Another brilliant idea, not to mention stretching our supplies. Thanks so much for sharing this ❤❤❤ edit: I just realized that this solves a problem with a particular die set I have! I'm so excited!!!! And ohmyGOSH!!!! I love hummingbirds and these are soooooo sweet 😍😍😍
Thank you for sharing how to keep the cost down and for being able to make colored cardstock when we aren't able to get some of our favorites... no need to panic! Thanks for sharing Jennifer!
You are the most creative and innovative crafter I know. I have watched all of your videos and have followed you for years, anxiously awaiting your next tutorial. You really bring so much joy and happiness to people with every upload, and I wanted to share that with you. You have been a true inspiration in my life.
Thank you so much for doing another video using the gel press! I'm so excited seeing a new idea for it. Really like your cards & no fussy colouring. Yay!
I have used many of your ideas. You cause my brain to go into overdrive with my own ideas once I have watched your tutorial. You are a very creative person and I never miss a post.
I really enjoyed watching all these cards being made and was thinking how you must be enjoying making these. It is amazing when shortcuts make things faster, easier and so much more efficient. Thank you once again for the tips, tricks and visual delights.
Beautiful Cards Using Inks & Die Cuts Girl! New to your channel, been watching Tim Holden channel also and fell in love with card making plus so much more. Really want to add a cards & Ink station to my craft room that I’m trying to set up with what I have. Would love to see a craft room tour for ideas. 🤩🤩🤩
I am loving my gel press! It's fun to see the different backgrounds I get with using different colors! I just die-cut any of the ones that are not my favorites and it takes on an entirely different look!
I always enjoy your videos so inspiring. I have a new kit that has small colored flowers are the focus and so yeah... I'm doing this tonight THANKS for the time saver. Two projects (printed background paper and inked up die cuts) at one time I just love that.
Oh how Precious. Thanks for this. I never thought of using the gelpress like this and what a brilliant idea to have the diecuts act as a mask. Finally an excuse for me to use my jars of love and flower border dies and de sizzix dies more often. My mind is buzzing with autumn colored stenceling Ideas now.
I really appreciate that you consider what we crafters might already have to use so we don’t have to go out and buy something new. Great video Jennifer!
Jennifer, I've watched tons of your videos, but this one is just the BEST! I'm older and inking up die cuts this way is so helpful. Every card you created was creative and shouted Happy! Thank you so much for the wonderful creative ideas using die cuts and a gel press.
After watching this video I ordered my Gel plate and brayer.. I received it today... I'm soo excited.. Not only am I going to use this technique on my cards but also to my scrapbooking pages...Thank you for inspiring me to think outside of the box :)
I’ve said it before, but it is worth repeating. Genius Jennifer! I use my jewel picker to pick up the small die cuts to keep my finger clean. If I don’t, i will touch white card stock with colored fingers making a mess. Thank you!
I’ve been using Barely Art Glue for a while now and am very pleased with it. Easier to control than other liquid adhesive glues, dries clear, if you want to remove any over spill just rub with a microfiber cloth once dry, no separation of glued pieces. I use an acrylic brayer to roll over large pieces while the glue is still wet so the glue distributes more evenly between layers.
I have 3 Gel Press plates but have only used rhem with paint. That will now change thanks to this great method! You always give us such great tips to save us time and effort. Thanks so much!
I cut my own die cuts with my Cricut, I create my own border dies and framelets as well. Ya gotta make do when $$ is super tight. I also use white cardstock and colour them with a variety of mediums, either before or after cutting. I usually do a sheet or 2 as well to have them on hand. I love watching your videos 🥰
Love ❤️ your idea of using the gel press for inking the white die cuts. I have a bunch of white die cuts. I am definitely going to give that a try on my gel press. Also I absolutely love ❤️ your beautiful 🤩 cards too Jennifer.
I forgot to say something about the Bearly Arts glue too. Let me just say. I love ❤️ it. As a CRPS and Fibromyalgia sufferer in my hands I find it very easy to squeeze. It also sticks very well on acetate too, so if you are making shaker cards then it works awesome 😎 I have tried other glues and I have a hard time squeezing them but not Bearly Arts glue.
Thank you Jennifer because I have learned a lot from you, your explanation is very clear and practical without complications and with amazing results! I really enjoy your videos. I really admire your dedication and another thing is your organization and honesty.
Thank you, I really do like watching you. You make all your craft ideas easy and exciting to do. Sorry if this sound off but You have a great voice it relaxing .
Your AMAZING ❤️ Your videos are so clear and concise ☺️ You are so inspiring, seriously,You are an AMAZING crafter ! "Thank You for Sharing" This video is an A PLUS PLUS
The gel press is such a versatile tool! I was thinking it could save me a ton of money if i didn't have to buy cardstock for every color!! Awesome cards!!
Great and helpful ideas! I'll try to make my own colored cardstock with the gel press! Thank you for sharing these creative ideas! Absolute adore your creativity!💝
I was thinking the pick-up stick might help you pick up all the little die cuts quickly. I am loving all the Gel press videos! I mean I love all your videos but I think because this is new to me it's extra exciting!
Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your endless kindness! Thank you for your previous video of the shadow box cards. Would love you to please do inside shadow box cards and inside tunnel cards.
Oh my goodness. These cards are suoer gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing all these tips and tricks. I just bought a gel press yesterday (mainly because I love how YOU use it) and I can't wait to play with it. Btw, those hummingbird dies are the cutest.
These are so pretty! How fun and versatile is that banner die and sentiment combo!! I love your use of pearls too... reminds me to take mine out and actually use them! Thanks for always inspiring us
Nice ideas. To save a step, i ink the paper and die cut from that. I have a gellie plate, have had it for years, and never opened the package! I can use it to color the paper. thank you for more creative inspiration. 🥰
Oh boy!! Time to get out my gel press again. I bought mine last year after seeing your video on it. One of my best investments yet!! The solar white 110# paper is fabulous but is pricey! I do like the less expensive one you recommend too.
I think my next future purchase is a gel plate & brayer - I already have the inks so I don't need to purchase a whole mess of new supplies. At first I was of the opinion that putting together all those delicate pieces (of the flower & hummingbird die cuts) was going to be a pain - but it's just like piecing together a puzzle!
Nvr would have thought to use a gel press for this, but it does give you a bonus panel to use. I typically do ink direct to paper or blend it onto white cardstock and then die cut it
Dye ink on a gel press...brilliant!

