I love to see how you still enjoying your job, every time you have a succeed on a reparation and a smile is drawn on your face. Thanks for sharing your job on RUclips. I say hi to you from Barcelona!

Thanks for posting your repairs. Just from watching you solder and troubleshoot devices has inspired me. Fixed my Microphone amp, LED TV, PAR light meter. This has saved me hundreds of dollars. Watching you solder has shown me how to solder much better. With that said, I am not as good as you but the more I solder, the better I get. I have order the low melt and the solder wick from you. Thanks for quick shipping.
I would love to see spread sheet showing a total of each laptop model fixed / no-fix to decided which ones are worth buying used. :-) I love what you do here adding value to life!
I’ve learned more from your program than I did in school. Clearly all negative reviews you get are from either jealous morons or just plain old stupid people. You do a great job and actually have clear pride in what you do. Ty for your time and knowledge.
Love your job! I do it as a hobby. The problem here in Argentina is that you can't find donor boards or buy products like amtech flux in a cheap way. Also is not easy to find chips to replace. Is a beautiful job. Keep it up. And don't waste your time with bad opinions. So far by watch your videos is easy to see that you're honest with your work.
I see a man happy and proud of his work eliciting enjoying it while at the same time sharing his insight and experiences with others. Good on you mate. Like seeing videos like this.
It's always that satisfaction when the device can turn it. It felt like a puzzle being solved. Great video. Make more of these please, with highlights of component failure.
As a Brit, I totally understand the self disappointment in begrudgingly drinking a cold cup of tea. Big props for getting it down while warmth remained.
OK, I had to redo my previous comment because......I just got my order of tweezers, needle tip bottles and flux. Firstly, you can tell immediately that it is real flux. Don't ask questions. You will immediately know. The bottles are perfect and are exactly what I needed. The tweezers. I may be a nerd but I am very picky with my tweezers because they take the most beating and do the most precise work. Your tweezers (Qianli Precision Tweezers bent and straight) and they are extremely light and strong. When I saw the tip I thought man, it might bend. Nope. If you bend them, you did something wrong. either by mistake or bad technique. Thank you very much. Can't wait to try them out on the PS5.
I solder as a hobby, on stuff like failed LED bulbs(I managed to repair a few :D) and other simple stuff, not laptops and phones, and that brush with one end with normal hairs and one end with steel hairs is an awesome tool I didn't know I needed! It's so easy when you clean and the normal brush isn't quite cutting it to just *_(whoop)_* flip the brush and you have a steel sponge!
Watching you work is so satisfying. I can only aspire to be half as good but I have learned a LOT in just two videos. Also, your deadpan joke delivery is stellar. LOLThanks for your time and effort.
Hello, I have been watching your videos for a long time, I am learning a lot with you, I am a newbie and thanks to you I practice from the videos I see, thank you very much for everything, greetings.
What I've been doing is 3D Printing my own plungers! Always made to fit :) You should probably do that to reduce cost and risk of customers like that when swapping with empty syringes. Plus you can brand your own plungers!
You are doing a great job showing how you repair and inspire repair guys like me ....at first I saw your videos I thought I would really follow you to be a guy like you cos I also love to repair....not for the money but for the smile that you get at the end of the repair when the device comes to lifr
Good work man, thumbs up. I like the excitement after success, I also feel so when i succeed. I like how your videos are real time and shows the repairs which fail, it very normally for some devices. Receive greetings from Kenya
You are an amazing teacher please keep up the great content. By the way your smile is contagious. Don't sweat the haters, they hate because they are not on your level.
I like to big up the work you is doing people have bad and negative things to say about your work I think you is the best technician working on alot of stuff keep doing what you are doing
Bless your hearts..because I couldn't handle dealing with regular users/people. Nooooo thank you. I tried doing sidework earlier in my career and was like "NOPE..not for me".
I really didn't think I'd enjoy your videos, but after watching them pop up in my recommended feed and watching them was really enjoyable. I really learn things as well, since I did study electrical engineering in school. Really relaxing videos too and quite an accomplishment to see you fix the products every time.
