OMG, 41 minutes is no problem at all, Jennifer. I love how you kept it real for this video. I no longer watch TV, Disney, never got hooked on Netflix. I would rather spend my money on products that give me unending hours of joy and creativity. Card Making has saved me during the pandemic.Your videos are one of the highlights of my week. A very heartfelt thank you for helping me with ideas to create more joy for others❣️ I don’t sell my cards. I spread joy and kindness to others thanks in part to you.
Most of your fans and students would not care if the video was 2 hours long. We need to see all your designs, design flaws and corrections. Your willingness to show all of your thought processes is a superb help to us all. Thank you for sharing. Praying God's special blessings on you, your work and your family.
There is no such thing as a Jennifer McGuire video that’s too long. Whatever kind of video you call it, I want to watch it. You always pass along something new and educational! ❤️
I agree with everyone commenting that there can never be, could never be a Jennifer McGuire video that is too long!! You provide SOOOO much important information in your videos, and a lot of what I create could never have happened if I had never seen them!! I think it’s so gracious of you to not assume that your viewers will willing watch a longer video, however, your unassuming manner is personally what I find to be part of your charm! As always, thank you for freely giving your fellow crafters such important, and rather ingenious, crafting ideas...please don’t stop 🤗🤗😻😻
I had received my Spellbinders "Small Die of the Month", the THANKS die cut the other day and have been creating with it. All the time I was stitching I thought of Jennifer McGuire and how much she loves stitching. I am thrilled that she did a video on this die, Thank You Jennifer!!! Always love to watch you create and share your ideas and techniques.
Thank you so much for sharing. I especially appreciated the comment about thinking about what part of this process I enjoy and do that part. I enjoy recreating other's cards, interspersed with some changing due to different supplies. But, I always feel guilty that I'm not a "real" card maker because I can't sit down and come up with ideas from scratch, like you and other talented makers do. That comment made my day.
Your video are never too long because they are full of info, beautiful technique and seeing your wonderful cards being made while we all watch you create.......always thanks for sharing.
Another wonderful video - thank you!!! 🥰 I personally LOVE your longer videos! 👍🏻 I watch just about all of them, multiple times, because I love your style and your voice is so soothing. I’m often laid up in bed with pain issues and your videos help distract me with paper loveliness!!! ❤️ Please know you are making a huge contribution for the crafting community!!!
I am really happy about your comment about being an overthinker and how it can be made into something positive. So true!! As a fellow overthinker, I so appreciate the care and preciseness you add to your cards. Love that your cards are properly lined up with no glue etc. showing...nothing sloppy. I believe that when we think about first of all whether we need the purchase, or what we would actually use it for, we are being stewardly. I find I have a lot less waste and "stuff" in my house (and I save money!).
I think this was my favorite video of yours, and I love them all! I loved your examples and ideas, but the raw honesty was wonderful to hear! Seeing all these edited videos for years and years, on this side of the camera can make you sometimes feel inadequate or something like that. When creators like yourself keep it real it really, REALLY helps end that feeling and frees me anyway to feel braver in exploring new ideas and possibilities. Thank you Jennifer for keeping it real! Crafty hugs!
The longer the video the more inspired I get. I have been stitching on cards and scrapbook pages for years...it is one of the most relaxing ways to embellish something and it costs next to nothing. Thanks for your inspiration and your creativity...you are awesome.
Thank you so much for actually saying that recreating is perfectly fine to do. So many artists and creators get upset or possessive over what they've made or come up with. When in truth, there is no new thing under the sun and it's all been done in some way, shape or form before. Recreating isn't stealing, it's just trying to improve, enjoying the process, and if anything, a compliment to the person who did it before. However it's done, creation is to be applauded, not possessed or kept to oneself. Great video and great inspiration, thank you again.
I had to chuckle about the 5 x 7 cards viewers encouraged you to try. When I first started making card over 45 years ago I just folded a full piece of cardstock in half and had lots of room to create a scene, etc. After a couple of years I noticed everyone was making the A2 size cards and I figured nobody wanted my giant cards anymore, so I switched to A2 cards. Isn't life an amazing circle of goodness? Thanks so much for sharing another video!! I love your way of teaching us and look forward to your videos the most.
You are so talented. I know this video is over 5 months old, but I really love watching you explain in details how you assemble cards. It is quite therapeutic for me. 🌺
Amazing as always! I would love to see a video on those containers where you keep extra sentiments and die cuts. Seeing how you organize scraps and extras would be so helpful! I never know how to store those sorts of things and end up forgetting I have them so they don't get used
I love the idea using the posted note so you don’t forget the idea that was in mind. These are all so beautiful, thank you for sharing and God Bless You.
Jennifer PLEASE do more videos like this! You may think you were all over the place, but I was so excited and inspired!!! I love the idea of using post it notes!! So mart! So many great ideas and techniques!
I love all of your videos. I find something helpful for my own process... in all of them. It definitely helps to know that it's a back and forth process for you too. All of my cards seem to evolve from my original idea. Thanks so much for all you do. I appreciate you!
Jennifer, it's been over a year now that I have subscribed to your channel. I am a pre-sales engineer for a tech company, and I LOVE your methodology for your videos and how you create. Thank you for posting this video - and sharing so much of your self as well as your passion for cards!
Your videos are always wonderful. I really value seeing the creative process of others--it helps me understand how to get into that creative space for myself. This is part of what I love about watching Gina K, Kristina Werner, and Cathy Zielske in their lives--seeing them think through the options and make decisions. Thanks so much for sharing!
thank you so much, dear Jennifer for all your gorgeous and helpful Videos! ❤ this one is extra interesting, because it shows the creative thoughts in detail...wonderful!🤩 sending lots of love and blessings from germany! ❤
I love this, Jennifer! Keep them as long as you like - the longer the better! I got really immersed in this one and just love watching the creative process of others. You just fill me up with ideas and inspiration!
Hi Jennifer! I just want to thank you for All of your creative ideas and designs. Big Hugs and keep on creating and you are such a inspiration to so many. ❤️❤️
You are so inspiring and I appreciate how you think of the small craft businesses who need to be recognized. I truly value your favorite craft videos. I need more time to be creative!
This was incredibly helpful. Thanks for sharing your process, and for encouraging us to do what makes *us* happy as we discover/refine our own creative process.
I absolutely love your videos. I also appreciate how you give us permission to recreate. I would never copy to sell but found that when I started card making, all I could do was recreate. A few years later and I’m past copying and can now just be inspired. Thank you for all you do. I appreciate your wisdom and creativity you share with us.
Great video. Love your creativity and enjoyed every minute of it. I have the Thanks stitch dies and love it. Great idea to cut the thanks out. Hope they continue to make stitching dies. 😊
I love the way your mind works. I find your videos a joy to watch as I see products that we can't buy here in N.Z, Thank you for your time showing us "how to".
You never have to apologize for lengths of videos, I watch Scrapbooking made simple videos and they range from 2 hours to 2.5 hours. Yours are much shorter and very good too. Had a wonderful time watching iyt.
Wow more fabulous ideas! You could make a 2 HOUR video & I’d still be glued to it! My favorites are when you show how you changed your mind or messed up bcuz I can see why one looks better! Keep making more like this (but love the other ones too)! 😊❤️
Oh I loved watching this video so much, I too find that sometimes my initial plan for a cad changes drastically throughout the creative process too. I am also an over thinker with most things in life so I totally get you lol. Absolutely love that you look to stretch the use of your supplies I too love to do this where possible. I love watching your videos & also follow Kristina,Gina, Cathy,Lisa & of course Simon. I appreciate all of you very much as you bring joy to my life. Currently I am in hospital watching videos from all of you… just wish I had some supplies here too. Thank you for all you do Jennifer.
I love the create with me video. It’s very interesting how you plan your cards. I usually just jot down an idea but the drawing on the post it makes it easier. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas.
I LOVE this video. I got the Thanks stitching die and have it cut out and ready to go. I appreciate the idea of cutting it apart and using another sentiment. Thank you for all your creative ideas.
Hot mess? I don’t think so you’re brilliance shines as brightly as your humility and shame on you for sending me running to Spellbinders to buy these products! I love everything you do and your way of teaching is so concise and clear you are a joy to watch. Thank you so much Jennifer the world is a better place because of you
Again, you knock it out of the park!! One of the best tips I use of yours is to put die cuts into the pocket with the die. That has helped me so much! I also love the stitching dies so I can stitch the colors I want. Easy to do while I'm watching TV By the way, I found an old video of the iron off technique and I can't wait to try that, too! AND I really needed your tip about the post-it notes!!
Shorter videos? NO NO NO !!! 😉 Jennifer you read my mind when you used that stitched die with something else than the word "thanks". Also this is extremely helpful for us foreigners ( I am French) as I try to make cards with French sentiments as much as possible since my folks don't speak or understand much English. Thank you! 👍
I too “over think” - each time I make a card, I make 8 the same - I draw, I write notes, hash it over in my mind - make a mock up - I’ve gone as far as making the card then not liking it, and changing it 3 times until I’m happy - I don’t have those exact dies but very similar, including the curved ones - in fact I think they are from Spellbinders - going to make them work somehow - so if your “ears are burning” just say oh, oh, Marlene is creating” - lol - but you know what, I LOVE IT!
Thank you so much for the video. I just received the same three sets of dies and haven't had a chance to use them. You made very beautiful cards and have given me even more inspiration to try with my new dies.
Thank you for sharing so many ideas and beeeyoootiful cards. And thank you for listing the products below the video. I know that is time consuming for you but so convenient for shopping.
Another amazing video filled with incredible cards!! I just wanted to thank you for the AMAZING teacher that you are!!! I have learned soooo much from you!!

