Well as someone who played DFFOO for years and has spent 0$ and gotten many characters greened/maxed it's good to see that the gatcha system will be similar. Also seems to have interesting combat
This is a terrible game it's so boring cutscene cutscene loading screen 2-second cutscene loading screen 30 second battle loading screen the loading time is worse than the PlayStation 1 all they needed to do was make final fantasy 7 newer story but the traditional way
I hope this is just a proof of concept for a full set of remakes of VII-IX. As it stands it like way too much like a free to play mobile game rather than a proper remake for my tastes. I really hope they follow through with proper console versions without all the gacha.
I really hope they do a release of Ever Crisis as a remaster of the OG on switch or something later down the line so we have an archival version we can play. Mobile games don't last forever. I love the OG but if they have all the assets they may as well release it with the OG combat mechanics and no gacha once the servers shut down... Also wish it wasn't abridged
The FFVII ever crisis original game was the remake many of us wanted in the first place, a next gen remaster. Dont get me wrong, Remake is great and Im really looking forward to Rebirth and Ill be a gold chocobo that last one will be called Reunion. But Ever Crisis is gonna be sweet,
What are the gacha rates? Is it 5 dupes to max the weapons? Is it similar to FFRK? Final Fantasy Record Keeper if you didn't know. your response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@@tgtkai Well I would guess there will be some changes to the Advent Children portion of the game I mean you have to change soemthing if you turn in from a movie to a game :D
Without having it played I say yes if you like FFVII and your phone isn't 10 years old :D My only complained is that it is mobile only I mean Genshin Impact exists and that is a Gacha game as well. But maybe we will get it someday on console and PC without emulator
this looks insane, i've been dying for a streamlined maybe less janky version of 7 to play that isn't maybe as arduous as the 1997 edition or even the port for PS3/4/5. It also means i have a reason to own an iPad now instead of wondering why i bought it after all these years. thanks for the vid!
@@tgtkai i'm on my first playthrough of the ps5 remake and when it hits, it hits hard, when it misses.... yikes haha. some annoying mechanics and tedious missions but overall enjoying it. but definitely keen to try this version more of an update of the og rather than a reimagining! i hope so too, either way I'll be playing it!
Just keep in mind this is not going to have the full ff7 game being playable, only a few levels can be explored like in the real full game, the rest are just cutscenes like in other mobile games
I don't think the game will do well. A lot of people complaining that the AUTO feature is too strong. You can clear all the content with it, and there's really no reason to not use it because it's just god-like in reacting to things.
From what I understand, they're going to be adding more story every few months. It is just a beta for now, but afaik it will be launching with the full original ff7 plot
It's looking to be a hard pass for me, and I judge this from just the home screen UI on the get go. I've played my fair share of gacha games to be too familiarized with that home screen, where the focus is to claim rewards and navigate through different pages, and eventually show you some "500% value" promo box waiting after your claim. This upcoming game gives me "Black Clover Mobile", "Eminence in Shadow: Master of the Garden", "Nino Kuni: Cross worlds", "Lineage 2: Revolution" monetization vibes where CP or Combat Power is the name of the game. The game's release might be different for sure, but I'm just holding my breath on this one for now.
For people that want the OG game experience and not what the Remake did, which can live with the fact, that this game, because its mobile trash, completely skips alot of scenes in order to keep the game as small as possible for mobile devices, it surely is worth playing, especially for peopel that never played the OG before so far and have no ways of gettign their hands onto the og But for absolute FF7 fans, I guess , persons like me, is this game an absolute disappointment from the moment on I realized, how much the game just "skips".. hopefully, shoudl ever come a PC/Console version isn't that the case anymore, but doubtful... because due to this you dont have the same experience with the game as like with the OG and that it should have been, but just looking bett,er a bit more modernnized here n there.... instead SE abuses this game just as a cheap gacha Cash Cow in order to cash in all the money with it that they pump then into makign the FF7 remake games for PS5. its just disappointing to see, how badly SE handles this great IP and the wishes of the longterm fanbase ...

Mobius was a great mobile game
It seemed very good so far hopefully it does do a good job of the original story for people who aint played it
So far it does seem pretty 1:1, I hope that keeps up

It’s a gacha f2p game, all content is free you can pay for currency that lets you pull weapons
so it isn't really a 1 for 1 remake and it skips out on a lot of the OG content that made it great? I'll stick with the OG version.

I have zero interest in a streamlined FFVII experience. I'll stick with the OG and the Remake. It being a mobile game makes it an easy pass as well.
