I have a R/T 178 and have had it for 2 years. Been wanting to upgrade to the R/T 188 for the additional room and storage. I find the 178 is a bit cramped with 2 guys fishing a tourney. With me just fun fishing its fine. Thanx 4 the short gooood video!!!👍😃🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Hey Jerry I obviously I’m not the creator of the video but I have a 2020 188p and I am 250lbs and my buddy is about 275lbs….he was on the back and I was on the front deck and that sucker barley fluctuates when moving around. It’s incredibly stable. I came from a Tracker 175 and we had to mindful and careful when standing on same side cause it would shift so much. Hope that helps you some. They are fantastic boats!
Nice looking boat. Plan to get a aluminum boat here in a couple of years. I like the ranger and the trackers. Hope to get down to Fork one of these days.
Hey James thanks for the rundown on your friends boat, do you think the storage is about the same as the the RT 188? With the gas tank under the seat it seems like you loose a lot of storage? Was the performance about the same or better than your boat? Thanks!

I'm absolutely looking for an aluminum JUST LIKE THAT Ranger but I don't want carpet and I prefer a 150hp. Thoughts?