Miss Jennifer you are extremely talented and you continuously amaze me, not only that you are a wonderful teacher thank you xxx. Jeliena (Tasmania)
I love how you demonstrated the option of flipping the die cuts face up vs. face down.
I really enjoyed watching all these cards being made and was thinking how you must be enjoying making these. It is amazing when shortcuts make things faster, easier and so much more efficient. Thank you once again for the tips, tricks and visual delights.
What a terrific way to expand your colour options when you have only white card stock. Love it❣️
Thank you Jennifer, such a quick and colourful way to make die cuts the colours you want - the card look lovely

Love how the stiched die cuts turn out!
Also, there are some great recipes for making a diy gel press, I’ve made round and square using cake pans!
I just got a gel plate asks have been looking for different ways to use it. I know this is an older video but it's been very helpful. Tfs!!
Oh boy!! Time to get out my gel press again. I bought mine last year after seeing your video on it. One of my best investments yet!! The solar white 110# paper is fabulous but is pricey! I do like the less expensive one you recommend too.
Hope you enjoy it!
More great ideas! Thanks, Jennifer!
Glad you like them!
Such a great inspiring video! I’ve got to try this❤️

Thanks So much !! I just ordered the Gel mats 5x7 and 8.5x11 🥰🥰
Amazing as usual! Thank you for sharing!
Nvr would have thought to use a gel press for this, but it does give you a bonus panel to use. I typically do ink direct to paper or blend it onto white cardstock and then die cut it
So fun and colorful 😍
Merci pour ces magnifiques idées et cartes !! ☺️
Love this! Thanks does not look as messy as some of my gel press ideas!