You call it an episode Jennifer, we call it 40 minutes of joy!
Most of your fans and students would not care if the video was 2 hours long. We need to see all your designs, design flaws and corrections. Of course you are a cardmaker? The whole idea is having fun. And if you're doing that? You are doing it exactly right!
Love your longer videos because I always learn SO, so much!
My wife is a card maker, so, with this video on and a glass of wine I had a peacefull nap!
Your video are never too long because they are full of info, beautiful technique and seeing your wonderful cards being made while we all watch you create.......always thanks for sharing.

I am having a slump at the moment, this video has come at the perfect time :)
I love the longer videos where you create a bunch of cards or mass produce. It's so nice to watch at the end of a long day.
I am really happy about your comment about being an overthinker and how it can be made into something positive. So true!! It is a fabulous video and I encourage you to overthink ANYTIME!!! Beautiful cards Jennifer!

I am guessing that anyone you send one of your creations to would love it -- whatever the size!

I loved this video and sharing your process. Glad to hear you agonize too! Sometimes you feel like you are the only one that has no mojo...Thanks!
You are such an inspiration Jennifer! Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Please do more of this! I love getting into your head about the creative processes. The sketch is a wonderful idea. Thank you!
After watching this video I have a very happy heart and mind filled with inspiration ❤️
Shorter videos? NO NO NO !!! 😉
Jennifer you read my mind when you used that stitched die with something else than the word "thanks".
You always make the most awesome cards. I would love to play with all of your many stamps and dies. Lol Thank you for sharing your creativity. 🙂
