En primer lugar, con esa cantidad de vueltas a 220 V, es casi un corto circuito.
La velocidad es proporcional a la frecuencia e inversamente proporcional al número de polos, es decir que a mayor cantidad de polos, el motor es más lento.
La ecuación para las RPM es muy sencilla
RPM= 60×F/p, donde RPM son las revoluciones por minuto, 60, 60 segundos, F frecuencia en Hz y p par de polos.
Eso significa que un motor ac, máximo puede girar a 3000 - el deslizamiento, desde allí para abajo según la cantidad de polos. Este motor es de 14 polos o sea 7 pares de polos, y eso representa 428 RPM
