It doesn't get that hot. It's mixed with water, it bubbles when the flame is on it and cool very fast when it's off. Most heroin addicts in the U.S. that are shooting powder heroin don't actually need to cook it up with a lighter (you do on the west coast with black tar). You just mix it with cold water + stir , same way you shoot cocaine. But on TV they love cooking the spoon for 5 minutes, never got that. Guess it looks cool. 🤷🏻♂️ But when I did have to use heat on a shot, I could shoot it virtually right away, didn't really have to wait for it to cool or anything. I'm clean 3 years now btw.
