rough😆✌ Could i suggest a couple of songs for you to react to Whitesnake:Is this Love and/or Foreigner:Waiting for a girl like you☺thankyouuuuu and never stop what your doing✊❤
He's got an amazing voice. Nina Cried Power is one you should listen to next. There's a version that was done live with Mavis Staples on Ellen that's really good, and one that was recorded in the studio with her as well. I might also suggest you watch the Russian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin dancing to Take Me to Church. Hozier was so impressed with it he asked him to perform in the official video for Movement. ruclips.net/video/c-tW0CkvdDI/видео.html
Are you doing this fulltime? I'm getting into the thick of reacting and I'm realizing how much time this will actually take. Any tips for me? lol if you don't mind, I know you probably getting a million comments
You might like a cover of his song "Take Me to Church" by Morgan James with Scott Bradley on piano, her voice is heaven and her repertoire of covers are amazing and endless!😉 Peace and Love.
Looooooove Hozier. Another man with incredible soul was George Michael. This live gospel version of One More Try is stunning: ruclips.net/video/YaGVUE2-jKM/видео.html

Absolutely. The fact that the worst of pop music gets nominated for Grammy's but not him, tells us all we need to know about the Grammy's.
idc that means more hozier for me and they ain’t listening to him i could gatekeep every song 💀
Take me to church blew my mind how good it was
I’ve been streaming a good portion of his songs- my friends are probably annoyed that i ask them to listen to him everyday💀
Absolutely agree!!❤🔥 this is pure Mastery and so urgent for people to hear.
Nina cried power and arsonists lullaby are to my mind two of the most impressive songs by hozier and stand above so many other singers. The talent is obvious, they carry a strong message on difficult matters to discuss and to my mind the delivery is like a poet of old.
YEEEZZZ! These two are my favorites also.
Nina Cried Power is my favorite song honestly. But I also think Wasteland, Baby and Be are amazing. Like they're love songs but they speak to that existential anxiety so common nowadays with climate change and other issues going on
He’s exhausted during this performance but still blew us away.
It's just to the brink of being TOO much when you hear his voice.....he just torturing us with his gorgeous voice.....and we beg him for more!
I'm a 60 year old woman and I absolutely love him!!!..... I'm moved just the way you are!!! It flows so sweetly from him!!!.....I could listen to him 24/7 ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hozier has one of the smoothest voices in the music buisness and sound almost the same live as he does in the actual song. No auototune needed
I absolutely adore Hozier! His passion reminds me of my love for Paolo Nutini and how raw he is live!

You should hear some of his Irish Songs. Singing in Irish Gaelic
Hey, did I miss something? I know there are some more or less trad songs like 'humours of whiskey' and 'ae fond kiss' but if there is anything actually in gaelic by him I still have to discover it

Awesome!!!!!!
That was such a sweet performance. The love and admiration flowed both ways. He was his usual humble, lovely self.
He was sick during this .but this song is so smooth and raw and the ending is done in a typical irish keening sound its just amazing
I said the same. Juust to hear His Beautiful voice.
he's a legend... that voice, so soulful... loved your reaction
I was lucky to meet him during his promotional visit to Sydney few years back, he’s a lovely guy, seen his shows couple of times as well
This song, it brings tears to my eyes. I can hardly stand it. And Nina Cried Power..., whenever I hear that AND watch the video I'm bawling. What a voice, what a lyricist.
Idk if youve seen the Nina cried power live with mavis staples WOW .. like i cried.
Wow, I could also listen to him all day long (or night)
Saw him perform at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The band, his vocals, and the acoustics there mixed so well creating a symphony of just pure beauty. The audience and ambience might be my favorite of any artist I’ve seen.
When he sing when you move I move I cant stop going, just like that. Ludacris!
I love watching you enjoy this performance! Hozier’s music does something so physical and spiritual to me, and I feel like you get all the same feels. ❤😁
I love his music as well. I think it is powerful because he sings about real life with the pain and the joy
Ooooooh I literally saw you melt into a puddle right in front of us.... But I too have to admit that his voice evokes emotions without even trying very hard. Everything about this was perfect, from Hozier to his musicians and background singers to the reactor. Loved it!!
Love his voice, his style... From Eden is my favorite of him!

Another great reaction would be Paolo Nutini ‘Iron Sky”. You will love it!

CHECK OUT "PIANO IN THE DARK" BY BRENDA RUSSELL (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
Could you do " Heaven in your eyes" by T-Connection.
Another gem you might like is Jude.
Mónica Naranjo - Avui vull agrair (Amazing Grace)
Hozier has so much soul and i feel like a lot of non white lesbian girls ( his fan base) lol miss out on him. But he got soul and flow
Lankum - tiny desk concert ;)
THe best live band in pop music, alongside Jason Mraz's maybe. I might be a bigger fan of his band than of hozier himself
Are you doing this fulltime? I'm getting into the thick of reacting and I'm realizing how much time this will actually take. Any tips for me? lol if you don't mind, I know you probably getting a million comments

React to Juice Wrld
This man has never missed a beat and yet he is still not considered a king in his own right. Its blasphemy
Looooooove Hozier.
Another man with incredible soul was George Michael. This live gospel version of One More Try is stunning: ruclips.net/video/YaGVUE2-jKM/видео.html
Vocals….
After Pavrotti, and Pink Floyd this is kind of a let down. Of course this is from an older man, rather than a young woman🤣
Check out his new stuff. I really love this song of his but this performance isn’t his best, he’s definitely exhausted here.
