    This motorcycle continues to grow on me. Love the aluminum pieces as well and really like the exhaust. Personally I am not a huge fan of matte finish on the tank and fender. I prefer a mirror finish myself... great review by the way!

    Greeting 🙂 you are a classy rider and this is 1 of the best reviews 👏. I Sincerely appreciate your review. Poland is beautiful and needs a visit 😍 God bless. I bought a brand new red one 3 weeks ago. Came with stock Dunlop D214 tires.

    Nice video and great explanation. I picked up the previous model (2009) and love it. I do miss the ABS on mine and traction settings etc.
    In terms of torque delivery, how does the new cb1000r compare to the previous? Some say the 2008 version is "boring" and a bit dull, but I don't find any of that as mine power wheelies in 1st and 2nd. Never hit max km/h.
    Thanks bud!

    That clunk putting it into first gear is Gone now by using Motul 7100 ester 4T engine oil 👍 I also flushed the stock coolant and put the blue Engine ice coolant & the difference is significant in heat reduction (30 degrees less) . I also swapped the stock chain with a new D.I.D Gold X-Ring one 👍

    Wonderful review. Does it have a quick shifter ? If you had a choice between a street triple or the honda ?

    Hi. I've got a Crosstourer also. Have booked a test ride on cb1000. Would you use one for touring? I take the CT to Spain for 2500 mile tours, about 6-8hours aday. Would the Cb be a struggle on a tour. I'm keeping the CT. So it's not a choice between the two.Would Appreciate your advice . Thanks. Andy

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  6 лет назад

      IMO the CT is a comfortable tourer that eats up the miles. With a touring screen you could push quite hard on the open road. The CB1000R is naked and would be more challenging for long distance. The seating position is also important, the CB1000r is more sporty whilst the CT is upright. If you owned both bikes I would definitely say the CT is the better choice. I would keep the CB1000r for maybe the od day trip here and there. Cheers

      0 to 100 Adventure My mates have Mt09 z1000 etc. I struggled to keep up on twisty stuff. me and the loaded upCT = 400kg. So ideally I'm looking for something lighter but still good for touring hence my question. I'll still take it out for a test tho and see how it feels. I think I will agree with you and it may be a bit small for a long tour. Thanks for your advice.

    Can you delete the rear tire mudguard/plate holder?

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  6 лет назад

      Roy Batty I did not deep dive into that detail, but I can almost assure that it would be possible. The best is to check with the dealer to be 100% sure.

    rapes z1000 now with 143whp not bhp..but needs gearing because the gears are very very long for a naked bike..2 gear 200km/h

      It doesn't have 143hp at the wheel, you moron. Try 120hp.

    Sorry but that is one ugly bike, you rode the 9T and it is a stunning looking bike, it may not have the inline four but its a real bikers bike, the Honda is just an engine with lots of technology in an ugly package...

    • @0to100Adventure
      @0to100Adventure  6 лет назад +3

      Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I like the looks of the 9T over the Honda. Had more fun with the Honda though, the engine for me is more enticing. Cheers and thanks for watching.

    • @judechua8006
      @judechua8006 6 лет назад +4

      I believe both the r9T and this cb1000r owns their own appeal. Obviously the bimmer offers classic beauty and teleports you back in time and this Honda offers futuristic looks that no bike can beat aesthetically. However, I'll take the Honda anytime to withstand the test of time.

      I rode the 9T. Engine was just OK. Vibes. I felt every little pebble and crack in the road. I like the CB. Style. More power. Smooth.
