Can you Beat Elden Ring Without Using Stamina? | (Elden Ring CHALLENGE)

- Опубликовано: 24 дек 2022
- Elden Ring is a game with many playstyles and possibilities, but pretty much every playstyle revolves around 1 core mechanic: the stamina bar. Almost all the actions a character can do are tied to this bar.
So what would happen if we went after beating the whole game without ever using it?

1 Question in Ordina the liturgical town couldn’t u have equipped the family heads in your off hand to get-off the weapon art instantly, and have torch in main hand?
Elden ring without stamina you mean my first play through being new the the dark souls series I almost never put any points into vigor or endurance or strength all mind and focus babyyyy just don’t get hit ever
I forgot about The Last Story! Ty for reminding me of it with this. I'm gonna go replay that after I find my wii.
this video is amazing!!!
risk of rain 2 always hit different
Without stamina you'll need a lot of endurance (as a player)
What should I press?
Not wrong lol
hi dad
@@sebastiansteven9588 press randomly until you find the right button
@@BloodyAshes should I press continue? Muahahahaha. Get it cuz that’s his name

I love how now several months out, people have such an all inclusive understanding of ER mechanics and gear, that you can plan these sort of challenge runs. I haven’t played it since June, but seeing all this is a perfect reminder of why I played it for 160 hours and why it’s hands down the best game I’ve played in years.
Dang noob numbers
@@cuddlequeen3225 I’m a busy guy, only got so much time to play… so the most any game gets is one playthrough :)
@PokéDaily fair enough. Elden ring has so much replayability and there's pvp/colloseum if that's your thing it is great.
Most elden ring mechanics have been known for several years, so not _thaaaaat_ crazy
@@Paddy656 Elden Ring has only been out for 9 months, so players have not known the mechanics for several years. you seemingly misunderstood what my post meant...
Never knew that Familiar Rancor doesent use stamina... you learn something every time with this game! Great video man :D
Yoo tototrieps what's the next challenge run buddy sorry that I haven't tuned in last 5 streams or whatever I was sick and very busy I'll tuned in next stream♥️
(If I can that is)
@@Havel_the_rock763 because of your comment I've found some new content to watch. So thanks lol.
@@oogabooga1228 your welcome ♥️
I suppose it's the family doing all the work. The perks of necromancy I guess, huh?
Toto commented huh
Agree with your preference of puzzle-based challenges over combat ones. It shows just how many tools tricks and clever strategies the player truly has.
My favorite challenges are ones where it's a genuine question of IF it's possible, rather than how hard it is.
That’s what I love the most about gimmick fights, that don’t only require you to press r1 r1 or using only consumables, it’s really funny to fight in a different way sometimes
something that might have made the rykard fight easier:
mimic tear cannot be afflicted with status whatsoever. it also doesn't consume the items you give it when it uses them, meaning you can give it a raw meat dumpling and it'll have infinite healing.
Mimic tear can be bled out and deathblight afflicted though
You can also have it use the uplifting aromatics, which lets it take free hits, as well as giving you that buff too. The bonus damage is good too.
@@iliasalice6322 didn't know this, thanks for clarifying
@@2fakind358 Learnt it the hard way, used mimic in the deathblight dudes area in Crumbling Azula, died in second lol.
@@iliasalice6322 true, but Rykard doesn't inflict either.
Never thought I'd see a run where Malenia is easy and the Elden Beast is hard. Your tips for Ordina might help me, as I'm doing a "stealth run" that also involves avoiding combat with enemies.
Something to know, the sentry torch's effect is just by having it out in an active slot, you can have it on your back and two handing another weapon and keep black knives revealed.
also can appply no skill ash of war on torch and use right handed weapon's ash of war
Finally, someone recognizes the power of Vow of the Indomitable. It's basically portable I-frames without all the hassle that rolling brings. Slapping that bad boy on a shield helped get me though my torch only run, since it's the most reliable way to avoid Radagon's triple slam.
you can avoid his tripple slam by just running to the side and jump whenever he hits the ground.
