"Mike Lindell accused Walmart of canceling him after the retail giant removed MyPillow products from its shelves.
Lindell, the MyPillow founder and a loud supporter of Donald Trump who backs his election lies and got sued for it, said he told a Walmart executive: “You guys are just canceling us.” The far-right conspiracy theorist was told his pillows were no longer rated high enough, The Daily Beast reported on Thursday.
Lindell told the outlet the executive smirked at him, prompting the bedding mogul to slam his laptop shut and basically end the meeting. He blamed “cancel culture” for Walmart’s decision.
Lindell, who recently caused a stir in Wyoming by declaring that state’s 2020 results rigged despite a landslide victory for Trump there, told Steve Bannon in a livestream that Walmart’s exclusion will result in a ”$10 million hit” for his Minnesota-based bedding company, The Hill reported.
Walmart told The Hill that while it no longer stocks Lindell’s goods in brick-and-mortar stores, “MyPillow products continue to be available on Walmart.com.”
Other retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair and Kohl’s, quit selling MyPillow products in January 2021 following the Capitol riot."

I've worked the registers at Walmart for 10 years (and yes I'm crazy for doing so), and I recall only selling Mypillows and I've only heard people complain that they're not comfortable and overpriced. And this was before the Mypillow guy went off the deep end. This is back in the day when you only knew him as that loud guy who sold these pillows.
I was shopping for pillows at Walmart. I saw them there and it made my skin crawl. So glad they are no longer there.
Cancel or not.
I unfortunately have 2 My Pillow pillows that I purchased at Walmart years ago. I do not use them, because they are the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever tried. They hurt my neck. In addition to being a nut job, his product just plain sucks.
Several years ago my local Costco was selling MyPillow. It was a very small, very overpriced pillow. I put my head on it. It was nothing great. And so I walked away. It was not even a good product and certainly not worth the price he was charging. Who does he think he is?

I was at Walmart like months ago and tried to buy a new pillow... People were buying pillows from other companies but My Pillow was fully stocked up to the top... No lie
its because even beyond mike being a obvious trump puppet, the pilllows are garbage. You can get better quality pillows for half the price that will last you 4 times longer

I worked at Bed, Bath and Beyond for awhile and the “My Pillow” sucked. I told customers to try a different one when they asked about it just because it was uncomfortable (before he even got into politics). I am so incredibly happy that my honesty cut down on his sales. They are literally filled with jagged, uneven pieces of memory foam sewed inside cheap fabric. I’m assuming the idea came to him while he was smoking his crack pipe….
The dollar store will be selling them soon. But the price will be $1.25, and that's more then there worth.
I've actually seen and touched one of these pillows in person and they are complete and total crap. I don't think Lindell could even sell these 'bags of garbage' to prisons because it would be deemed cruel and unusual punishment.
Yeah I don't get it either, but some people do like them. There are better products that use interlocking foam bits for less money and with a zipper so you can clean it or change the amount of fill.

I was given a My Pillow as gift by my step father, it was a horrible pillow. I threw it in the trash and bought a firm $14 pillow from the local Target.

I was shopping at discount store Ollie’s today in Lexington Park, MD. I saw his pillows selling for $19 and some odd cents. I laughed knowing it must have been selling at Ollies because of his negative image associating himself with Trump. I nearly said aloud, “Mike, I would not buy your pillows at any price no matter how good they are!”

In-stock team lead at Walmart here. We couldn't sell his stupid pillows even when we put them on clearance. Even then they stayed in clearance endcaps & dump bins for a month or longer. Eventually most of them sold but only at clearance prices.

I was at a Costco with a MyPillow sales booth. NO one stopped. The salesperson was visibly sad, just standing there looking down and not even trying to engage with anyone.

In my early sales days I worked those types of booths. In reality it's the booth operators fault if no one stops. You used a key word "engage." Chances are they were young and paid hourly.
