Had also problems with at the end a TMC blue screen of death. Got new sandwich and u buddy board, also a new connector cable for a tool head which is spare now. Prusa support rocks though.
I just replaced the same PCB’s. First print on tool 2 failed just like your tool1. I did push the tool 2 reset button and 2 short prints were good. Still hoping.
@@monkeybraincreationssounds like something is braking the board? Something in between board and toolhead, it might be something trivial like a connector being soldered wrongly (I am just guessing but as a DIY guy I once burned a couple of microcontrollers so now I always check all the connections with multimeter to ensure that something that shouldn't be connected isn't...)
You’ll love it. Mine took months to get working right and had so many more problems but it’s my favorite now. I’m even thinking about getting a second one even though Prusa is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I bought fried chicken from a homeless guy one time and got better customer service.
@ that’s what Prusa claims but the truth is they are one of the worst companies to deal with. I just ended up buying all my own parts rather than spend the time jumping through all the hoops and waiting days for them to respond to each email. Several times I purchased parts and fixed the machine before they even replied to me.
very nice that it's working again. The Prusa service is really great
great, nice to have it up and running again i bet👍
Thank you. Please keep documenting.
