I wanted to hear this initially because I've met the bass player, Julian Lofton, a couple of times when he was working with a DC singer named Hayley Fahey. Julian is just one of the best people you'll ever meet. So I checked it out. I haven't stopped dancing since. I'm so obsessed with this song, I need treatment for my obsession.😃 And the video is one of the best I've ever seen. Pure energy and fun!
Saw an article on Metal injection about a Djent soul band didn't have expectations but holy damn. I love this. Great production, Great melodies, loving the harmonies, Great phrasing at the vocals, Heavy guitars are used just enough and not over done so they fit perfectly to the song. The bass and guitars work very well together, very fitting drum beat. Like damn.
Yeah... A great song, a Fender Bass VI, an 8-string, a drummer who clearly enjoys anime, and an MV where everyone looks like they sincerely love what they're doing? This definitely fills a hole in my listening habits that I didn't know existed!

The djent note is an obvious choice for funk. Nu metal barely did it with Korn having a funk influence, but the "djent" wasn't quite there.
