Depends on your circle of friends and where you live, but I definitely know what you mean. Where I'm at, no one knows who Coheed is. Which is a shame because they have literally and figuratively changed my life and who I am as a person.

There's a certain purity and innocence in not being an obsessive fan, you know? You don't gotta know all the words to every song to know you love the music, and sometimes just *feeling* it without being obligated to participate is better than singing along!

Honestly I love listening to music, but simply have never been able to memorise lyrics like everyone else seems to. I simply can't do it. It's nice when other fans can appreciate that and just enjoy the show.

Yeah, welcome to the coheed world. Some greatest songs of theirs; in keeping secrets of silent earth , domino the destitute, the willing well I ii and iii, ten speed of gods blood and burial, everything evil, and…deep cut choice, in the flame of error.
I’m sure many will agree, but, either way, as a musician myself, this band has a lot to offer whether you’re a musician too, or into their storyline and comics, into the lyrics and making them fit into your own life, or just dig their incredible undeniable groove! One among the fence my brother 😋
Listening to this, I am reminded of my son’s birth. When I was so overwhelmed with emotion all I could do was cry tears of joy. Coheed makes me feel that same way. I love this band more than words can ever express. I love the inclusivity and positivity this band exudes and fans get to share. Forever one among The Fence.
Same thing happened for me when my first son was born. I went out into the hallway to and my little brother was pacing up and down the hall and as soon as he asked "is he born yet?" The water works turn on. It's the weirdest feeling because you have literally no control over it and you don't see it coming at all. Haha

There isn't one stinker on this album, just great song after great song. It seems impossible, but these guys just keep getting better which, considering how much I still love SSTB, really is a monumental achievement. Keep putting them out boys, and I'll keep buying them! A beautiful tribute to the fans
love how i managed to spot myself a few times but i was always just a blurry blob in the background of those shots over Josh's shoulder or with my back turned to the camera in the VIP meet and greet queue, half covered by one of the lovely American folks I met in the queue in Cologne (if you're reading this, hi from the blonde girl that hung out with you during the whole show, it was great to meet you three!)
Almost 20 years later and they're still my favorite.
