I really liked Transcendence, it's a different type of experience than most summer blockbusters. It may not be the best, but I found some elements to be really intriguing, thought-provoking and memorable, followed by some really good performances by the leads. It's visually striking to. I'm glad to hear that the bluray's technical presentation is lacking on problems. I'm really looking forward to buy it. Still, great review as always. I ALSO LOVE, ADORE AMERICAN PSYCHO PAL :)

You know, I don't know why, but as soon as I saw the trailer for the movie, I had a really strong feeling that it wouldn't be the movie it set out to be. I don't know if it was studio interference or what, and I haven't read the original screenplay, but for some reason I could just tell there were too many cooks in the kitchen.
Hey John Connor, did you know that Terminator 2 had a huge spoiler going on that was ruined thanks to trailers and marketing? Everyone expected Arnie to be the bad guy and from teasers people expected the T-1000 to be a human. Watch the movie and you'll notice that up to the first meeting of the Terminators and Connor there's no real indication that the T-1000 is actually a cyborg and that the T-800 is actually on a protection mission.
John since you love American Psycho so much (And if you have a region free player), you should try get a hold of the Australian transfer from Sony, I have it and it looks wonderful.
