  • Episode 2: Here I take inspiration from many of the dragon fruit trellis designs I found online. I put my own spin on it to hopefully improve the durability of the design. It is designed to be durable, moveable, and pleasing to look at. Included are all the materials I used, design choices, and build walkthrough.
I also have 5 updates that I made to this design. See the Trellis update video here:

Great concept. Agree, you want the trellis to be clean looking in your garden. Great video and new subbie as I keep getting ppl donate cuttings. It’s just wrong to adopt plss as Mrs and not look into how to grow them. Thankyou for a great video. 🌵🌵🌵👏🏻👏🏻

@Dragon Fruit Dude, the material you forgot to mention also done by other people are, burlap covering the post areas for the airial roots to cling to& climb as well -the goal to train the stems to shoot straight up the post as fast as it's able from growth?.

Hi, why not use cedar or redwood for the 4x4 and 2x4 legs? Save the $ and times.

Hey @TimHoSD, I want this trellis to last >10 years. I didn’t want any wood to be in the water + dirt because over those 10 years the wood will break down. So I tired to find a solution where wood did not touch wet soil.
