Well, to be fair, this narrator is closer to the Japanese pronunciation. In Japanese, the "i" is pronounced like the English "ee" and not the short "i" in "sit." The Japanese "r" is harder for English speakers though: it's a tapped sound that requires the tongue to be placed in between where the English "L' and "R" tongue positions are (easier to pronounce if you speak Spanish, but the Japanese "r" isn't trilled/rolled like Spanish is).

Shiphiroth didn't kidnap anyone. Tifa followed him to the Mt. Nibel reactor. Midgar is powered 9 Mako Reactors (0~8). The game of FF7 takes place on the world of Gaia. I could not finish this video so I don't know if they made anymore mistakes.
Come to think of it, I dont remember the original game ever stating the world of gaia.
@@ssbmdomr9390 The game itself only refereed to the world as "the planet". I can't remember if the game booklet or game guide did this too. Canonical extra material did.
You've made the right choice, I lost count on the amount of mistakes made in tis.....
If you guys haven't I'd really recommend doing a video on the world of the Final Fansy XIII trilogy, sure a lot of fanbois complained about it, but, the world they created for it is absolutely stunning and so deep when you go through *everything* that it's just amazing.

On the second in command... To note... from the extended lore, Tifa was the last person of the group to join Barret, given she wasn't really a member of avalanche until after Barret took over where everyone else is. Jessie's the second in command. Though Tifa had worked in the bar before Barret bought it in October 2007, and has known Barret and Marlene for 2 years prior to this as he was a frequent visitor. Prior to that point, an avalanche cell consisting of Biggs, Wedge, Jessie and 2 more boys and 1 more girl also worked out of the bar with a different leader.
Supposedly, Tifa didn't actually start working at the bar until March, given that she isn't of legal age until then. Though it makes me wonder what she did prior. I suspect it might've been waitressing, they went through a lot of trouble to put in the Good Luck restaurant which would've been right up Tifa's alley.
Barret bought the bar in October, around the time the Avalanche leader, Elfe, is assassinated in Before Crisis. (Also fun fact, Elena is a waitress in Wall Market during Remake and if you linger around specific places you'll hear vague references to her. Though you won't find her, unless the girl that gives you a CD is supposed to be her but despite looking similar I doubt that's her.)
Barret's simply a leader of a splinter cell of avalanche, one that's chosen to take drastic action in the face of their group leader's "assassination." He doesn't know that Rufus and the Turks arranged to "fake" her death.

Second to last paragraph is from before crisis, and last paragraph is basically known across the compilation, including the original game if you played the Japanese version. Also very last sentence, just common sense... Elfe is publicly executed in sector 5, only the Turks know she wasn't killed. (She's the daughter of the turks' real leader, Tseng is just a fill-in for leadership.)
I'm pretty sure canonically the pink thing is a giant mechanical Moogle. I don't remember where I heard this from, but I remember hearing that Cait Sith is actually a stuffed animal owned by Reeve. It's not really explained but it seems he has the ability to bring these things to life and take control of them remotely from any distance.

While playing the remake, some of the cutscenes didn’t make sense to me but this video cleared up that confusion and now I understand
The golden saucer was not built upon the ground of corel. It was built in the middle of a desert. The tram car loading point originates there.
Actually, Corel IS the prison. And the mako reactor (near North Corel) turned the forest into a desert. Look at the main house (Dyne's house) in Barret's story : it is in the prison, in the south near the truck. Dyne never quit his town, nor his past life. North Corel was built by the survivors of Corel after Shinra destroyed their town.
Let me fix this for everyone: Final Fantasy follows the same format, but it's perfected in Final Fantasy 7: O Fortuna/Sefirot. It's Kabbalah, those who would defy fate (the fates) - in this Those Who Fight, and manifesting destiny (Zodiac/Tarot). Cloud is cloud because he has his head in the clouds, detachment personality disorder, wants to manifest into the hero - hero's journey - to become strong enough to save the world and then he can love (why he's so detached). Aeirth is a literal Manifestation (Fate creates her/guide) of that, a way to love at a distance and be loved, hence why she departs (you shouldn't fall in love with your spirit guide, but often do) at a certain point. Sephiroth is Sefirot, the final gate, the gate keeper, to ensure that only those with power break free/control destiny (not about right/wrong - about power). I liked what the remake did with Aeirth better, but get why the original did what it did. Still, that's why it works. Also in the remake, the Honey Bee stuff - people (heroes) get stuck on the journey through romantic love and settle in a dying world - a honey trap (why people call each other honey) - and it stalls/ends their journey - Cloud gets it right, you come with me, but we can't live and love here until this is resolved. It is allegorical for our world - all the same things are here (just look at how there's some sponsor called Honey everyone promotes on RUclips).