First one ! Always a pleasure to learn from you always something different, I have 12 years experience but still learning everyday thank you 🙏 fir all you hard work and May God Bless you and your family !
I have been watching your video since my collage. Your are just awesome with everything on electronics. I just loved it. Could you please make videos on every component you use while fixing the devices. Thank you
It is better to burn two fingers than entire hand! Great job repairing this common issue. Thanks to you making this videos I managed to warn my friends to not buy this laptop
I really like your videos it makes me feel calm, focus at the same time excited... wish i could learn more about micro soldering and other things.. Big Thanks from a fan from the Philippines... I just realized you really look like the guy from John wick chapter 1.
Thanks for all your hard work, I learned a lot watching your videos, and I apply your techniques repairing retro computers and retro game consoles :) Cheers from France !
Another big reason to use diffwrent syringes for flux (and paste), is that _the pistons_ that come in factory 10 and 30cc syringes, do not typically have _catches._ so they csn only use floating (no physical connection to the piston) plungers. That means you can't use plungers that _hook into_ the piston, which means you cannot pull on the plunger to relieve pressure from the compression of the piston, to prevent/stop oozing. When doing microsoldering work, especially if on a board you don't want to or cannot remove from its housing/machine, you want as much control of flux or paste volume as possible. You also don't want oozing syringes constantly messing up your work area with flux or solder paste. Funy enough, I did buy some good quality but fake 10cc syringes of amtech flux a couple of years ago, and ended up buying like 10 of them. Because they had pistons with catches and came with hook-in plungers, so I could pull on the piston.
I think you forgot to unplug battery connector before replace chip, but thanks for god it would not make fault ,,,,, All video time i was afraid about it , because i did same mistake and had troubles, Thanks , you are amazing
Definitely a master of your craft sir! Inspiring and a great fix, and the excitement seeing the fruits of your labor once a repair goes successfully, truly worth the watch.
I literally was just served up a HP X360 commercial as I wanted this video... Oh snap. I don't that was planned. Hmmm. Should or shouldn't I buy one. Decisions decisions :O)
I can say this, the solder wicks we use at work fray up on the ends very badly, with just minimal use. We arent using them on flat PCBs, usually, we are soldering camera wires onto USBs, but that solder wick you are using looks like a much higher quality than the stuff we are using.
As your supply of flux comes without syringe plungers that you have to provide to then ship out, would it make more sense and far less plastic waste to have your supplier provide the flux to you in recyclable containers instead of throw away syringes. Just seems a shame, that once empty, each syringe is potentially thrown away when It could perhaps instead be refilled. Just a thought. I have learnt so much since I found your work, thank you from Colin the UK.
Lunched in March 2015, these HP Spectre x360 seemed to be plagued with problems judging from the number of vlogs you done on these devices, Alex. In contrast, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T530, a laptop purchased in August 2012 that has only had a Wi-Fi problem. Having had memory and solid state storage upgrades and a couple of keyboard replacements, it is still my everyday laptop 10-years later. That stated, I do have a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 GEN for my electronics repair business, a laptop purchased to drive a 43" UHD (3480 x 2160) display.
I can totally agree on selling screen replacements. I sold a some working screens to (so called) friends, a few days later, the person told me they didn't work. So I was left with broken screens.
Thank you for your amazing videos and knowledge, i am a great admirer, i have a humble request, could you please make a video with steps on how to diagnose a dead motherboard on laptops and phones please sir. Thank you so much!!!
hello master. First of all, let me say that my English is terrible. I used google translate. I can understand some of what you are saying. :) Sorry for my english. I've been following you for a few months, you're awesome. I also have a passion for electronics. I can fix minor faults on my own. I would like to take off with you. :)) I would appreciate if you could explain it with a little more detail for people like me. Or maybe you are talking about details more than I understand. Could you give me some advice on self-development? What would your advice be about something? Should I study a strerio microscope or the kind of equipment you use? good work.
Hi. Cool video and cool "straight" hands you have 😄 could you tell what microscope you are using? Or perhaps even recommend a one which worth to buy? Thanks in advance