@@Ghorda9 I say again, the most reliable way.
@@grfrjiglstan requiring FP is less reliable than using stamina in every scenario
portable i-frames trading fp instead of stamina...yea no only in runs like these is it useful.
You can also just... roll
Hey Kyle, really enjoyed the video. The run itself, the editing, the soundtrack choices, the narration, but the thing I liked the most is the storytelling, the feeling of a puzzle being solved throughout. Thank you!
7:25 "fairly easily"
**gets one-shot**
I mean if the moves are easy to dodge then yeah.
He meant to actually get to the area, not fight anything there.
That's pretty much this game in a nutshell. Too high boss damage leading to instant one or two shots even with high health. Sad to see that this passes off as good balance these days.
49:45 the torch actually works if it's on your back. (don't know if this was a 1.08 change or not.)
It's always worked just sitting on your back as far as I can recall.
Not a recent change, seems totally intended. It just has to be "active" in one of your hands.
Seeing you brute force your way through that thorns run was nothing short of awe-inspiring. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing an extended take on this attempt.
I gotta say the videography of your videos is superb. It really feels like you are telling a story and props to you completing another one! (The challenge and the video.)
Ahh yes, the "Videography"
Such an eloquent word!
@@morphalta2074 is that not the term.
Maybe you didn’t know. But the Mimic Tear can heal itself with raw dumplings if you have them equipped in your inventory. Since the Mimic can’t get poisoned it doesn’t have any downsides when it eats them to heal.
Also have you considered having the mimic using more incantations and sorceries? Like Dragonmaw and Ancient Dragons' Lightning Strike are both very good against Radagon and Elden Beast. But I don't know if the Mimic AI will be smart enough to use them correctly.
Giving mimic the antspur rapier and rot breath or ekzykes decay sounds like it would be incredibly powerful since it can do rot buildup from any range
That also has the funny effect of causing your Mimic In the Boss Fight to poison itself since it isn't a phantom.
Just a quick correction about the ordina evergeol and the sentinel torch: the effect that lets you see the invisible black knife assassins still works while the torch is on your back while youre 2handing the weapon in your other hand
Failing that, you can also put the familial heads in your off-hand. While dual wielding, the weapon art on your left weapon will always be used. Think of it as the heavy attack of your off-hand.
@@IRLNickOckward that’s actually wrong, the right weapon art is prioritized unless the left is a parry. You’d need no skill on the right to use the left AoW. I’m powerstancing with different AoW weapons right now and I have to change out which is left or right based on the AoW I want readily available
@@dylanh8163 I swear this was a problem I had to solve during my playthrough, but that was way back when the game had just been released
This is genuinely the one of the best elden ring challenge run I've ever seen. Probably my second favorite elden ring challenge I've ever seen.
If you wanted to kill the Black Knife Assassins in the Evergaol of Ordina, the torch still applies its invisibility breaking effect when you 2-hand your weapon, it just doesn't shed any light.
For some reason, people seem to think you have to do the "hold torch up" thing for it to work.
Loved the first no-stamina run and this video took that and cranked it up to 11! Great job man keep up the amazing work!
Very nice. I always love to see a challenge with interesting routing and tricks. This may be your best run in quite a while.
Man the editing on these videos is great. Music lining up with the cuts and commentary is great.
damn what a run, really interesting and fun to watch all the different ways to stay in the bounds of the challenge
A hell of a run and a damn nice video !! I really enjoyed it. Eager to see more :)
Merry Christmas
The only thing that I think could've made the final fight a little easier is taking advantage of the poise damage that phalanx does.
Loving the music sync on the Maliketh part
That intro hit me like a brick. My father loved Zelda and he would have loved Elden Ring. Seeing the modern visuals with the OOT intro brought out a level of nostalgia i never expected.
