This will be the first and last time I'm ever gonna build one of these on top of a mountain in survival. SO MUCH SCAFFOLDING
Its no easy feat building on a mountain top in survival for sure jamesemusic but it will look amazing once you get it done

I just built this in my survival world! i wanted a more sorcerer vibe, so I made it with deep slate and nether brick for the base, the roofs are made from acacia and other smaller details were mostly mangrove and acacia together, looks really cool! Would love to see an interior design of this as well, thank you for giving us a tutorial of this awesome build!!!

I am building this now on one of the survival servers I play.. I will post a pic here when I am done. I did change the warped with crimson, the dark wood with spruce, and the windows pink. The roof I did made it red nether bricks on small ones.. I found your channel 2 days ago. And I want you to know how relaxing you sound. And how easy is to follow your builds.

I love this tower so much. Its the first tutorial I actually followed and built. Its also an absolute nightmare to build in survival. Some of the block placement feels like witchcraft. I cant get the fences\trapdoors\etc to place correctly in some of the situations. Ive spent hours upon houra trying.

Hi, could you tell me the right height of this tower, I couldn't calculate it from the video
The build is great, an interior how to get to the upper levels would help. i can decorate it myself. I assumed this tutorial was going to show how you got up to all the levels too, So it is a bit disappointing to build this in survival only to realize at the end its not a complete tutorial.

Why did it take me following this video to realize the prismarine color shifts slowly? Like i have been spending so much time trying to figure out if it was blue or green so I could use it in my home. It's both mystery solved

I'm building this on top of a mountain in survival, and I'm gonna build a large wheat field in the plains biome below. I'm struggling with interior design ideas though. I'm thinking I want to make the small side towers bedrooms, but I'm honestly struggling with any other design parts.
I'm also planning on changing up the stairway entrance, as it doesn't quite line up well with the mountain part of where I built it. I'm also planning on adding a blackstone gradient at the bottom and maybe building an extra second layer to the basement since the left wall lines up perfectly with a cliff face, and I think it'll make it look more "rooted" and integrated with the terrain.

ooh some awesome ideas here! I like the idea of having the floating towers as bedrooms, or perhaps one could be an enchanting room, and adding in the deepslate sounds fabulous and a great way to tie it into the terrain!
Some other rooms you might like to include (as well as the practical things of course, being survival and all) are a magical library, kitchen/feasting room (the fantasy medieval version of a dining room ✨) an armoury and maybe a cartography room, perhaps you could even have a dungeon in the extra basement space 😮

@@ImAWildOneGamer I thought of making one of the towers an enchanting room as well! Unfortunately, the bookshelves would have to be inside the walls to get a fully powered enchanting table in survival, and that'd look a little strange from the outside I think. Maybe I could turn one into a potion brewing area... it'd definitely fit in with the tower's theme lol.

I saw this and this has been the perfect build to start my ice spikes kingdom in my SMP. How would you do the inside for getting between the floors. Thank you for the tutorial!!
Hi there Noah! Im so glad this build is just what you need 😸I would tend to use a ladder placed on trapdoors or you could create a compact 2x2 spiral staircase. Another option what works well for this build given its use of teal would be a warped vine

I just built this from sut calcite brick, a little calcite brick and quartz bricks, with the warped trapdoors and twisted wood, (Im playing on a modded server. I love it thatnks so much for the tutorial!
One thing, when you are adding the doors up the tower, moving back so we could see what side you are on would have really helped, lol.

Following this tutorial in my survival world. Im changing out the dark oak for spruce and the prismarine/warped for mangrove. Im hoping it looks good because i didnt test this color pallette before getting the materials 😅

i also am thinking of changing the prismarine to crying obsidian and normal obsidian but idk how that would look, with blackstone stairs

I just made this in survival I would love an interiour design i didn't have the end rods like you suggested so i an going to replace all the place holder chaines with endrods later i hope to see an interior design so it can be finished

Great video, build it in survival, cannot recommend. Pain in the ass to fo in survival. But still beautiful build. I replaced the aquamarine roofs with warped wood variants because I like it more.

Getting close to finishing 😸
i wish i had creator mode, if only to fly if nothing else, im on a friends modded server its taken me DAYS to get 20 minutes in (ive also had to go back out for mining multiple times.) first time im comitting to minecraft and making something.

Is these building good for survival with respawn archor + enchant table inside?
Hi there buldozer, sorry for not responding sooner! This would be a fabulous build to house your respawn anchor and enchanting table along with all your other survival needs! Its a spacious build so the possibilities are just about endless 😸It is a rather big project to tackle in survival but i know you can do it and it would be a pretty show stopping base thats for sure! One question is, is it possible to live inside, is there enough space or more for decoration?
There is plenty of room to live inside but I guess it depends how much room you need If you wanted a massive extra space you could always build a hidden basement

Can we get a different staircase for the entrance?
You could create any staircase you wanted with a bit of design change That's the wonderfulness of Minecraft and its ability to let you make a build totally yours
If i wanted to replace the prismarine with amethyst, what blocks would you recommend to use as stairs?
Hi there muhammaddayyaan
Id probably just replace all the blocks in the roof with the amethyst blocks and then go in and place some of the amethyst crystals in various size over the roof to break up the blocky texture and give it a more organic feel
Another option would be to create a purple gradient using purpur, amethyst and purple concrete which gives you some more options with stairs

Hello sweet friend, I totally understand, guardians arent my favorite mob to face either (and sorry for not replying sooner!)
A great substitute is warped wood as it has a similar color or oxidized copper has that same great teal color too! Hope this helps and happy building 😊💐

You are so lucky your not on ps4/5 because I have to place blocks when placing anything that requires me to crouch because my ⭕️ button is crouch/fly down… this made me think,”you’re a wizard harry” because I just saw that yesterday Jan27. 29:34 here’s where I am now! It is frustrating when you go to crouch and you fly downwards, you might find holding your fly up button at the same time holds you in place 😊On PC my crouch/fly down key is shift and my fly up key is spacebar and if i hold both at the same time i just hover in space

oh yes im sorry about that, I always try to triple check my material lists but that one slipped past me, you'll need 6 warped doors for this build 😊

Just spent probably 5 hours building this in survival to come upon the realisation I have no idea what to do with the inside lol, can anyone share some things they did since there isnt an interior tutorial?

It is a large build with plenty of space to decorate so here are some ideas:
Storage Room
Decorative library/alchemy room (you could make it functional by adding in an enchanting table and brewing stands
Bedroom, made pretty with custom furniture
Dungeon
Map room
Blacksmithing room
Armor Hall

This type of wizard tower has been built for years and is inspired by the likes of Tolkein etc I can guarantee you Wild doesnt need to copy builds from anyone as she has been building on MC since the beta 2009 version and has had towers like this on patreon servers for years. We had never even heard of this person and if you look there are hundreds of these towers all over RUclips and each one is slighly different and Im sure noone has copied other than to be inspired by middle earth and other fantasy fiction
im working on this build now in survival. the build itself is not bad to do in survival, but this tutorial does not translate well when i cant fly around like you 🥲 i switched the stone bricks to spruce and the aquamarine to crimson planks! it gives a much more forest-y vibe and i love it
Hi there Mackenzie, this is a mega build to tackle in survival and you are right, not being able to fly does make things tricky! Ive built this in survival on CaveCraft SMP and I find it helpful to set up layers of scaffolding to climb between as you create (in general I space my layer about 5-6 blocks apart) Hope this helps 😊you got this, and when its done you can be super proud!