Well for once we don't have to wait for part 2 in 10-15 years and I'm happy but worried about that hopefully, if they made changes to the original story line, they're good changes.
Sadly, you guys are going to need to rethink the storyline. The Remake is not really a remake of the original FFVII, but more a continuation. The evidence is in the translated ultimania that was leaked. The fact that the 3 arbiters you fight are Loz, Yazu, and Kadaj from Advent children, what looks like has happened is that the planet, Gaia, ends up causing the extinction of the human race, as evidences by the scene 500 years after meteor was stopped with Holy and the life stream. Sephiroth has done something to open a portal in order to have a second chance at absorbing the lifestream, either goes back in time, or if we were to say the multiverse is a thing here, he opened a portal to a new possibility by attempting to change certain events.

It's not weird. In Japanese, the "shin" is pronounced "sheen."
No no no it's definitely not pronounced like how she says it in this video. Go watch the creative process videos and the interviews with the Nomura and Kitase and see how they pronounce Shinra.

Around 3:20 you hear Kitase pronounce this. Yes it's not how English speakers would say Shin but there's no emphasis on Sheeen like how she says it here. This Shinra, like how the rest of the world pronounces it, is completely acceptable and rightly so.

Why does everyone in the media and on youtube think the next FF 7 remake game is in 10-15 years?
Forreal, they already have a bunch of assets done and ready to go. The only thing I fear is moving to the next version of the Unreal Engine (or trying to make it for both bc lbh the next part is probably going to be on both PS4 and PS5) causing hiccups in the development of the next part. Once that’s done tho, I could see parts 3+ going way smoother.

The remake inherently doesn’t stand up to the OG... it’s only the most boring, linear part of the original game. I have no idea how Square intends to bring the giant original world from the PS1 game to fully HD modern glory. Ideally it’s a giant open world like FF15... but that’s a pretty monumental task. They’ve set themselves up for success with the first installment, but getting all the pieces right for the rest of the story, what they change, how they do it... again I have no idea. The first installment was a great teaser for possible expansion, how they end up making it work or not work is up to them. I hope they go for it and knock it out of the park, but holy cow is it a giant undertaking, one it seems like they’re doing kind of begrudgingly. The remake seemed to have a kind of advisory attitude toward the fans of the game, I thought the little spirit guys guiding everything toward a predetermined outcome were a bit of a shot towards the fan base wanting things a certain way. The seemingly begrudging nature of the teams attitude toward the fans has me a bit concerned.
... but that’s just my two cents.

It was ok. but I'm sorry, the fact that you don't include the events of Advent children and the impacts { I.e. that this game is not just a remake but a direct sequel to that film) of that movie means to Aerith, Cloud, Sephiroth, and the swarms of specters, means there's a definitely a ceiling to how right this thing can be.
That "marshmallow demon thing" is a huge moogle, almost as common as the chocobo throughout the FF games. If you're going to do a lore of FF7 video, you ought to have done your research better.

@@georgehatzimanolakis1904 Actually there are 14 all in all. 9 from Midgar alone, then 1 each starting from Fort Condor, Junon's underwater reactor, Corel, Gongaga, and finally Nibelheim. There was supposed to be 2 more that were never built such as the Modeo Reactor and the Wutai Reactor. You can learn more from the wiki about them.

A total of nine reactors were built in Midgar: eight surrounding the city, one for each sector, and one underground to power the Shinra Headquarters and the base of Deepground.

Another FFVII video written by someone who either doesn’t know anything about, or has never played the game. At no point does Sephiroth “kidnap” Tifa in the Nibelheim incident. She follows him to exact revenge for killing her family and the towns people. Also, you say Midgar is powered by SIX Mako reactors, when there is a reactor clearly numbered EIGHT in the video clip you’re voicing over. No fact checking. No review process. Just a poorly made video trying to get clicks for ad revenue. Shame. I’m done with the Leaderboard. There’s just no quality assurance or care put into making sure they’ve got their facts correct.

This video literally ruins the game in the first minute or two if you’ve never played the original. Finding out Cloud never made it as Soldier was one of the main reveals/plot twists. Needs a spoiler warning at the start, not a line saying ‘if you’re new to the series, he’s a guide’. This is not a ‘guide’, it’s a refresher.
Final fantasy remake the game I honestly think the final fantasy game really looks incredibly awesome ever. Uh I actually think this game very amazing ever I like it alot.