These videos are always top tier. Awesome content and I love how they're edited
I love how this video is the best description that "skill" can mean almost anything. Does skill mean :
"The ability to memorize and react to all enemy attacks" ~OR~ "The ability to look at ones tools and come into any fight with the best plan regardless of what the enemy does" ~OR~ "The ability to mash things together is such a way that the game best itself"
Great video, loved how you turn these action-adventure RPGs into puzzle games.
The first one, we already have words like "clever" or "resourceful" for the other two. I win.
I would absolutely love and watch a full breakdown video
Using Shabriri's Woe on Mimic tear and unequipping it was genius. Great run, very enjoyable to watch
Not sure I'd call a common tactic for ranged-focused builds "genius."
Oh~, next time sounds like torture. Can't wait!
And great work on the no stamina run, too!
One of the coolest and most entertaining runs I’ve ever seen in this game. Awesome video
I love your challenge runs and they’re really well edited but if you’d ask me I think the thumbnail(s) can be overlooked quite easily. Theres no big contrast in colors and mostly text. Of course it would be dumb if I personally had a problem with that but it maybe could lead to less views than what the video actually deserves. I’m no expert tho others might not agree. Either way great run as always man.
Man I love this game and all the ways it can be explored and challenged. Lets hope the future PVE content comes soon because im having a hard time playing anything and enjoying it like elden ring. Awesome video as usual
FYI- Dragons dogma and Remnant are a good time sink until then.
I can’t imagine how much time and effort this took.Phenomenal job and I would love to see the extended version explaining the processes👍
I would also love to see a boss-by-boss breakdown. I want to see all your strategies and see if I can improve upon them.
This is a great challenge run video. I hate the way people do them where they just upload clips of their stream and don't explain what they are doing. This is well edited and explained. Love it
Only started watching you a couple days ago and I don't even own Elden Ring. I sat and watched this whole video aswell as other videos and I just wanna take my hat off to you, keep up the great work! A well deserved subscription from me
are we not gonna talk about how well the intro of this video is put together 😭😭 thought i was ab to watch a movie
that's some crazy stuff you've pulled here
nice work, man, just plain awesome
Just the other day I rewatched your challenge runs and was hoping to see something new from you soon. Thanks for the Christmas gift!
Amazing vídeo, as always. The patience and wait always pays off, for you and for us.
I would very much like a second vídeo about the Boss fights, and it would be a great content while we wait for the "armor of thorn" vídeo in Elden Ring comes off.
Already excited for it! Happy christmas, thanks for this great presente, wish you a Wounderfull New Year and good luck in this next challenge run. Prepare yourself physical and mentaly!
So question? Why didn't you use perfumes like the Uplifting Aromatic
It doesn't consume stamina in combat and its buff is an AoE that can be casted on allies like the Mimic Tear, in addition when equipped in your pouch your mimic tear can potentially gain a copy
It gives a rather nice damage buff plus the effects of the opaline bubble tear
Cudos to your super chill voiceover, the choice of Musik
Awesome run my dude, can appreciate all the hard work and research that went into it!!
This is fantastic dude would love to see the breakdowns!
I don't know who needs to read this, but the song at 30:15 is Abandoned Castle from the Castlevania Curse of Darkness OST
Thank you, I was looking to see if anyone said what it was before I was about to comment and ask.
Much appreciated I knew the music or ost was from castlevania I just didn’t know which one I checked all ds ones I thought it was from there nope ps2 thank you 🙏 cuz this gave me a headache not knowing
Very, very cool video. I haven't seen any of your other videos, but I'm looking forward to watching them. Great job!
Love your background music choices, subbed and waiting for more awesome content
Dude, the quality and production of this video is insane. I’m so glad RUclips recommended this to me.
Sitting on my couch, this video took no stamina to watch.
Clearly the best "From Software challenge run" youtube channel, from content to editing. Always fun to watch !
Watched the whole thing and subbed the second the video ended! And thank you! I look forward to the next video
These editing skills are improving so much. Great video mate. Keep up the good work
Great stuff man. Also so close to that 100k!!
The Cat Clip had me subscribe to your channel. all jokes aside, loved the ds1-ds3 vids, love the elden ring content, keep it up!
You get a thumbs up and a sub for using some of The Last Story's OST alone. Currently "watching" this while getting some sleep and immediately jolted upright when I heard that music not far into the vid. Awoke some great memories. Good game with an excellent soundtrack.
Your narrative skills
Beautiful voice
Music usage and even naming music you used in video and comments
Amazing editing
Explaining everything
And just sheer effort put in this video is amazing
This is the 1st video of your I saw and I'm instantly hooked. This video deserves subscribe and like.
Yes, please, for the love of Alexander and Boc, please give us the whole uncut video! I just subbed due to your amazing video! The first quarter, I was talking shit with no faith in you....but you prevailed and made me a fool! Keep up the amazing work you're a legend.
God I love you for using Curse of Darkness music, I love that game and it’s really satisfying to hear some of its tracks again, big nostalgia hit
It was crazy how mimic tear came in clutch with the poise break. It’s always awesome seeing mimic tear carry fights.
Incredibly well produced! Fantastic video
This deserves 10 million views, can’t wait to see what you do next!
Now do it but try to increase your stamina as much as possible. Stamina build that doesn’t use stamina
loved the video you are mad for what you have achieved, would love to see a part 2
First time seeing your videos since dark souls 1 thorn armor run but you did a really good job on the video. Kudos
Amazing vid bro looking forward to more
Your Videos are allways Great to watch and a great mix of Information, Entertainment and really nicely structured.
I m Sure the 100k re there before 2022 ends
1:01:10 Hey ma, look! It me!
i loved how you used firelink shrine music in the conclusion of the video. So fitting!!
this has very high production quality, well done!
This played when I fell asleep. Watched it after waking up and loved it. Thanks for the video.
You know its a good video when you dont notice its 1 hour long only until AFTER it’s finished. Very hard to top this
" 0:28 fairly simple but flexible" *screaming in RL1 Maliketh*
Merry Christmas everyone! ⛄
great challenge! I enjoyed it a lot. makes the game feel fresh again
Hopping with the torrent dismount is genius. Absolutely fantastic video!
glad that you randomly appeared in my recommended this video was executed very well
Kind of unrelated but Crocodile Cacophony is sick. DKC and DKC2 have absolutely amazing soundtracks. David Wise is a genius.
Genuinely inspiring content; I'm rethinking a lot of what I know about this game now, hahaha!
Bro, that Ordina part was sooo insane, and that OST was combined perfect to the town
Thank you for an amazing job!
Best Christmas present so far :D
well done man, ive been watching since you first kinda blew up on the algrithum, and to see the level of effort and skill you bring its awesome, i will say im personally not a fan of that style of video, but if you do make it ill most likely watch
anyway good luck with future runs
I'd like to see that extra video; but I'm not gonna play a no stamina use run, so thanks for doing that for us. lol
ngl man your vids are great and you deserve way more attraction, keep up the great work :)
3 seconds into the video and i liked it without even thinking about it, one of the greatest game with one of the greatest game music? hell nah im smashing that like button
This is such an extremely well done video. From beginning to end. My only criticism is how at the start of the video you spoiled that you can beat the finaly boss. Honestly I think half the fun of a challange run is to see if it is even possible. But other than that I think this was a really good video.
deadbolts soundtrack never gets old, great video!
The extended version of this run sounds very interesting to me !
This was very cool and I would definitely be interested in a uncut boss analysis video.
Great video! And what a challenge run it was! 🎉
yeah this looks like the video ever.
The use of zoras domain theme in the town of ordina was perfect
Runs like this are fun to watch because it's in fights as well as normal running around.
Merry Christmas! Cant wait to watch it later 👍
That musical edit at the start of the Maliketh fight *chef's kiss*
I love that you used the Abandoned Castle theme from my favorite Castlevania game ^.^
That was was really sick. you are a patient legend
I’ve been binge watching your videos I love the challenges
